Great job on repairs and customer service. I had a water loss and they were out the same day and had contracted repairs done within 1 week.

The team was respectful and honest. They showed up when the weather was bad and odd hours to accommodate us. I don't know many company's with this kind of integrity. Thanks for completing my house on time and better then expected. I never thought we would have a home this beautiful with the price you gave us.

Took them virtually a year to rebuild my house. Had people in and out of my house virtually the whole year almost daily their workers tore my roof off and put paper down and didn't secure it enough after they cut open the roof vents and the paper come off it rained all night long and ruined ceilings and floors and everything in my house had to have more stuff repaired than what needed to be to begin with then they tried to double bill the insurance company. went through two project managers and was on the third one when the house finally got finished.I would not recommend these people to work on your home for anything they switch contractors a couple times during this process for whatever the reason. took four times to paint my living room and get it right they had to replace my insulation twice in my upstairs attic and once in my downstairs attic where I never had a leak before and leaked on to my classic cars. had to have my gutters rehung and they threw away a lot of my gutter covers. broke the cover on my outside yard light then tried to hide it when questioned. They found the broken cover threw it out on the grass and left. they changed labor contractors a couple times on me during the process. Also, I would not recommend Landau group for any home repairs

I used this company for an insurance repair - basically a complete demolition and rebuild. House burned and was a total loss. This happened right before the pandemic and everything was shut down. Had issues with permits because no one was in the office, construction materials were hard to secure. Issues with the city and sewer. Austin the owner was at the front and center everyday working to get this secured and completed. He was always available by phone (even at weird hours of the night when a neighbor called us at our rental and said people were in the house). The are a great group of people and I would use this company again without hesitation! Yes, I recommend them fully!

Worst customer service of my life! High turn over of contractors. Rarely return phone calls! They didn’t finish my project and now it appears their number has been disconnected , they may have gone out of business. Not sure if they were extremely poorly managed or where scamming me! If they are still in business DON’T use

Used this company for an insurance repair after the first company the insurance company set up for us dumped us. Dealing with a major repair during the height of a pandemic was a nightmare. Major supply chain issues, people getting covid and every conceivable roadblock and problem caused a myriad of delays that were a nightmare for Landall and us. The owner, Austin, visited us often which made the ordeal bearable. Ultimately, the project was completed to our satisfaction.

The company was paid to install new insulation and remove old insulation and they left the old insulation under the house. We have contacted the company and they have yet to return our call. The kitchen floor was left slightly damaged. Floor wasn't properly covered. The original timeline that we were given for the wall to be replaced for the kitchen and the living room was extended by a month. As of today May 10th 2022 the issue has not been resolved and the work on our house originally started February 14th 2022, I was originally told that the job should be done by the beginning of March; however, they were not done until mid-april..

It took this company eight months to remodel a bathroom. We were told at one point during the construction that we would have no out of pocket cost and then were saddled with a $1,000 invoice after they were close to being done. They said the no out of pocket didn't include the insurance deductible. This would have been something that should have been stated when we were told their would be no out of pocket cost. They lied to the BBB and said we asked them to postpone working on the bathroom stating we had to have the house re-plumbed and requested they wait. This was absolutely not true. It only took a week to re-plumb the house and was finished months before they began working on the bathroom. We had glass doors that were installed terribly and only fixed when we brought it up. They showed up to do a final inspection without advising us the time of day they would be there and because of that we weren't home. They asked us to sign the final paperwork anyway. Light covers are not straight. They damaged two doors in the house by hitting them with materials. They painted in our front yard and ruined a rhododendron. They used a suitcase in my bedroom to put drinks on. They didn't cover the floors or anything else getting dust everywhere and didn't clean it up. They got paint on our floors that I had to scrape off. They changed the project manager towards the end and didn't notify us of it. A new person just started conversing with us with no introduction or explanation of the change. I would give them zero stars if I could. I'm absolutely disgusted that they lied to BBB to cover the fact that they overbooked themselves. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
