We had our plant beds redone in front of house, new plant beds installed in back, new tree planted, my driveway widened, and new outdoor in ground fireplace including pavers, and flagstone pathways installed. The work exceeded our expectations. The team was very professional, polite, and easy to work with. The work was completed on schedule. We are very happy with the result!

Had an outdoor built in grill/kitchen area and some other brick work done over the summer. I was so happy with the work! The team was extremely efficient, work was meticulous, and they showed up everyday until the project was complete. This is a great, family owned company that does top quality work, highly recommended.

I used Van Zelst for several projects including mapping and master plan for the whole yard. We executed several projects and I was satisfied. However it became clear that they were almost cookie cuttering the choices for plants and hardscaping. Plus the price charged was well above other landscapers for similar work. I then got multiple quotes for each phase. VanZelst was always 20-50% higher. Ultimately I stopped using then entirely.

Van Zelst provided years of dedicated and professional services for me, from landscape design and hardscape phases as well as years of weekly maintenance work. Their plant material is beautiful and always guaranteed for a year, and replaced a couple things in a timely manner. I was always impressed with their work, and skills of their crew. I was never dissatisfied with them and they truly rate 5 stars. They are a bit high cost for maintenance work compared to others but do a wonderful job. Design staff and installation crews are second to none.

Even though ours was a small project, Dave Van Zelst treated it with full attentiveness. The price was competitive, the work was done when promised, and the result is very attractive. Because it was late in the growing season, when Spring and Summer came around, we had some concerns which Dave responded to very quickly and resolved fully. We would definitely hire Van Zelst again.
