Like many of the other reviews we are so very happy with Gilmer and his crew. They went above and beyond. We had a 170 foot tree fall on our house during the bomb cyclone. Gilmer and his team cut up the fallen tree and removed it from the yard, they repaired the damage to the roof and gutters and they did an excellent job. That cut down another 170 foot tree that has died and was a threat to fall on our house at some point as well. We will have them back for other work on our house.

Wow, Gilmer and Mike went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me. After a cyclone caused a huge tree hit my home, they waited for hours as city teams cleared the road to my house. They even hopped out of their truck to help clear the roads so neighbors could access the neighborhood. Once they arrived they were capable and smart and knew how to fix all the problems. They even let me borrow their chainsaw for a week so I could cut up the fallen tree!

We had originally had a different company that we had come do a bid.but there seem like they couldn't answer the concerns we had with the siding of the garage. And the price seemed kind of high for the job. My wife co worker had recommended touchstone roofing and siding .so we had Gilmer come out and do a bid. He answered my concerns and questions had. The crew did a fantastic job and in a timely manor. I recommended them for any job. You wouldn't be disappointed by any means.

Gilmer and his crew at Touchstone General Contractors are amazing…they are honest and trustworthy and kind and extremely professional and outstanding at what they do…and they do nearly everything. Gilmer basically rebuilt my mother’s home for me after she passed when had the enormous job of getting her home ready for market…

Allow me to give a list of what was done by GIlmer:

painted inside and out
tiled the floors
installed new countertops, kitchen and 2 bathrooms
totally redid the fireplace making it the focal point of the family rm
put in a new breaker box
replaced all plugs and outlets to code inside and out
replaced with all new ceiling lights
installed a new beautiful tile backsplash in kitchen
hung three gorgeous mirrors in bathrooms
installed new wood baseboards and moldings and painted them
installed new roof
installed new gutters
repaired chimney
refurbished awning like new
put in a new cement slab to repair walkway
installed new fence on entire property
refurbished kitchen cabinets

installed new ceiling light/fans in bathrooms and laundry
repaired damage to walls in garage
stained all the new fence

Gilmer and his crew brought my mom’s house of 40 years into 2024…and it sold in 6 days. Not bad for a 2 bedroom house in a 3 bedroom world. Gilmer and his team did a fantastic job with repairs to our (new) roof after another contractor did subpar work. The communication was what really made us comfortable going with Touchstone. They were so honest and professional that we talked them into doing some work for our kitchen, too! With both jobs, they left the space clean every night. We've got plans to hire them again.

The entire crew was always friendly, respectful, communicative, and worked with integrity. The level of skill and professionalism are unmatched! Touchstone has been absolutely amazing! I've been using this company for years and they have done great work every time. This summer, we were putting our house the market and they did an incredible job of getting it ready. Roofing, siding, decking, stucco, painting and more. Gilmer and his crew did outstanding work, in a short amount of time at a reasonable price. Hard to ask for anything more.

Just had my entire roof replaced and the guys did a great job. They also replaced several pieces of rotten roof panels at no extra charge beyond parts. The new shingles and vents look great. They also did a great job cleaning up after the work was complete. 100% recommend!!
