Chad had been very nice when I sat down while he was working asking him questions on the workings of the heat pump system for I do not know anything .He is very knowledgeable and thorough in his report of work he has done. My incident happened on Friday afternoon. I called several local companies and everyone was booked. When I called Vailes, they too were booked. However the difference with them was they offered me an alternative solution. It included paying extra for a service call since it would be likely after hours. When you have temperatures in the 90s, you are glad to pay the extra money. The technician, Eric, was here before the after hour time started. He was courteous and took the time to tell me about my system. I was 100% pleased with the service I received. I highly recommend Vailes.

The tech Eric was fantastic. Showed up early and listened to our issues with the hvac system. He quickly spotted the problem and provided solutions. Thankfully the repair was able to be done while he was here and he took care of it at a reasonable price. Thank you Vailes and Eric.

Absolutely amazing service. I called in the afternoon with an AC issue (AC stopped working), and Vailes had a tech out within a few hours. Michael was my tech, and he was great, extremely knowledgeable! He checked out the issue, and gave me solution options. He did additional research beyond what I was expecting on the issue, and recommended a repair rather than a replacement that saved me thousands of dollars!! My HVAC system (under warranty )was in need of repair. It was suggested I call Vailes for a diagnostic "check up" only $99.00. Julie was extremely helpful in guiding me with lots of communication. Chad provided very knowledgeable information and explained numerous options, in writing, with quotes for each.
HVAC is working properly now and repairs were considerably LESS than other service companies I also contacted.

I was looking for a company that I could trust to do quality work and I am so glad I found Vailes! Their customer service representative, Kim, was like talking to a friend and their HVAC technician, Michael was tops! He was the type of AC mechanic that my Dad was…making sure things were fixed right and looking out for the customer!

When my air conditioner stopped working, they were able to provide me service and repair on the same day I called. Everyone I spoke with was professional and extremely helpful. I never felt pressured into unnecessary repairs or upsells. The technician presented my options clearly, including the costs and benefits of each approach, then let me make the decision without any sales tactics. The repair was better than expected and I will most likely invest in their service plan after my experiences today with Vailles.

Casey did an excellent job on 4/10/25 of PM on our A/C Heat Pump system. He constantly communicated with me during his work. He found a problem in the wiring on the condensate pump (fixed it), picked up on the fact that I had closed some outlet vents and thus running the system out of Jesus design, and several other items. Casey was very personable and I enjoyed working with him. Super competent. I would highly recommend both Casey and Vailes.

In the beginning they were able to make time to fit us in when we were out of heat and came to see the problem. Once found that our furnace needed replaced, they did everything to get the equipment ordered and installed promptly and properly to have us back up and running. They even helped us out with portable heaters for heat in the meantime. Installation crew was very professional and did a great job with install and I will definitely use them for all my heating and ac needs in the future and recommend to anyone else.

Chad was the most thorough, professional, and understandable technician that we have ever had here since our being with Vailes in 2009. He is a keeper. We will be talking with you in a year for a new system.

My furnace issue was time consuming and took a couple of attempts to resolve, but Vailes never gave up on it. Everyone with the company was extremely professional and friendly, going the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of.

Called for service on an old oil boiler that hasn't been in use for probably a year or two, and is roughly 19 years old. Casey went through all of the parts of the boiler with me, and provided a detailed report of exactly what NEEDS to be done, as well as additional recommended items to consider. He also took the time to show me how to do some of the ongoing maintenance on our radiators myself. Very highly recommended and will definitely call again.

Also they when well above expectations by providing a probable AC unit at no charge to help keep my house cool until the part came in. 4/10/2025 Update: just had our warmer weather HVAC cooling checkup. Casey was very knowledgeable and helpful. He even helped me set up the thermostat app on my phone and synced it to our system. A few months ago we bought a whole-basement dehumidifier from Vailes and it’s made a huge difference in our basement. I love Vailes! I highly recommend them.

Our AC gave up the ghost about a week before we were supposed to go overseas for 3 weeks. I called Vailes and their owner, Robert, came out the next day to discuss options. Within a couple hours I had signed a work order, gotten financing approval and a week later we had a whole new Trane heat pump/ AC installed and working. The guys who did the work were excellent in their work, camaraderie, and customer service. Jake, Michael and Lance were very professional, knowledgeable and hard working. They did a great job and we are very happy with our new Trane. So are our 3 dogs, 5 cats and house sitter!! Samantha is the voice on the other end of the phone and she was awesome from start to finish. I highly recommend Vailes and plan to use them for our plumbing needs, too.

We’ve had Vailes service our Trane heat pump since they installed it almost 20 years ago. Today our favorite tech Casey arrived to inspect our unit prior to the cooling season. I always feel secure when he cleans and services our unit, plus it feels like catching up with a friend.

Update: The company covered the cost of a part that was installed over a year ago, although it had recently passed its warranty date. I paid for the service call and labor, which was reasonable. Once again, Casey arrived in time and completed the work efficiently. He was clear in his communication re what he did. I continue to appreciate Vaile's responsive service and courtesy.

Casey was thorough, also bleeded my radiators, and provided clear information about my boiler.
It’s a year later and I was very happy to have Casey service my boiler again. HOnce again, he was thorough in both his work and taking the time to clearly explain the condition of my 45+ year old boiler. I’m very satisfied.

Service tech Casey was on time as scheduled and promptly got to work replacing a failed gas water heater. He was very courteous and answered all of my questions. Would definitely use Vailes for service again.

We recently had to replace our Central Air Conditioner and contacted Vailes Heating and Air for an estimate. The salesman evaluated our current system and recommended a systems with a SEER rating that was the most cost effective from an energy use perspective and also replacement cost. He also determined that adding and additional return duct to the system would improve performance.
The installers were on time, very respective of our home and when they left the attic was cleaner than before they started.

June 2025, had Vailes service our unit. Tey found a blown fuse and replaced it. the tech Chad was very articulate and communicated each step of the repair.
