We got the name of this company from a co-worker and friend who has used them 2 times for her homes. We cannot be more grateful for the referral. From the moment of the honest evaluation and estimate (and I have to say very prompt service from the time of inquiry to evaluation!) to the actual work, the staff was upfront regarding costs and patient with us as we had so many questions regarding the type of roof we wanted post hurricane damage... The workers were amazing, prompt, and extremely diligent with their cleanup. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Tip Top Roofing. I will gladly refer them to anyone needing a new roof. I look in awe at how beautiful our roof, our home looks now! Thank you Tip Top for the amazing work!

I needed a complete reconstruction of my roof. This included a new plywood roof deck overlayed on the existing deck, which dated back to 1935, plus a synthetic felt underlayment, and new Owings Corning Williamsburg Gray Architectural shingles. During their inspection, Tip-Top also discovered that a fair number of my rafters under the eaves were rotten and that this had been concealed by a paint job five years ago. The results were perfect. Ronnie is a straight shooter and was a pleasure to work with. Tip-Top's crew operated like a well-oiled machine--punctual, disciplined, efficient, and extraordinarily hard working. I could not recommend them more highly.

This company installed the roof on our new build home in 2023 in French Quarter Creek. However, the roof is not up to code, which is a 2021 code, and now they are refusing to come out and correct the issue. Deceitful and despicable.

Update: Get bent, you know the codes as well as D R Horton and are equally as guilty especially since you refuse to fix it. You should be ashamed.

Ronnie from Tip Top Roofing was great. He came to assess some storm damage and was INCREDIBLY HONEST about jobs that I could complete myself to save money vs jobs that we should have them or another professional complete. His main concern was clearly making sure that we had our roof fixed correctly and inexpensively and made no attempt to sell us anything beyond what the roof actually needed. RARE THESE DAYS!

Came out quick. Gave us a fair price for quality products and got our old roof off and new one installed in two days. Friendly and professional. Couldn’t be happier with this company.

Tip comes out quick. Although have a leak needing fixed. Still waiting on the tech to come back out. It was fixed a few weeks ago. I know they are always busy.

My son and I contacted Tip Top Roofing in early November 2023 along with three other roofing companies to get an estimate on replacing three pipe boots that were leaking on my roof. In addition, we had an old furnace vent removed as well. Ronnie arrived at my house went on my roof and took pictures to show me what needed to be fixed. We hired Tip Top Roofing to complete the work and they did an excellent job! We have had two severe storms in the Cayce area and my roof has not leaked one time. I would certainly recommend Tip Top Roofing to any of my neighbors and family. They provided quality work at a reasonable price. I will certainly use this company in the future.

This company replaced a metal roof with exposed fasteners on my detached garage. After the work was initially completed, I noticed improper installation of the ridge cap, fasteners, damage to personal property, and several other issues. I brought this up with them and the owner met me out at my house, agreed that there was an issue and said they would make it right. After repairs were completed, the ridge cap was fixed, personal property replaced, but the fasteners still needed attention and a few other negligible issue were ignored as well as more damage to personal property. An invoice was sent to me without follow up to see if the issues had been resolved. It then rained, and I had dozens of areas on the interior that water was seeping though.
In the end the owner offered to make more repairs (which I refused), then agreed to lower the price by about %25 to account for the repairs I would have to make myself.

I do not recommend this company for metal roofing.

yesterday I had a great experience with modern roofing, they came and looked at my roof inside and out, and really helped and gave good information. Adam was especially kind and understanding and very respectful

The service and quality was great and the price was affordable. I will definitely use them for any further needs.

From start to finish the company was top-notch. Ronnie was on time for roof inspection and estimate was right around what I was hoping for.The installers showed up on time, had the work completed in a timely fashion and did a great job cleaning up afterwards.

They were not friendly when they arrived at my property. They didn't even confirm that I had approved their visit. They broke my Easter lillies and didn't even offer to pay for them. They were not the least interested in explaining what damages they found or what they were going to do.

Both Rebecca in the Office and Ron who initially reviewed our roof needs gave timely and accurate information.

**Tip Top is exactly as the name says! Our screen porch had some damage from a previous contractor job (not Tip Top) causing inside leaking which required the entire 12w X 36L (420 sq ft) roof to be replaced. We contacted Tip Top on Thursday to schedule a date for quote. It being Summer with storms regularly to our surprise we had a very professional and knowledgeable representative come out the SAME DAY on THURSDAY! The quote given was reasonable for the job (Bitumen Roll Roof & labor) the following Wednesday our new roof was completed!!

