Got Mr. Travis name from Angi...Big mistake...Bathroom ceiling was leaking. He caulked something on roof, took about an hour and charged me $1700. He promised to send one of his employees to fix ceiling in bathroom. Never heard from him..My daughter called him.. He said that employee was killed in car crash. I told him I was calling my lawyer. He became angry. I was frightened by him.
Ceiling still leaks. Im trying to find a reputable roofer near me.

Had him out to repair a roof leak on shingled roof. He gave an estimate that seemed really high but said that the sealant he was going to use was only available to licensed roofers and he guarantees it for a year. So, he caulks a bunch of places in the span of an hour for $900. I looked up the caulking online and see that it's available to anyone and is $20/bottle. So, I paid him $760 for an hour as he used 7 bottles of his special caulk/sealer. I was ripped off big time. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. He talks alit of talk and sells himself.... don't buy it.. stay away. Get another quote like I should have done.

Travis Roofing did our roof, promising that thle new roof will fix the leaky roof corners. He nailed the new shingles over the old ones and assured us it is OK. He also installed a leaf guard over the gutters. Over time, the corners started to leak again and the leaf guard exacerbated the leaking problem. We also just found out that he shingled over our two bathroom fan vents, so the moist bathroom air was venting under the shingles for some time. We also discovered some roofing irregularities around the chimney, after it developed a leak. I do NOT recommend this company at all. Incompetent and dishonest.

Very unprofessional. No communication, no email conformation. I booked this service through Angi 30 days in advance. We had a 9 o'clock appointment. I called at 10:15am and no one answered the phone. I then got a voicemail 5 minutes later while on the phone booking a new contractor and received a voicemail cursing, using foul language that he had more important things to tend to than my "f'ing roof." DO not us e this contractor, there is a reason he has all 1 star reviews.

Had Travis roofing out to replace a shingle from a roof they previously installed. During replacement was told I needed my chimney caulked to avoid a pending leak concern. He charged me 750 and tried to add extra 100 at time of payment but after some questions he accepted 750. The caulking job was sub par and after waiting nearly 2 months for repair and getting multiple excuses I hired another company to repair. When I contacted him to advise I had repaired he threatened to cancel the previously promised 3 year warranty

First of all, I would give him LESS than one star, if possible. He knew we were helping a disabled friend to get his leaking roof fixed. He spent less than 15 minutes at our friend's house, and charged us, initially, $1,200. My husband and his friend complained so much that he dropped it down to $1,100. He, basically, just used a bunch of caulk. He first told my husband he would warranty his work for a year, but before leaving he changed it to six months. It's extremely saddening that a person professes to be a Christian, but acts like the devil. It's all just smoke and mirrors. We would never hire him again, nor would we give his name for a job.

Very disappointing showed up here for less than 45 minutes and all they did was apply caulking and charged 600.00. When I advised that it was still leaking they did not want to honor there work or lack of and said we would need to pay additional. I hired a more reuputible company to complete the job at a fraction of the cost. I would reccomend stearing clear of these guys as all they were concerned about was a positive rating.

I paid Mr. Travis 600.00 to repair my roof leak. He never gave me a definitive answer as to why it was leaking but put sealant along the roof line. It has been 3 1/2 months and with first big rain we have the same leak. Since the “warranty was 60 days they will do nothing. Please save yourself some grief and use a reputable roofing company. Buyer Beware!!!!!!

We paid Mr. Travis $3200 on September 1, 2021 to repair our roof. The home was under contract and was being sold on September 8. We had previously hired Mr. Travis in March and he’d done solid work. We had no reason to doubt him. The repair he did to my roof on September 1 was absolutely horrendous. It wouldn’t pass any inspection and Mr. Travis refuses to make it right and give me my money back. He refuses to respond to me at all which is extremely unprofessional. As a result of his “repair” we had to lower the sale price of our home by $3000 because the buyers are absolutely going to have to get it fixed. He also left after working one day and never told me it wasn’t finished, however when we called to request our money back he said it wasn’t done yet. Not surprisingly he never returned to finish it after hanging up on my husband. He also told me he was charging to chemically treat black mold which I was never provided proof of. Absolutely steer clear of this business.

Beware! We hired Roger Travis and Co. to fix our badly leaking roof. They charged us $2500 and came out multiple times....however, replacing screws and applying gobs of sealant () did not fix the problem whatsoever. Mr. Travis then said we needed a new roof. What?! We didn’t pay him $2500 just to tell us we needed to replace the roof. After he tried to scam us by way-overestimating the square footage of the roof (ha! like we’d hire him to replace the roof at that point), we asked for our money back. He then became alternatively defensive/unresponsive/unprofessional (for example, at one point he texted “Haha I’m blocking you”). We took him to small claims court, where the judge ruled in our favor. However, he has still not responded to any messages or returned the money.

The guys at Travis Roofing are friendly, dependable, honest and charged a fair price. They will be my go to roofers for any future repairs.

Do NOT use this company. They will rip you off. Travis charged my grandpa $2,200 to fix a roof leak and he came out and caulked it and put flashing down and it didn’t fix the leak around the chimney. Was called back out and didn’t do anything and was going to charge $450. Which he didn’t get paid. Do not use this company. Workers are great. The owner Travis is disrespectful and should not be in business. Avoid this company!!!!!!

Roger Travis responded immediately to my request for an estimate for roofing issues I was having. He came out and took pictures of the roof where the issues were happening. His bid was very fair so I hired him to do the job. The following day he came out and dropped of the materials and equipment that he would need for the job. The next day, Roger & his crew of Donnie, his wife Hannah and Jason, showed up first thing in the morning. They worked all day, even through a slight rainfall, until the job was completed by late afternoon. They left the job as clean as it was when they arrived in the morning. Very professional and detail oriented, I would recommend Travis Roofing & Guttering to anyone in need of their services.

Travis roofing put a new roof on my home in 2016. Last night I saw a leak in one of my rooms. I immediate called and told them my roof is leaking. Travis told me he would have someone over the next day even though they were on the coast because of hurricane Florance
. They were on their way to my home when I realized my toilet had leaked upstairs causing the leak on my ceiling .it had absolutely nothing to with my roof. I am so glad that now I know I can call them and they make me a priority.

Mr Travis contacted me, came out to my home, evaluated and repaired my roof in one afternoon. I have been trying for over a year to get someone that I could afford and could work with our schedules. We will definitely be looking forward to doing more business with him in the future. Thank you so much! You have been a major blessing for us!

called mr travis for an estimate, was very prompt in coming out. he came out one day after i called an looked the roof over. he gave me the estimate an although we didnt choose him to do the job. unlike other roofers we called, mr travis did show up an give an estimate an was on time. most of the other roofers didnt show or were late in coming..as most of you know in dealing with roofers, most ARE unreliable as the weather..
