We left our camper keys at home... over 100 miles away... Cheryl and Helen to the rescue! They were kind, helpful and understanding. They told me what information they needed and gave me a name and number of a local locksmith if needed. Fortunately I was able to get the information they suggested and they had the replacement keys we needed in stock! We are very thankful for their help!

Was near closing but was going to pick up a trailer power extender for my mom since I was closer. Person called at 3:40pm to confirm that they had it and would be open and mom said she would be there even later then I did. I got there at 3:50pm and the doors and lights were off even though closing says 4pm on the website. No calls being answered even though they had just called my mom.

Horrible ! I called for leveling of my RV in May and they stated that it would prob be done in June. Called in late June and they said it would be soon with them giving a few excuses. I added a request for water heater service. I called about monthly and they kept assuring that it would be "soon". The season is over and nothing was done and the only communication we had was when I called them.

I would have given 0 stars, but that unfortunately is not an option, I had to choose one star. NOT worth even one star! Awful customer service. This place is a joke. Underhanding, conniving and unprofessional. I can think of a lot of other words to describe them that I don't feel comfortable with writing. I am just so appalled at the lack of service. I've been waiting for more than two months for them to winterize it, and if it sits for 4 days or more in below freezing temperature unwinterized there would be thousands of dollars in damage and repairs because of it. I have yet to get my RV back, I had to involve local authorities JUST to get a CALL back from the place. I hope this review is helpful to someone looking for a more professional company to handle their RV business. DO NOT go here, save yourself the headache and stress.

I recently had a roof over done on my park model as well as my Florida room… Tim and Jeff did an outstanding job and finished the job in a timely manner. Their work ethic is superb and they were very thorough… Each day they made sure to police the area, and at the end of the job, everything was cleaned up and we were quite satisfied… I would not hesitate to recommend Ty Rv for work on your unit and your Florida room

Oh my gosh, where do I start. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had dealing with a small business.

In August 2023, I signed an agreement with Ty’s RV to sell my 2019 Montana fifth wheel on consignment. We live in California but had been spending summer and fall in Maine in our RV. Because we live 3000 miles away, having a local company sell our RV seemed the most prudent option. We agreed on a selling price, handed over the deed and one set of keys. The campground had the other set of keys, which they would give Ty’s RV when they picked up the Montana.

The first issue was the pickup. Ty’s informed us that they couldn’t pick up the RV when they said they would, that it would be a week later. We had decided to turn over the RV in August because that still left ½ of the camping season for Ty’s to sell it. We had just lost a week.

They did pick up the RV a week later. Three weeks after that we called to see if there had been any interest and were told that it had been parked too close to another RV and they couldn’t open the door (WTH!) So now we’ve lost a month of the camping season and our RV isn’t even being shown.

Subsequently, we received a phone call asking if we had a spare set of keys, because they had lost their set. We explained that they had BOTH sets of keys. We now realized that we had made a terrible choice on consignment companies. They did subsequently find the keys.

By the end of 2023, Ty’s RV had done absolutely nothing to sell the Montana. Again, being 3000 miles away limited our options.
In the spring of 2024 we got a call from a different employee of Ty’s RV. It seems that the person we had been dealing with no longer worked there. He told us that they had new stock coming in and would be moving our RV to “storage” and we would be charged $100/month. He said the price was too high (they set the price!) and they couldn’t sell it. After much back and forth, they agreed to continue showing the Montana and we lowered the price.

After almost a year, they still hadn’t sold the RV. My wife put it up on Facebook Marketplace and found a buyer almost immediately. We explained to him that it was on consignment at Ty’s RV and he could see it there.
He agreed to purchase it and put down $1000 to hold it. After three weeks and multiple calls from the buyer and from us, nothing had been done to complete the sale.

We then get a call from Ty asking us to send him the deed. We explained that the deed had been turned over to them when we gave them the RV. Ty said that was impossible because the deeds are all kept in one location and ours wasn’t there. We were later informed that they had found the deed.

The sale was eventually completed and the buyer took possession of the RV.

I can’t comment on the service side of their business or on new sales. I can tell you that the consignment department is an absolute nightmare. I will NEVER deal with Ty’s RV again in any capacity.

