Went with That Place Home Inspections because of their many five star reviews and their ability to get us on their schedule fairly quickly. I am so glad that we did! I was not able to be present for the home inspection however the report provided was so user friendly and detailed that I am 100% confident we were taken care of. The report provided us with pictures of all of the issues that were found and was categorized so that we knew what needed to be fixed ASAP and what could be left alone for a while/monitored. They arrived on time and provided us with a written report the same day which included detailed pictures and videos when appropriate of any problems noted. Detailed descriptions of any issues noted with suggestions for fixes were made. Since we were 800+ miles away and unable to be present for the inspection John called us the same day as the inspection to go over the report, answer questions and provide more in depth explanations. Can not recommend Ronda and John enough! Their inspection on our (hopefully first) home was meticulous and well organized. They were always open to showing/ explaining various components of findings during the inspection, and they were very good about allowing us to ask plenty of questions or raise concerns. First, the owners are punctual and incredibly easy to schedule with. All booking/payment can be done online on their intuitive website. My latest home purchase was in disrepair and they braved the storm to get into all of the areas of the home. Their reports have an incredible amount of detail and are definitely going to help me in maintenance/repair decisions on my fixer upper. Bottom line: hire this company with no hesitation if you need expert opinions on your home purchase or sale.

We ended up backing out of the contract because of those issues and were able to save ourselves a lot of money and headaches in the future. These people go above and beyond. They saved me from buying a total money pit of a home. Some back story- Im trying to move back home after working out of state for the last 2 years. So I found a home online and was told it needed very little work, and was basically move in ready… long story short, it wasn’t even close.
