Van Marcke's Ace Hardware

Twice now, I have needed help from my Friends at Van Marcke’s Ace Hardware.
Their experience in construction and plumbing have helped me solve problems that I could not solve by myself. Both time I came in for help, they were ready for the next puzzle. With a combination the right parts I was able to complete the tasks that were on my current project list.

Recommended shoe goo for a dog door issue, this $5 fix saved me the cost of replacing the entire door because the part that the shoe goo repaired was no longer available.

If you need a automotive key replaced, reprogrammed, or a new fob then David the key specialist is the guy you want to see. Not only knowledgeable about cutting and programming chipped keys, the guy is a hell of a salesman! Remembers your name, vehicle, and any other needs that you may have mentioned in conversation without being over bearing. So impressed when he did the key for my work truck, I brought my personal truck the following Saturday. And the price is very reasonable, too.

Today 4/23 Terrible customer service on the phone. Could not wait for me to give him the size of the weed eater line. Said you don't handle Black&Decker said he had to take care of something else. The call last 3 minutes 3 seconds accord to my cellphone. I'll go to the Ace on Pinal BETTER SERVICE!!!

Very helpful and pleasant employees and clean store. From what I did see, there seems to be much more selection than other smaller Ace Hardwares.

Buyer Beware...

This place sucks! It seems that they have a no return policy on a product line of bolts, nuts and other fasteners by the name: "Hillman"

All kinds of problems with this policy exist!

1) No one made me aware of this policy when I made the purchase. I worked with a man who couldn't find the size that I was actually looking for but the nature of my project meant that I was somewhat flexible so I thought I would purchase the ones they had and if I found the size I really wanted elsewhere, I would return the big ones he had found and get my money back.
2) The guy at checkout didn't make me aware of this policy.
3) No where on the receipt does it state that this is policy.
4) The bolts and nuts that I purchased do not have the product name on them.
5) The guy at the counter when I tried to make the return had a very snarky attitude and pointed at the wall behind him and said they have signs all over the place about the policy. I only saw one sign that wasn't even close to noticeable and wouldn't have caught any ones attention without someone pointing it out.

I had not even taken the bolts out of the bag, so there was no chance of them being damaged.

I will never walk into this Ace Hardware again and intend to tell everyone I know about their customer "treatment".

10/2 About 1 pm. I was asked if needed help quickly. Nice young man. I needed wire cutters and there is 2 sections of these. Nice employees at register also. I also asked if carry cement but lady was unsure. Be back for it later.

I'm changing my review for a couple of reasons. Even though the store "manager" was somewhat rude to my brother, the owner, or other regional manager, called my brother back. My brother brought the one month old and falling apart ice chest back and they gave him another one without me having to take the time to make a copy of my credit card statement to mail out. Thank you! The Ace Hardware in my neck of the woods is great and I'm glad this one remedied the problem! Thank you so much and I appreciate your honesty and help in solving this problem! And, the lady at the register was totally awesome

I'm really glad that Ace Hardware decided to open a store in the middle of town(Casa Grande). The service and selection are good.

Went and got my key copied by Steve N. the paint and key specialist. A great guy and I recommend going to ace hardware for house and yard supplies!

Knife sharpening made easy. They come out scary sharp! Sharpen 3 and get the 4th done free. Non-serrated knives only..

Everytime I go in, they are very helpful. Will pick them over the big orange or blue store when I can.

This harware carries good quality products with great customer service. Recently purchased a door nob from them which turned out to have a manufacturer flaw. I brought it back to them even though I didn't save my receipt and or packaging. They gave me a new one without any hassle, which worked perfectly. I'm now a very loyal customer! Highly recommend them.

Poor customer service. I showed up at 6:50pm on a weekday to grab one item and the doors were locked when they close at 7pm. I knocked and there were 3 employees who looked at me and mouthed “we are closed” so I pointed to my watch and said “it’s not 7pm, I have one item to get” and they just shook their heads no and looked away. Wouldn’t come to the door and explain to me why they closed early.

An awsome addition to Casa Grande, staff are excellent and very helpful, and their inventory is awsome, things you need. would highly recommend!

Beautiful clean new store. Friendly, helpful staff. We needed Ace over on this side of town. There's Lowes and Home Depot down Florence, but it's always a wait to get help at those places. If there's even someone in the department. Ace is indeed the helpful place.

Ingrid is very knowledgeable and helpful. She assisted me with my nuts and bolts for my ceiling project. She listened and understood what I was trying to accomplish and with her special skills she help me accomplish my ceiling mounts for my garage. I can put over 1000 pounds in it! Thank you Ingrid

Love it!! They have everything! Clean and new with very nice and very helpful employees. Their paint expert is truly an expert and Josie is a real go getter. Just what you'd want.
