Travelodge by Wyndham Truth or Consequences

This Travelodge in T or C, NM is a hidden gem. It is convenient to the interstate, Walmart, McDonalds, and adjacent to a great diner. The room was spacious and recently updated. The room was clean and grounds (motel) were pretty clean. It was a great value and very nice stay.

5 stars for an Old style motel with modern updates, the room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable with mattress protectors. (The pillows did not have protectors but were clean and new). The room had a microwave and refrigerator which were not listed on the website amenities. Big flat screen tv and wifi. The staff accommodated an early check in which was very appreciated. The price seemed a little high but understandable with today’s economic issues.

The room was clean,the front desk check in clerk was awesome...great customer service. First time staying at this lodge but it was a good experience felt like home. Thank you!

Ein Motel, mit sehr moderner Einrichtung. Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt, die Betten waren bequem. Der Stausee Elephant Butte, die Innenstadt von T or C und mehrere Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten sind nach kurzer Fahrt zu erreichen. Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es für das Frühstück, wo es kein warmes Essen gab, sondern nur Fertig-Burritos, die man sich erwärmen konnte und kalte Speisen. Ansonsten aber alles prima, kommen gerne wieder, wenn man hier nochmal hin kommen sollte.

Room was very nice, accept pets and can walk to restaurant Johnny B, which had great service and good food.

The person who checked us in was nice. The room's carpet was old, but the bathroom looked recently renovated. Our room had a TV, phone, fridge (freezer within had a door), microwave, coffee maker, clock, hairdryer, and the softest beds so far on our trip. It was a little pricey for a Monday night in the area compared to other places we stayed. The breakfast consisted of cereal, pancakes, yogurt, and juice.

This is an older hotel but has been updated. Very clean and well maintained. Bed was very firm but comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Park outside your room, very clean with comfortable beds. Room had lots of lights and many outlets in convenient places. Staff very nice. The breakfast bar was nice as well. Would stay here again for sure.

Victor, the manager is super friendly and accommodating. We felt welcome with our 2 dogs and overall the stay was very pleasant. Would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Within the last two years, I have stayed at the T or C New Mexico Travelodge approximately 4 times. The rooms have always been clean and inviting and the beds are comfortable. Thank you very much for having a fine place to stay.

For a very budget hotel, this place wasn't bad. It was easily accessible right off the highway, plenty of parking, and the price was right. Only stayed for one night and while the bed wasn't terribly comfortable, the AC worked well enough to keep the room comfortable and everything seemed fairly clean. The bathroom could stand to be updated but otherwise it was clean, and no funky or musty smell when it got humid for a shower which was nice. Things weren't too noisy. The front desk people were polite as well. The only issue was a noisy vent in the bathroom which I just left switched off so no problem. Good place for a quick stop

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The bed was good and the a/c worked well. My only complaint would be the flood lights that shine right across the room so you never have a totally dark space. Our dogs were with us and there is a small area to use for them on leash. That area is just sand which can be extremely hot but we found a dog park a few miles away with some grass. It had 3 fenced areas.

We have stayed here several times and it never fails to impress us. They continue to improve the quality of this motel and the owners are very accommodating and friendly.

Clean, modest motel that offers self-serve breakfast. Quiet convenient location and easy to find. We were able to park directly in front of our room. They are across the street from a good Mexican restaurant and next door to Walmart, if you forgot to pack something.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It had easy access from I25 and the staff was kind and competent:)
It also had a very cool automatic pancake machine!

The biggest problem I have is the toilets. I don't know what this tiny toilet fad in motels is now but most of us prefer a standard toilet and those of us with disabilities absolutely need one. I asked for a disabled room. Wasn't told there wasn't one and ended up with a beautiful standard room with...you guessed it. a toilet made for toddlers

The rooms were great two bed were comfortable and the ac unit legit. Now I'm not gonna talk down on the breakfasts you pay for what you get so it is only fair. Breakfast is basic mini pancakes and basic beverages and cereal, self cook burritos. I don't have anything negative to say. This is a pleasant place to stay, if you're on a personal trip.

Im traveling over different places in New Mexico.||I stopped in this hotel for 2 night when I travel from White Sands to Chaco culture national park. ||Good location. ||Very clean and Nice place with friendly staff. I can recommend this place for everyone. ||Dog friendly

Very polite and informative staff, looks like it is locally owned and operated which was great. Rooms were fairly quiet based on proximity to the main road and the highway. Breakfast is fine, the regular light breakfast fare for hotels like this with healthy options and some little microwave burritos that were good. There is a restaurant that sounded tasty right next door but we went further down the road. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean, good refrigerator and microwave, super soft beds. This seemed like the best bang for our buck in Truth or consequences.

Old school motel with a modern feel. The rooms were modern and clean. Mini frig., micro, coffee machine. Bathroom were not small. Our room had to vanities. Blow dryer available. The room is very roomy. Pillows and bed are very comfortable. Very large flat screen TV. Lament wood floors. Continental breakfast: cereal, toast, yogurt, burritos, pancakes, juices, coffee, snacks. Simple..just right. Very clean. Walking distance to Walmart and a popular local restaurant( food was delicious). The owners are very, very helpful and super polite. DOG FRIENDLY was a plus.

