Customer feedback for TW General Contracting is predominantly positive, highlighting strong communication and quality of work throughout various projects. Many clients appreciate Tyler's attentiveness and thoroughness, noting that he keeps them updated and delivers results that exceed expectations. However, one review indicates a significant issue with prioritization of jobs, leading to inconsistent service during a project. Overall, while the majority of experiences are commendable, there are concerns regarding project management when multiple jobs are underway.
- Tyler is great to work with, he communicates well and keeps you updated with everything happening during the project.
- TW General Contracting provided excellent service from start to finish.
- Their team was professional, reliable, and skilled, handling our home renovation with meticulous attention to detail.
- The craftsmanship was top-notch, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the project.
- Tyler and his crew were amazing from start to finish.
- Suddenly, our job was de-prioritized and then consistency and quality of work went sour very quickly.
- There were days when the communication broke down and progress stalled.

TW General Contracting, Tyler, were hired to build a one-room addition to our home. Work began with mostly third-party subcontractors. They were great, and efficient. The “framing” on point, roofers, excellent and later professional painters, great job. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the initial progress and quality of work.
Then came the big announcement of “we have a big job!” (another job than ours.) Suddenly, our job was de-prioritized (to say the least) and then consistency and quality of work went sour very quickly.
Without boring you with all the details, there were days and weeks when no work took place. At times we felt we were placated (because we shared our concern about the lack of attention), to the point that one day one of the workers showed up and said he had sanding to do. Without exaggeration, he sanded one spot of the wall for about five minutes and left. That’s the day’s work!
Then, they were in a rush to bring in topsoil – garden soil, so we could re-grow our lawn. They went across the street to a construction site, got FREE fill dirt that had been dug up and a then placed it around the foundation. This dirt had stones, tree trunks, branches and construction debris. When I pointed this out to one of the workers and asked him how grass is supposed to grow on top of that, he just shrugged his shoulder. I asked them to remove it and have since taken care of this professionally.
They were waiting for one last part, and he said it would take a couple of days. This waiting period went on to be about two weeks, with no work being done, even though there were section that could have been worked on while waiting.
The floor in the structure that they erected is still unfinished. The floor is a disaster. On the next to the last day, I provided a list of about ten items that needed attention, they completed about three or four.
Tyler promised that he would be back the next day, Friday, to take care of the molding that needed to be installed and any other items. Well, the “first thing Friday” came and went. I texted him to find out what time he would be over. He said that he thought it over and it would not be cost or time effective to come over and honor his commitment. This is even though I pointed out that the materials (about 6 feet of molding) and time to cut and place the molding in place was minimal. Nope. The end.

Tyler is great to work with, he communicates well and keeps you update with everything happening during project. Very please with work performed by Tyler and team. Competitive pricing and top notch work!!! Will definitely be using again in the future.

I’ve worked with Tyler and his team for a couple years now and their work and attention to detail is always second to none.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
