I had utilized The Maui Handyman for a big fan electrical repair and new installation at the resort I work for and I have nothing but good things to say about Jonathan and his team. Wow…Maui Handyman was incredibly professional and awesome to work with. They aren’t overpriced and built a tv stand I needed for my new apartment in Kihei. They also helped me move a couch from town! They seemed to know how to do everything even with fixing my fan and light in my bedroom. Great team and overall everything was 5 stars no complaints.

We are a company in Kahului and got next day service for 2 hours of general repairs. Our handyman was excellent--polite, professional, tidy and just got on with his jobs. It was perfect for our small business.

Vanessa and Julian were really great to work with. Both of them were very kind, polite, and courteous. Julian was great at trouble shooting and addressing our Jalousie windows that were not working properly. They will definitely be our 'go-to' professionals for our property maintenance needs. Had them try to install an air conditioner, what a mistake that was!
First of all they tried to overcharge me, quoted me 2-3 hours @$95/hr. and for sure no more than 4 hours. 4 hours at $95/hr. is $380 before taxes. Got the invoice and it was for 6.75 hours! which is $641.25 before taxes. After a bunch of hassle, I paid them $475 before taxes but one should not have to go through the trouble of arguing over an invoice that was essentially agreed on. They said if it was going to be more they would call to discuss but I never received a call.

I that wasn't bad enough, I got a call from a guest telling me the air conditioner was falling out! Come to find out the unit was just sitting on the cement curb below it and it was NOT MOUNTED TO ANYTHING! So I'm really not sure what took so long.

Called Jonathan and told him about the problem, and he first tried to blame it on guests then when he seen pictures he said he had a handyman in the area he would send over to at least prop the unit up from the outside with some 2X4"s. Well, you guessed it, my guest waited around for the handyman to show up and he never came.

Save your money and the headaches DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Jonathon recently installed an incredible rain-water dual shower head in my master bathroom and I was so impressed! He was prompt, incredibly professional and maintained an acute sense of detail and quality. I greatly appreciated his attitude and high standard of excellence, and I am so incredibly excited to use my new and improved space! Jonathon not only is creative, but he is gifted in problem solving and has a strong sense of integrity. I know that when he gives his word, he will follow through and even follow up! Jonathon came and fixed my sliding bathroom door. He was in and out quickly and he left the area cleaner than it was before. Jonathon was very professional and personable and I recommend his service because he is trustworthy and efficient with his work.

I can speak from experience from a few different levels. I've known Jonathon since he was a kid. He has grown into a man of great character, honesty and integrity - not to mention multi-gifted - a rare combination and very hard to find these days. The years have taught me that when i find someone (or something) that works, stick with him!! He has been more than generous with his time by explaining to me what is needed to be done, and then completes the job in less time than expected. His prices are very fair and the quality of his work is second to none. He is easy to get to know and kind and has even taken the time to help me find information on my computer!