We are extremely happy with the work crew of Tip-Top Roofing who did an outstanding job. It was a quick response from Ashley from obtaining a reasonable estimate, to starting the job on time as promised and sending a hardworking crew to get the job done expertly. The crew worked on our roof for 2 days and each day the crew made sure to cover up the landscaping and clean up the yard thoroughly, picking up every bit of debris before leaving. The pictures sent to us from every top angle of our roof from start to finish looked fantastic. Began the process for a roof replacement. Had an estimate the next day. Came out within a week and had the roof done within two days. (understandable given how much of the deck needed replaced) Roof looks great, excellent job cleaning up debris, very hard working crew. Would recommend for roofing services.

It was obvious they are more interested in quantity or jobs vs quality of work. The person who came to do the repairs was clearly under pressure to hurry up and get to the next job. The initial quote included a drip edge and despite 2 requests to honor the original agreement I was told it is not needed and that it would be a sharpe edge. Others I spoke to said tor flashing could be bent to not be sharpe. The original siding had a drip edge and now it looks unfinished. It will be years before the water damage appears and so I won’t be able to get them to care.. Even with less material (aka no drip edge) the final cost was $1000 more than quoted. Also, there is still damaged siding that a quality minded person would have seen and fixed even if the home owner failed to point it out. S, now as we prepare to paint, more siding will need to be repaired. I wonders why they were so quick to come and quote the job when many others were booked for months.

Very professional workers. Workers did a good job on my roof. They cleaned all debris from around my yard. The company representative came out to inspect my roof, and gave his assessment of the cost to repair the roof, and he was very timely in scheduling the repairs. I highly recommend this company.

We called out Tip Top just under a year ago to fix a minor roof leak. I was initially impressed by their fast response, but their repair person just started tearing off shingles to find the leak. I wondered if this was even necessary-- and I still wonder now. The guy who performed the repair just drove off when he was 'finished,' didn't even speak to us.

At the time I reported this to the company, as well as a concern over the appearance of the repair. It looked lumpy and messy. I'm no expert, but the shingles didn't appear to be properly installed. I was assured over the phone that what I was seeing was common with replaced shingles and they would settle down given time and some hot sunny days. It didn't. But it was the middle of the pandemic and I dropped it because the leak seemed to be resolved, even if it looked awful.

A year later a leak appeared under the series of shingles that Tip Top had replaced, just a bit higher than the original leak. Since I had doubts about the job Tip Top had done, we called another company to assess the problem. I was told that the old shingles were never properly sealed back down, and that in a high wind or hard rain they could just blow up and water could leak through.

I see reading the most recent reviews that I am not the only person who has had to pay for twice over for the bad job done by Tip Top, and for the EXACT.SAME.ISSUE. How do you have a roof repair person who just never seals the shingles, leaves things looking awful, and then when the customer complains you treat them like they are the one with a problem? I wish now we had gotten the second opinion as soon as we suspected something was wrong. So now we are out double money because the second company had to redo the entire job, and now we have to repaint our ceiling again.

Thanks for nothing. It's tempting to take TipTop to small claims court over this and I am debating over whether I value my time or money more. Folks who are reading this review can save yourselves the headache by just avoiding this company to begin with.

They did such an amazing service. I was very well pleased, with their service. My roof looks so much better.

We were recommended by our homeowner's insurance to TipTop Roofing and I am so glad; they were so professional on the phone, very honest and forthright. Their pricing was very fair and they did a wonderful job on the house. Once the job was complete and everything was cleaned up, the yard was immaculate. These folks are GREAT. Ashley (the owner) and Ronnie (her brother) bent over backwards to answer all my questions and their crew replaced my entire roof and porch flat roof and their work was impeccable. Polite folks and professional job. No corners cut. Cleaned everything up. Like they were never here! Highly recommend Tip Top roofing.

We'd gotten quotes from other roofers for a new roof first. We learned about Tip-Top roofers from a coworker. The cost was reasonable and we decided to go with them instead. They did an excellent job installing our beautiful new "cottage red" shingles and the new roof looks great! We will definitely recommend this company!