The worst customer service I've ever encountered. Damaged my trailer after his company failed to winterize my trailer in October when scheduled. Then when I confronted him about this he refused to acknowledge that fact and came up with a lame excuse about confusion on where my site was. This was after his store was provided with a detailed description of where my camper was located in the park and my telephone number. I then asked if he would fix the damage and said he would but then refused to fix it until he was paid. He actually had the audacity to ask to be paid for work he didn't do on time which caused damage to my trailer. The worst customer service and the owner Ty actually swore at me on the phone and kept calling me Bud. Stay clear of this company. Read his reviews they speak volumes on what type of company he runs and the level of customer or lack there of. Stay clear !!!!

We visited the store to inquire about having a new awning installed on our travel trailer. We were instructed to send the particulars via email, which we did later that day. After a week with no response, we called the store and spoke to the service manager, who promised to be in touch. Another 2 weeks have passed, and we've heard nothing further. It's obvious that our business is not appreciated. We had wanted to support a local business, but looks like we'll have to attempt this repair ourselves.

Called about a problem with our heater. They were busy but they said they fit us in. We waited for a call for over a week. When I called back they did not remember us at all till they found a note somewhere. Then said the technician would call in the next few days before he came out. Again no call. All my calls after that went to voice mail and never got a call back. Wasted 3 weeks! Called a competitor and they were on-site in an hour.

We bought a 2023 129 sport. Everyone at Ty's was very helpful. We had a problem with the solar panel. Ty picked one up and drove up to Tuftonboro NH about 2 hour drive and replaced it. Thank you Ty for the great service

My father and I just purchased a new camper from Tys RV and we had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the whole process,they have anything you might need to outfit your camper. We will definitely be using TYs RV for all our future needs.

Had a problem with our faucet in our destination model home. Went to Ty's, ordered our faucet and scheduled work. They were busy as some reported but we were more than happy with the service. The office staff and the resident animals were pleasant and very nice to deal with. Ty came out and installed the new faucet. He was very nice and did an excellent job.

Honestly, they do not service, focused on Sales and storefront , not helpful and does not care to engage. Not sure SERVICE is attainable they are way too busy. Unfortunate they do not care to refer to other companies when they are unable to help, found other companies to address our issue that is not lucrative enough for them.

Can't give zero stars so I guess I will have to give one....Very poor customer service, get ready to leave multiple messages, never get a reply or a straight answer and never have a promise kept. All the negative reviews are correct. This may be a good place to buy a part but if you're looking for service you should save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere.

While at the Airstream International rally, I discovered cracks on my Equalizer hitch sockets caused by the hitch ball with bolt that was too long. Threads on the bolt were mangled and the nut would not come off. Ken had to use his "hot wrench" (blow torch) to melt and blast off the hitch ball to replace it.
I'm very grateful that Ty's RV took deliveries of the parts I ordered and went extra miles to help get my problem fixed.

We were at the Airstream International Rally last week in Fryeburg, Maine. Ty was able to do some work for us on a very short time schedule. Awesome job and we couldn't be happier. Definitely a five-star experience!

Why is good customer service so hard to find these days? The communication is horrible. Took 3 voicemails before I got a callback from someone. A very nice guy named Scott came out 3 weeks ago to take a look at our air conditioner (because it doesn’t work). He took pictures, sent them to a woman in the office, and told me I’ll hear from the office with an invoice within the next few days. I left two voicemails before getting a callback about an invoice. A woman from the office called and said “most people use window units” and quoted me $3500.00 (you could find one at Walmart for $150.00 btw). I wanted my unit replaced. The woman said she’ll call me back with a quote that day. Never did. Left two more voicemails. A woman called back last Friday and said she needs images. I told her Scott already took photos and sent them in the day he came 3 weeks ago. She said she’ll call me back by the end of the day. Never heard back. Left two more voicemails and crickets…. nothing. Why is communication so hard for some? If you can’t do the job, say so. What a waste of time.

