Sean and crew replace a roof on my enclosed porch. The space was not built to code so there was a bit of cleaning up to do prior to replacing the roof. The job was done in a day and looks great. I would highly recommend their services.

Within less than four hours of my call to The Roofing Group, I had a comprehensive proposal in my hand. This type of responsiveness is most impressive. Even more impressive was the proposal itself. It was a complete roofing system proposal including detailed itemization of the shingle options, the type of underlayment, venting system, work to be performed including property protection, removal of old roofing, removal of old vents, replacement of pipe boots, and installation of flashings and starter-strip. Sean, one of the owners, also offered gutter protection to address my leaf problem. All warranties were thoroughly explained. Offerings and prices were clearly provided in the proposal making it easy for me to understand what to expect. The Roofing Group proposal served as a benchmark by which other proposals could be evaluated. Within two days of my initial call to Sean, work began on my roof. The work was completed and the site was completely cleaned the next day. Perhaps most important is the service Sean provides. He thoroughly explained every aspect of the roofing system he was proposing making sure I understood exactly what to expect. Throughout the project, Sean was on-site frequently to make sure the work was progressing as expected and always making sure I was satisfied and had no unanswered questions or comments. With drone photos, Sean was able to show me the old roof and the new roof as work progressed. The Roofing Group provided me great value in that I received more for my money than I would have received in any of my other proposals. I called about getting an estimate on a repair and Sean was at my house the same day. Used a drone to take pictures of the roof and explained what he saw while showing me the pictures. We called him later that day and said we had the job. Had a couple of workers there that same evening and they were done within an hour or so. Cleaned up area and made sure we were satisfied. I contacted The Roofing Group after I found a leak in my roof, Sean was on vacation but he still called me back and headed my way to see what he could do. He found the problem in my roof, fixed it, explained and then showed me how the people who worked on my roof before I moved in did a poor job repairing it which really is what caused the leak.

We were needing to replace our old roof badly. I contacted The Roofing Group and had Sean come out. We had already had a couple of other roofing contractors give us bids. After Sean sat down and talked with my wife and myself, we felt like Sean was more knowledgeable and was offering more value than the other companies that had come out. We were not disappointed. We were behind on getting our roof replaced but Sean came out right away when I requested an estimate and was very flexible with our schedule which was greatly appreciated. Very professional, delivered fast and efficient. Great products and service.

We found water spots on the ceiling of our family room that I was able to trace back to a water leak in an area of the roof where a gutter is located that regularly overfills with leaves and debris; I knew that somehow the gutter overflow was responsible but wasn't sure exactly how the water was coming in, or if there was any wood/structure damage yet. Sean came out to inspect, and immediately found the problem to be that two of the gutters in the back of the house were installed incorrectly and pierced the roof shingles, thus making a track for the water to come in. He checked it out from the attic, and found no sign of wood damage...and gave me a very reasonable quote to check the gutters' installation, shorten them a bit and cap them off so the ends are not against the roof, and to replace some shingles. He also suggested reasonably-priced aluminum gutter shields for the gutters in the back of the house that we cannot safely reach to clean out ourselves to help prevent debris from filling them up. He brought a crew out on 4/27/16 to get the job done before expected rains start....they completed the work and completely cleaned up afterward. Last night, during a heavy rain, I could only hear the soft falling rain on the roof and the gentle trickle of water in the downspouts...no cascading waterfalls over the gutters, and in the morning NO water leak through the roof. Sean is friendly and professional and we will definitely use The Roofing Group for anything new that comes up.

To begin with, Sean really knows his craft and you can be assured of a very professional job. He will price/sell you exactly what you need, no inflated services. Our roof needed replacement and his crew was here on time and over two days replaced the roof, added a ridge vent (which I did not have before) and explained every procedure to our roof (adding a ice/water shield for example) as it was completed. Not only did I get a really nice looking roof, but I know exactly what was done and why. I would also recommend you go with the GAF shingle and supplement products, especially the 50 year shingle. It runs only a few dollars more than a 25 year 3-tab shingle but you get a far superior product and a lifetime warranty. Again, you want to trust your roof was done right? Look no further than The Roofing Group and Sean!
