I got a couple of Pro Via fiberglass exterior doors(along with storm doors) from Widow Source. I really like them. Gary and his employees did a great job. I plan to get new windows from them next.

Used them twice now. First time was 8 windows while in the middle of selling a home they got in touch with the new owners after the fact and installed the windows pricing was affordable compared to Pella and Renewal and ive drove back by and the new windows look good, 2nd time was screen door with a pet door only got one estimate and it was from the window source so i cant compare pricing but the door/install work is quality. Ive been a customer twice now and ill be a customer again 10/10 recommend giving the window source a call if your shopping for windows.

We can't say enough great things about The Window Source. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish (and even after...see below). We worked mostly with Peyton but also got to meet Pierce and Gary, all of whom were friendly, helpful and professional. The installation team was also great, and they did fast and quality work, notably with an especially tricky three-window replacement of an old door/window grouping in our family room. We appreciated their professionalism but also the absence of any hard sell tactics with the initial estimate. We had very old windows replaced, many of which would no longer open. Now we have beautiful windows that are functional, and we've already enjoyed being able to have fresh air throughout our home now that the temps have cooled down again. Peyton even cheerfully returned to the house to fix a tiny spot of caulk (which may have been caused by some power washing unrelated to the window installation), seemingly within hours if not minutes of being notified of the issue. It's hard to find quality companies that do such fantastic work at fair prices these days. We highly recommend them to anyone needing new windows. We had 9 windows replaced, 5 upstairs and 5 basement. Alistair and Igor were incredibly fast, efficient, polite and considerate of me working from home. At the final walk through they displayed an in depth knowledge of the window replacement process, showed me all the work they did to replace the rotted wood and sill, and were out in just a few hours.

After getting many estimates, I was referred to the window source of Kansas. They were by far the lowest estimate I received. Another company gave me an estimate of 5x what they charged me. They were very responsive to my phone calls and answered any questions I had. The salesman was not pushy like the others and was super friendly. I had 6 windows removed and replaced within 6 hours and the quality of the product and install was wonderful.

Spoke with Gary on a Tuesday Gary was here on a Wednesday with an estimate. By Saturday morning Gary and Mike were both here to replace a storm door and screen door. In preparing my house for sale, I needed a small basement window replaced. With only two weeks left before listing my home for sale, I called around for quotes; most window businesses would not even consider replacing a single window (not worth their time, or had a 10-window minimum for service). I submitted an online request to The Window Source for a quote. Gary called me back promptly, took my information, and set up an appointment to quote the job. He took measurements, checked to see if they had that size in stock (they did) and asked how soon I needed it done. Of course I needed it ASAP, so he scheduled an installation appointment for early the next week. Turns out, his crew was already booked for a big job, so Gary showed up by himself and quickly and efficiently installed a beautiful, economical hopper window for me. After researching and speaking to four different window companies, I decided to purchase windows from The Window Source of Kansas. I have a 90+ year old home so needed all 18 windows replaced. Gary, of Window Source, provided information on their product, measured the windows, and gave me a price. He patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. We discussed the best choice for the house. He did not try to sell me the most expensive windows.
He told me he was not a pressure salesman and would not call to convince me to buy so If I decided on their company, I could give them a call. He also made an extra trip back to share the information when a friend, who knew more about windows than I, was in town. We both felt comfortable with him and appreciated his honesty.
When the windows arrived, Mike and his team came to install them. It took two days but the guys worked steadily the whole time. They were respectful of people and property. They cleaned up as they put in the windows. I had also purchased some storm doors and they installed the doors for me.

We had older triple pane windows that were no longer air tight and because every pane had to be removed individually to be cleaned, it just became harder and harder to have nice looking windows. After researching several window replacement companies, we asked Gary from The Window Source of Kansas to talk with us. He gave us information about our options for energy efficiency (which was important to us) and information on the different looks we could have with new windows. All our questions were answered in that first meeting, no high pressure sales pitch, just a great conversation. He took measurements and the next day had an estimate ready for us. Prices were reasonable and we ordered the windows that day.
The pandemic has affected so much of the US economy and manufacturing and the windows were no exception. Although Gary ordered the windows quickly, the company that manufactures them was slow in getting the order ready. Gary kept us informed throughout the delay and we were all very relieved when the windows arrived.
The process of having the windows installed was great. The installer, Mike, was friendly, professional, and had the old windows out and the new ones in in a day and a half. I was also amazed that the new windows fit exactly in the hole left by the old one - which means the measurements Gary took on that first visit to our home were spot on. The finishing touches just make these new windows seem like they have always been part of the house. The carefully matched the trim colors to our house colors so that the whole affect is seamless. After the windows were installed, Mike took the time to show me how to open, shut and clean the windows.
The entire experience - from initial conversations to the clean up - was great, even with the manufacturing snag. I highly recommend The Window Source.

We were looking for windows for our home. None of the windows in our house opened and our energy bills were atrocious. Our project also included several odd shaped and extra large windows above our front door. We received several quotes. It was a no-brainer to go with The Window Source of Kansas. Gary was so friendly and courteous. He explained our options in detail, the benefits of each type of window and the cost difference. The quote was so much better than we thought and even though we didn't think we would install windows until next year based on our previous quotes, we felt that we could make it happen this year with the reasonable amount Gary quoted us.

