We ordered textured metal roofing. We were charged for textured metal roofing but received non textured metal roofing. We hired a roofer to put it up. He couldn’t get to it for a few months. He did not know we ordered textured metal. We went on vacation and our roofing guy had it completed by the time we arrived home. Great right! Well TIN MAN delivered smooth texture roofing which is cheaper than the textured. Our roofing man called him 3-4 times a week for a month and there was always an excuse to not talk to him about it. I went down there several times to talk to the owner about it. Always an excuse. He’s sick, he’s on vacation, he’s out of town etc. not once did they try to get back with us about refunding the difference. Last time I went in there the guy at the counter said sue us. What a crappy way to treat paying customers. So I’m gonna have to sue the DISHONEST SWINDLER.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS, THEY ARE REAL! Any company under 4.5 stars is not good, that's why this company has a 4.1 rating. I never write reviews but I had to give this company 0-1 stars, they are not good people. I haven't had someone make me feel like I'm a criminal since Traitor Joe's banned me from shopping there because I quit over not wanting to get the covid Maxine. I ordered 16 panels from them and everything was fine. I ordered 2 more because I needed them to finish my job, they looked fine when I left but when I got home to use them I realized they were shorter than the rest of the panels I bought. I called and let them know they were short, and asked if I could bring them back and get the right size. They said that their machine that cuts the panels has never been wrong(because when has a machine or the person using it ever made an error), and that they would need the little piece of paper that comes attached to the panels to see what it says. Well who would keep a small paper attached to the panels? I had the invoice and the receipt but they said that wasn't good enough. Sounds like a flawed system that they may want to consider changing, instead of not taking care of their customers and accusing them of being liars and criminals. Like I said these are not the kind of people you want to do business with, and I'm just another example of how they treat their customers. I know their business practices will eventually take care of themselves, but don't say the people that wrote these honest reviews didn't warn you all!
Good luck getting a quote on any thing. Go in person talk about the quote you need, wait a week to be called, call them to check, they have no idea, take info over the phone, then wait days again, for them maybe to remember you. Call to have the stuff sent to your email, they say we will do that now, I’m on day 3 of waiting for that. This last quote looks like somebody just guessed and throwing crazy numbers out. IF YOU ARE SELF EMPLOYED YOU WILL LOSE MONEY WAITING AROUND ON TIN MAN.