Two sinks available with one in the toilet and shower area and one outside of it with very bright lights. It was quiet at night. The two queen beds were comfortable. The refrigerator was large. Able to freeze our large ice packs. Also included a microwave, large television, and coffee maker, although we did not use it. Soap and shampoo provided. The breakfast included push button pancakes, yogurt, instant oatmeal, El Monterey egg, sausage and cheese burritos, coffee (half and half and creamer), tea, cocoa, juices (many choices), bananas, cereal (3 choices), chocolate rice krispie treats, packaged cinnamon rolls, nutella, kinder candy, and packaged oatmeal cookies with marshmallow filling, Rooms are a bit dated and partially remodeled, but it felt taken care of by the family. Staff is always available. Victor and Nitta were very polite, courteous, and friendly. It felt like you stayed at your Aunt and Uncle's place overnight. Great for an overnight stay as we passed through.

Room have hard floors, i rather have that over a dirty carpet. The breakfast is frozen burritos. And the normal cold stuff. Nothing special. I do feel like the room price is still too much for a Wyndham. But again it’s a tourist town. You can stay at some better places in town for the same price.

The staff is very polite. The room is clean. The breakfast area is good. What I like BEST is the Windham places I have been at lately want to charge a big deposit in addition to the room price. This is obnoxious to me as I now have to manage it and worry if they will return it in a timely manner. I can’t stand it. This location did NOT do that . They also gave me a printed paper receipt on check in ! No one wants to do this anymore. It is like “sign here.. then they snatch it away before I can look at it.. “. I then wonder how many fees will be tacked on when I get my statement. These people are terrific ❤️ No hidden fees

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, ID rate feeling safe an 8, cleanliness a 9, breakfast a 7. Over all I would definately stay again: comfortable bed, big room, well maintained older motel.

Room was clean but the floor felt like dusty. Not sure why (they have wooden floor not carpeted). kinda of an old building, exterior looks very old but inside the room is not that old but you will see old fittings. They could renovate the building to make it more attractive. Price is not very low compared to other hotels. For breakfast there were bananas, cereal and very light items. Not very impressive.
Bed is so comfortable, clean beddings. I won’t complain.

The room was very clean and the ADA equipment was terrific! There are 3 grab bars in the bath/shower and one very long one by the toilet. They made some recent renovations that are very attractive. Also, every room is on the first floor. There was very good lighting interior parking lot. Their cable had lots of channels! Thanks

The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a decent table and nice new big TVs showers are nice and hot with massaging water and stay there every time I go through

This is a diamond in the rough. This motel is very clean and the owners work hard at updating and keeping the rooms, A1.
I had a 50" TV and a bed that had a wonderful mattress. The breakfast was adequate and everything was fresh and the dinning area was very clean .

This property exceeds all expectation of a budget motel. Clean, comfortable, great amenities, excellent staff. They really have it all. Thanks for a great stay.

For this location I was delighted by the clean comfortable room, very polite service and variety of breakfast options all for a fair price. Great experience!

Americana 1-story flat roof motel with drive-up rooms. This motel is very price competitive (under $100). It’s clean, comfortable beds, cable TV, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, a clean working shower and toilet. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Walmart is within walking distance and a restaurant adjacent to the motel that opens early for breakfast but closes at 4pm (not sure what that’s all about). If you want a decent breakfast, opt for the restaurant because the motel breakfast is mediocre. I didn’t use the Wi-Fi (so I’m no help there). Good value, I would stay again.

Kind of showing it's age but clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a limited breakfast to start you off. Far from downtown, not walking distance. Price was reasonable and the area was quiet. There is a Walmart across the street and a gas station nearby as well as a McDonalds.

Much nicer than expected. Rooms were clean. Really good water pressure. Area felt pretty safe. They had free breakfast with microwave burritos, bananas, cereal, toast, and yogurt.

Dog friendly. Pet fee was $20.

Clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Perfect for a quick overnight. The shower was hot and the water pressure amazing. Felt relaxed and ready to hit the road again after a restful sleep. Felt safe here as well.

Nice cozy rooms with lots of upgrades inside the room. Close to highway and hot springs, elephant Butte.

Fresh hot breakfast served in the morning from 6. Kids loved it and appreciated the friendly staff.

Very clean and super friendly staff. Conveniently located next to a walmart in several places to eat. Very quiet atmosphere with an area to walk your pets. Would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Room was very clean and well maintained. Great water pressure and heat. Staff is absolutely phenomenal. They also still serve breakfast! I hope to stay again in my future travels. The only thing I would say needs any improvement is wifi speed but that is probably just due to the secluded area not real issue though. Thank you for the clean room!

VERY clean and cozy rooms and a well lit parking lot. Excellent service all around! The owners are so friendly and kind. Breakfast is simple but good. This place is lacking nothing. Great stay for my husband and I and our 4 children.

This is an old school "park at the door" motel. Great if you have a lot to unload during your stay - which is what we wanted. Helpful check-in staff (owner I think). Internet and cable worked well.
Mini fridge and microwave for convenience. We did not eat the hotel breakfast. The room was clean - furnishings dated but functional.
During our stay the property was occupied by many construction/road crew customers. They were for the most part quiet and respectful however they get up EARLY to head to work (5am) and there would be no way to sleep through all the truck starting, doors opening and closing and conversations in the parking lot. Luckily, we were getting an early start ourselves so not an issue for us. You may want to ask about this before booking. Also - they have BRIGHT security lights in the parking lot in front of the rooms. Great for security, but hard to get the room dark.

2 dozen pesky flies in the room. Room service leaves door open to clean. Room is clean. Nothing fancy and whole place could use an upgrade. Weak breakfast. Okay for a short stay.
