Jake is truly amazing! He is incredibly reliable and exceptionally knowledgeable. I had someone else hang a swing in my house, but it fell twice. Rather than have that person come back a third time, I was grateful to find Jake. He anchored it securely, and it has been working great for a year, even with daily use!

Jake has completed many projects around my house, all with efficiency and high quality. He even took extra time to help me move some furniture as a last-minute request. He consistently goes above and beyond and has fixed other little issues he noticed around the house while working on my tasks.

I have received ridiculous quotes from other contractors for projects that Jake has been able to finish in much less time and for a fraction of the cost. He has integrity in his work and is truly skilled. I highly recommend him!

Jake is a one-man Chip & Jo! He is an expert craftsman who has completed numerous projects for us to include flooring, plumbing, electrical, roofing, painting, shelving, and repair. Jake is an excellent “handyman extraordinaire”. He was able to fit me into his schedule early because the job before me was completed ahead of schedule. Jake replaced 12 ceiling can lights quickly with professional skill and competence. Then Jake showed me how to adjust the float in the toilet that kept running and where and how to adjust the setting on my hot water heater. I’m an older woman who has never had to deal with lights, toilets or hot water heaters. Jake is easy to talk to, kind, respectful. I highly recommend Jake for his professionalism and high quality of workmanship. He’s the only handyman I’ll call in the future.

We called Jake to patch a hole in our house that was made by a woodpecker. He made time in his busy day to stop by to give a quote an hour later and repaired the damage by noon the same day. He did an outstanding job!!! You can’t tell where the hole was! Thank you Jake! We’ll spread your name to our friends!

I highly recommend Jake, owner of True Craft Handyman. He installed 6 light fixtures and 2 ceiling fans for me today. He was responsive to my requests and always answered a text or phone call. First he came to look at the job, give me a quote and scheduled my appointment. He arrived on time, with the ladders and tools he would need. He completed the installation in the estimated time and cleaned the areas under the fixtures before he left. Jake has a wide range of skills and I plan to schedule him again to repair a roof leak, fix the wall and ceiling damage from the leak, do a couple of faucet repairs and fix a door handle. He can do it all!

Jake did a fantastic job helping me with a difficult creative project mounting a rail system for lights and cameras. He was on time, responsive, very knowledgeable and competent, and a pleasure to work with. His rates are very fair and reasonable as well. He did not waste any time and is a fast worker. Jake of True Craft Handyman is very skilled. We have used him for deck repair, putting in a couple new doors and finishing trim and other small repairs. He comes on time, gives great advice and suggestions for the work to be done and does a thorough good job and cleans up after himself. Worth every penny.

Jake repaired a shingle on the roof and took the extra effort to do minor repairs around the shingle. He also did an excellent job on repairing the wooden chimney surround on the roof. It was rotted and falling apart and he brought it back to looking like new. He's a very professional and courteous person and took his time to make sure the job was done right. I will definitely have him return in the future to complete other projects.

This is our 2nd experience with Jake and it's the same as the first. Awesome. He truly is the helpful neighbor he advertises. You get what you pay for. Jake did a wonderful job hanging a large picture above a fireplace mantel. He was on time, very friendly, and had all the tools and skills necessary to complete the task safely and efficiently. It's great to have someone so capable in the neighborhood!

Jake did a great job repairing part of our basement from water damage. Not only did he replace, texture and paint drywall to match, he lived up to his business name by designing and building an access door to a spot behind our wall where we had the water intrusion. Competitively priced with high quality craftsmanship. What I liked about his business is that he doesn't subcontract out his work. Very honest and helpful, will definitely reach out to him in the future if we need similar work.

Jake is professional, creative, timely, polite, and exceeded my expectations for our projects. I had him add additional shelving in 3 closets. Two required one additional shelf and rod for hanging clothes. The last closet (pictured) was a coat closet that he converted into a custom storage closet. Looking forward to working with him again in the future. Would highly recommend hiring him for all of your home improvement needs!

Jake Jones built an ADA ramp off of our side deck and it came out awesome! Incredible quality and meticulous attention to detail, and for a great price. We'll be able to use the ramp for aging in-laws or any visitors who would rather avoid our steep flight of stairs up to our front door, but our immediate need for the ramp was for our senior dog who was really getting weak and struggling to climb stairs. It really helped our dog ease the stress on her joints and legs, and she was always grinning when she used the ramp because she knew we did it for her. Jake can be trusted to do any project! Jake did fabulous work installing a kitchen countertop on the sink side of my kitchen. He was professional, friendly, and took care to keep the workspaces clean from start to finish. I'll definitely be calling him back for another project!
