Mark was great. Sherry was the greatest the office staff and all the employees seem to be very good people conscientious and professional. The member that painted my house. I believe his name was Jose. He was very communicative. Had a great personality and did fine work. We even shared a discussion about our children.

Mark and his United Services team recently completed a major home repair and rennovation project (roof and downspout/gutter installation and exterior painting). We are very pleased with the results and enthusiastically recommend Mark and his team at United Services for the following reasons:
1. They genuinely listen to and communicate with the customer throughout the entire process from proposal development to quality inspection after project is complete - they made me feel lke a valued client rather than a "work order number".
2. Excellent communication and follow through - they consistently stayed in touch to update project status before, during, and after the project. Additionally, Mark always responded to my questions and concerns in a very timely manner.
3. Exemplary quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail in performing the work. The same level of quality was evident in the previous project United Services performed on our home exterior.
4. The United Services workforce (craftsmen and project supervisors) were dillegent, competent, and professional.
5. Fair and reasonable pricing = overall outstanding value!

One of their guys came knocking at my door, saying I had storm damage and I should let one of their experts give me a free estimate, so I agreed and set up an appointment. Next day guy shows up and tells me it's not worth his time to do an estimate. I left work for this. I understand you guys are busy but this is just unprofessional.
Edit: In response to United Services response I feel like I should point out that this is terrible advice for any homeowner and most roofing companies would recommend the exact opposite - contact your insurance company after getting an professional assessment of damage.

Have had United Services do siding, and 2 roofs on our home. We are very pleased with their work and Mark took care of our insurance to save us alot of money!

United Services installed new doors and windows for your house this spring. They were excellent to work with. Mark the president communicated great and saw the project through. Due to the pandemic there were many challenges in getting these installed on time but Mark was a true professional in helping make it right when we ran into challenges. There were many different people installing and working on the windows, doors, and frames frames and all did a great job and were very professional. We are very satisfied with the service and quality of the doors and windows.

Installation was great and the install team was extremely friendly. I had a few concerns about down spout placement but they were resolved before I even had a chance to bring it up, which is wonderful.

Only dark mark was I really wanted to have this done before the 4th of July, which was an agreement I had with Mark when we decided to pull the trigger on the install, but it was dropped and wasn't installed until the 6th.

Still - overall incredibly happy with it. Looks wonderful, no regrets whatsoever.

Very pleasant experience with fixing my wood siding and paint. I didn't expect this but they used the best Sherman Williams paint as well. Neighbors also mentioned that the design gave the house a much larger appearance so getting a designer to help with color made a major difference over standard design. You'll notice not all trim but selected parts to separate levels give the big house affect.

Windows are next...

Higher quality windows than the big name companies for more than half the price! Mark's crew was professional and polite and did a great job with the install.

Mark Passer and Cindy Kohll came to our house and listened to what we wanted done. They made suggestions but didn't oversell or push. They were friendly and helpful. Work was done on time and we were very happy with the workers and the results. We would definitely use United Services again.

These guys did a fabulous job on my house! It was a big job! All windows, doors, siding were replaced; then they did extra things like painting my fence and a side door. Amazing job.

I hired them to finish my basement which they said would take 2 weeks. 6 weeks later and they were still not done. There were so many issues created by their employees and their only response was “this is construction”. Construction issues shouldn’t arise due to incompetent employees. They hire incompetent, unprofessional sub contractors. They had to come tear the ceiling out because it started having cracks a couple days after it was installed. United Services then hired a different sub contractor who tore the ceiling out and replaced it. Cracks begin to appear again the very next day because they hired yet another incompetent sub contractor. The painter they hired literally did such a horrible job that we didn’t even have to complain. Their own employee said it was unacceptable! United services subcontractors are so bad they even installed the knobs on the vanity wrong. They are never on time to work- if they show up at all. You constantly have to ask if anyone is coming to work on your project for the day. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere! It’s not worth the headache or time to deal with this company!

I had a small kitchen totally gutted and redone. My designer Randy and the contractor Dan were excellent! They both understood exactly what I wanted and the the workmanship and professionalism were outstanding! Love my kitchen!

We had hail damage to our roof wall metal on our roof. The manager Mark came to our door and asked if we wanted an estimate. I wasn't sure about the damage but he asked to look. Then he was passionate about he would do and listed all items that were going to be replaced or painted. His contractors were good to work with and were good about getting here to do the work as requested. I had to keep on Mark about staying on task but that was because he was busy with others. It was minimal. Thanks Mark for a good job.