When they did the work they were very careful in the installation, treated our home as if it was their own, and they were diligent in cleaning up all debris. It was amazing how quickly they were able to replace all the windows in our home. Gary walked us through at the end and made sure we were happy with the end result.

Even after the installation, they were responsive. Any concerns we have had were addressed right away, even though they had to drive several hours to do so. We needed extra caulk on one window, but Gary spent the time to examine and add additional caulk to every window on our home. After about a month, we noticed the seal on one of the windows was curling up and made opening the window difficult. Gary came back and replaced this as well. That is service above and beyond.

We are thrilled with the service we received. Our energy bills are better, the look of our home has improved, and the difference in the light quality in the house is phenomenal. If you need any of the services they provide we highly recommend The Window Source of Kansas.

I can’t say enough about Window Source! But I shall try:

1. Gary was NOT a salesman*. I repeat, not … a … salesman. By the time I got to Window Source I was ready to throw in the towel due to a slew of strategic salesmen who wore me out. He is a knowledgeable, reasonable and considerate businessman who knows his stuff. BRAVO!
2. The prices are REASONABLE … and don’t include the “buy today and save” shtick that every other window company tried to pressure me into. The quality was up to par on all the little things the competitors claimed other window companies “did not do” or account for in their products. My requirements on quality were ALL checked off, and my prices were estimated fairly, itemized. With the other companies I would have sacrificed to do PART of my house, although I needed them all done. I was able to do the full job without breaking my single mother salary.
3. He helped me look at all the variables without pushing an up-sell.
4. The warrantee and variables essentially MATCH most of the other companies I looked at - as much as they tout what the offer and how “exclusive” it was … Window Source was to the point and clear - AND did not bad-mouth their competition - unlike the aforementioned salesmen.
5. Financing options were BROAD and easy to understand through their people. Otherwise financing was VERY limited elsewhere. Those options set those companies to get the most money out of you in the long (or short) run.
6. My windows came in faster than expected
7. The crew was EXCEPTIONAL and quick and respectful. THEY WORKED IN THE RAIN!! and didn't get a drop in my house. 14 windows installed in 7 hours - WOW. The precision and knowledge of Mike was unmistakable as well as Mario’s work ethic - and they were TRULY pleasant to watch and respected my property.
8. Gary walked me through everything in the end … and made a few touch-ups in my presence as we discussed things. It’s the little things that make the difference (and in this case, EVERYTHING that added up.

EVERY home project has hiccups - if there were any I only noticed one - which the guys were on top of from the get-go.

I will likely recommend this company well into my old age - as I hold the highest respect for reputable businesses who genuinely know the meaning of customer service. They’ve made my top 5 businesses of all time. Thanks gentleman!

We had the pleasure of working with Gary for new windows in our Topeka Condo. We had called a competitor who came by looked at the windows, never measured and then provided a verbal quote of 12k. This is not a small company but I won't mention names. We then called Gary. He came to the condo and met with my daughter, he explained everything to her, took complete measurements and produced a quote of around 4k. I knew from my research that the windows alone were going to be costing me around 2k for quality windows. Then the installation. We contracted with Gary to do the job. This was just prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. We paid him the deposit for the windows. Well of course, then as one would say everything hit the fan with Covid-19. My pay was cut by 40% and so we were just banking it would take a while to get the windows from the supplier.. Well, as luck would have it, the next week Gary called me and said he had the windows and was ready to install. Wow... With my current pay situation, my wife and I hesitated on spending the last of the 2k, just in case we needed it to put food on the table. Gary was fully understanding, cooperative and worked with us. He simply said..... Give me a call when you feel confident to move forward with the installation! Wow... As things progressed my wife and I were making ends meet, so we called Gary to get the windows installed. We watched his crew arrive through the Ring camera (Since we were in Colorado and had mailed Gary the keys) and get the windows installed. A few days later Gary himself, inspected the job at the condo. Only after that inspection did Gary call me and tell me the job was completed. My daughter recently went back to the condo and she facetimed us and showed us the installation. We couldn't be happier with anything.

I searched for replacement window companies and had some estimates done. I hit the big box stores and some of the bigger known window replacement companies around. I found The Window Source of Kansas and decided to have them quote as well. Gary came out and showed me the demo window and explained the features. After considering all option we decided to go with the window source.

Reasons for choosing them over the competition and why we're happy with the decision: 1. No pressure. I had companies that would not come out unless "All household decision makers were there" and "Extra discount if you sign that day". I personally think that pressure type of sales is bad business. 2. They worked with our schedule and made sure everything thing was fitted, finished and cleaned properly. 4. The final out come. We recently had the pleasure of working with Gary Stephens from the bidding process thru installation of 14 replacement windows. We purchased the Series 6000 double hung with one large picture window. We are extremely happy with the product and the quality of the installation. Gary and his crew were wonderful to work with, answering any questions we had. I would recommend them to anyone.

Replacing just two windows is not a huge money maker, at least that's my guess after many of the "big name" companies failed to respond to my request for an estimate. Gary Stephens, at The Window Source, came from Manhattan to Topeka to look at my rotting windows and gave me a good price. Because of the condition of my old windows, this turned out to be a big job not only because of the old windows, but because Gary did the whole job thoroughly, conscientiously and with impressive expertise. I expect this is how he works on his own house or the house of anyone else who hires him. Are we pleased with his work? I guess we'll decide for sure this fall . . . after the next six windows we're ordering are installed!