We encountered a problem with our sink faucet as we were pulling from NC. My wife called them while we were in PA and scheduled to arrive in Sanford on Friday night. Cheryl called back same day and indicated they had the part in stock and would be able to install it Saturday morning. Got there when they opened Ty had us on our way in an hour . They gave remarkable customer service!

Dropped off RV and 3 weeks later they had no looked at it and said it was on a flatbed to get service at another location. Good thing I called. I would drive by on the way to work and it just sat in the same spot. Problem was not fixed and my fridge which is hard to open (only we know how) clip sticks and we pop it open. Someone used force and stole my vintage crisper draw...What the heck. Bottom hinge broken, door falling off. THEY ROBBED ME. Are you kidding me. Who knows what else was stolen. Been traveling 5 years and stopped in Maine to be robbed. Makes me sick. Stay away. Called and called, no straight answer about repairs. Never called me to say they were bringing it someone where else. Please stay away from them. I am glad daughter removed valuables. Who would think fridge parts and LED bulbs...tacky.

We visited Ty's RV yesterday, just checking the place out. By the luck of the Irish they had exactly what we were looking for to replace our old theater seating. The staff was exceptional!! We will be back for our camper needs!! Thank you Ty!!

Ty and his crew saved the day when our 3 way valve broke and was stuck in the tank fill position. He added a simple two way valve after much work to figure out which hose in the wet bay was correct one. He worked super fast and the charge was about $250. Well worth it. Thank you Ty!

I called Ty's RV for mobile service on Tuesday 8/3 and was told that they would not be available for a couple days. I called beck on Thursday 8/5 and was told that I would have to wait another few days unless I opted for emergency service at a rate of $160 plus parts. I agreed to the emergency rate and was told that someone would get to me later that day. No one ever showed up for my service.

New to the area. Had some service done at the end of April. After a week with our Class C Motorhome, repair supposedly made, we discovered the problem was not fixed after setting up camp. Reported our concern and Ty came to our site, a week later, to see why the repair didn’t work. He looked at it and said he would be back within the week with parts. Weeks later and numerous phone calls no reply. We fixed the problem ourselves and no parts were needed. Emails, text messages and phone calls asking for a partial refund and still no reply as of yet. Dissatisfied and disappointed!

From out of state and camping at one of the nearby campgrounds when our water heater stopped working. Called Ty’s and as luck would have it their technician was already in the same campground on another call. Scott had us repaired in no time at all and went the extra mile by correcting a couple other minor issues with the water heater not associated with the original problem . Very appreciative family considering that most RV dealers are booking a minimum of 4-6 weeks out for repair issues. Thanks for keeping our Maine vacation a happy one!

Had high hopes for Ty’s. This shop came well recommended. Made an appointment to drop off camper. I waited 3 days and called to find out status on estimate. Was told they hadn’t had a chance. Waited another 3 days to be told the same thing. When I went to pick up after a week and no estimate the owner starts to tell me all the things wrong with the camper. Apparently they did have time to look but just didn’t want to bother telling me? Perhaps he thought it was a waste of time and I would not fix? I still need it repaired but with lack of communication I do not recommend bringing it here. Just be honest and open with your customer Ty not waist a week and make it difficult for us to get into another shop.

Ty and his crew are the real deal! They can literally do it all! They moved out an old trailer, moved the new one in, connected everything, installed flooring in the sunroom, put up a fence and a little bit of landscaping! Best part! They did it professionally, quick and hassle free! Thanks again!

I am actually surprised to see a five-star rating. The first time I called them about a month ago to come check out my propane tank I was given the time between 8:00 and noon My husband and I waited and waited I called around 3:00 to say they haven't come by yet and they said that he would be on his way and he didn't show up until 5:30 the same day. Bad customer service. I would have appreciated a curtisy call. I needed work done on my camper and I called and I spoke to the receptionist and she said that she would look into a quote for me and call me back. I didn't hear anything back so I called back several hours later to hear that she was still waiting to hear from someone. This was a week ago I still haven't heard anything one star from me. I will be going to someone else from now on.

RV Inspection, oil change.
They did our yearly inspection and since it was time, they did the oil change. Knowledgeable, friendly people. A waiting area for us and the fur kid.

Ty, himself is a master craftsman, who takes pride in always doing the best work.
