It’s been just about a year since Unified Builders came to my house to give me an estimate on my bathroom upgrade. It was a rush project. They were fantastic from start to finish. The team of people that came to my house were qualified professionals. I am still thrilled with the way it came out. The project was completed within budget and on time. The cost vs estimate was reasonable for the scope of the project and came in right on the mark with no added increase. Time lines were kept. The team was very conscious about cleaning up area everyday and the interaction with the family was complimentary. I am absolutely thrilled with the project’s outcome. We needed some exterior painting done prior to listing our home for sale. The quote for the job was very fair and the work was done professionally and in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Unified Builders.

After making the mistake of hiring a " jack of all traits contractor", who took us for a ride, and left us with an addition on our home that was never really attached, so it started pulling away from our house, the roof started to leak, and the floor became pitched, I reached out to our community Facebook page and asked for references and referals of contractors that people had actually used. Several people recommended Unified Builders and one other business, so I contacted both businesses to come out to our home to elvaulate the situation. The first company, said that we would have to tear down the addition and start over. My husband was very resistant to that because of the large amount of money that we had spent the year before on the addition. Unified Builders, sent their Representitive out and he took tons of pictures, asked lots of questions about our goals and what we were looking to achieve with the project. A few days later, the owner, Chris, and another employee came out to take a deeper look into the walls of the addition. They were shocked at the poor craftsmanship of our addition, but said that they would be willing to work with us and to meet our goal of not tearing it down, but correcting it and building it the way that we had originally requested. They were upfront with us and told us that there would be a slight delay in receiving the quote, which was fine. They said that they were scheduling for January, which was only a few weeks away, so were excited at the prospect of actually getting this issue fixed sooner than later. We received a very detailed estimate, understanding that there were some unknowns involved, but we would be provided options as they occured. We signed off on the estimate and Unified Builders came in and went to work! They started with our front door, which was installed wrong, and literally had a half inch gap at the bottom. We were away when they started the project, we have dogs and indoor cats that had to be taken into consideration. They put up a barrier for the cats, so they wouldn't get out while the door was off and the dogs just loved them! I received daily logs, pictures and updates while we were away. They even included a few pics of our dogs. (We did have a pet sitter)
When we returned 2 weeks later, the progress was amazing! Of coarse they discovered more hidden mistakes, but they photographed them and always presented us with at least 2 options to choose from. We were so pleased with the quality of work, and we just loved having options, that we decided to upgrade things that we hadn't considered before, due to the hackery of the previous contractor. We now have a gorgeous pantry/ mudroom, with a farmers porch! Heather was very helpful in matching the color scheme, and offering decorative advise. I can not say enough about Unified Builders and their employees! They are all so wonderful to deal with. They take all of the stress out of renovating! We have a few more projects that we have already spoken to them about that we are anxious to get started on! If you want the job done right the first time, use Unified builders!