Mark and his team were prompt, professional and efficient in not only assessing my situation but completing the necessary work. I highly recommend them!

United Services did a great job replacing our roof. They did it in one day. We had all of our windows replaced a few years ago and had no problems with them. They put on a superior gutter guard when they did the roof. They only charged the amount they had on the work order. They are very easy to work with. I will use them again when I need repairs on our house.

Very professional. Extremely courteous. Helped with furniture moving and removal of some window dressings. Would recommend this company to family and friends

We had a new roof and new windows installed this year by United. Mark spent a considerable amount of time with us making sure we got exactly what we wanted. You’re taking a big risk these days with some of the horror stories I’ve heard about other contractors. But, he stayed in touch with us and made sure to stop by and check on his crew and make sure we were satisfied. Our house looks brand new! And, I couldn’t be happier. We will gladly recommend and refer all of our friends to United.

We had our roof replaced by United Services Design. This the 2nd time we went with United Services for our roofing needs. Once in 2007 and this year 2018 for hail damage from the storm of 2017. Husband very slow to move in it.

Overall excellent experience!! I got a new roof, windows and vinyl siding. Tom Bogard was helpful in finalizing all of the details and patient as I was completing my financing. I have gotten a lot of compliments!!

If I could give less than one star I would. It was an uncoordinated mess of a project. I had them paint, replace chimney flashing and got new gutters. I couldn't get a timeline from anyone and the whole thing took about 3 months. I was billed twice for part of the project. The final product is fine, but the process was awful.

We had new windows installed in 2004. Since then, Mark Passer has never let us down with window issues. He will also be doing our new roof and siding in the near future.

In short, systematic failures in communication. I could write out a novella of what happened on what date and the amount of time that elapsed before I finally had enough and initiated contact to see what the story was with our storm damage repairs. After my insurance company could not get a hold of them I promised an honest review based on my experience going forward. United Services failed and I will not be using them again.

Edit: I have since spoken with the owner about the experience and upgraded the rating.

We have had three major projects completed by United Services Omaha: new windows, a new roof, and a complete house painting. All were completed on a timely basis and within the cost estimates they provided. The workers were friendly, competent, and enjoyable to have around. We definitely recommend United Services for outdoor home improvements..

After the Storm of 2013, i contacted United Services at the request of a friend and i was very happy with my results. They replaced my roof and repaired the siding on my home and painted my entire house. The crew did a great job and cleaned up my landscape beds. I would recommend Mark Passer to anyone that would need his services. October 2021 - I called Mark from United Services to look at domes issues with the siding on my home. His crew came and did the repairs in 3 days. They repaired about 100 board feet of siding - caulked all of the seems and painted my house including the gutters and down spouts. I highly recommend United Services for all of your exterior needs!

I was very happy with the personal and professional manner in which these guys conducted business. I got a painting estimate, in which they discovered some rotting wood and some repairs that needed to be done in order to improve the quality of my home, and safeguard it for years of wear and tear to come. They went above and beyond your average Joe Schmo painter, and really delivered top quality service. Definitely recommended!

I hired United Services to replace some damaged siding on my home and repaint the whole house. I wanted a rain screen installed behind the siding and it turned out great. They addressed any concerns promptly and professionally.

While United was able to give finance free service, for a period of time anyway, the FOLLOW UP SERVICE IS DEPLORABLE! They make all these promises of "if anything goes wrong we'll replace it for free" is total BS! Sliding back door handle busted, incorrect door knob installed on the front door, and busted, and bent fixtures that still have not been fixed. AND IT'S BEEN 2 years. I WOULD NEVER, EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

United Services refused to honor the contract they created because they wouldn't make enough money. They don't give a $ amount on their bid and say they will take what insurance pays. An upgrade is offered as an incentive to get your business. The "incentive" is billed to the insurance company. When the insurance company won't pay the excessive amount, United Services won't do the work or cancel the contract. They try to demand that a cheaper product is used, because YOU signed a contract. The customer is the only one bound by their contract, without the additional expense of an attorney. I can't speak to the quality of their work, but they are severely lacking in business integrity. After 3 months of fighting, I have a reputable company that says "it will cost $XX and it will be done this day." No muss, no fuss. Don't even bother will people like United Services.
