From booking to service Techstar was so professional. Charlie came to do our service and was incredibly considerate of our toddler & pets. Their pricing is super reasonable and the repairs seem to have worked perfectly.

Next day service in the midst of a summer heat wave was unexpected but the most pleasant surprise. The technician, Thomas, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. I’d call this company back anytime for future required service.

Jordan came very quickly to fix the air conditioning unit HVAC He was very friendly and very professional in his field. Thank you so much for coming to fix the air conditioning in my home, especially today, Sunday.

The wiring for my old thermostat was bad, they didn't know it until they tried the new thermostat. They had to order what they needed,thought they may have to go with a different type of thermostat. They made a temporary fix so I would have air-conditioning. They came back out, ran all new wiring, hooked up my thermostat, walked me through using it again. Stayed until he knew everything was working right. They are always happy to answer any questions, etc. They just dont treat you like a customer, they treat you like you are family. I highly recommend them.

Control wires on the outside AC were run over by lawn mower- no more cool air in some rough heat. Called Techstar and they were very responsive. Got a tech out same day I called. Went above and beyond as first time tech showed up the person still home worked night shift and wouldn't wake up to let tech in. Tech said they would circle back later. Finally got them in to diagnose and found out the older unit didn't have a fuse so the transformer was blown. After running to the store to get a replacement tech finally had AC back up and running. Just a really outstanding job all around with responsiveness, communication and extra effort to get us squared away all same day!

Techstar Mechanical Services is a very professional outfit. I placed a call on my AC unit in the evening and Technician Tom showed the next day. Diagnosed the problem and got it fixed with 1 hour. We signed a service contract with Techstar earlier this year based on the reviews we had read, and we are very glad we did. They are truly outstanding. Charlie has been here a couple of times servicing our unit and has done a very thorough and professional job. Yesterday, our AC turned off without any warning and first thing this morning Techstar dispatched Jordan and Brian. They immediately found the problem and had everything running again in no time and at minimal cost - especially considering the discount we receive from the Service contract.

We could not be more pleased with this company. We highly recommend them.

My condensate pump had been kicking on frequently for weeks. I went with Techstar because of their great reviews. They did not disappoint! Curtis was here the next day after I called. The pump and tubing had to be replaced but he took the time to inspect the other parts around it. Very professional and personable! Will definitely use them again for my HVAC needs!

Service was great and prompt. Got my A/C fixed same day. The technician that did the repair was very straight forward with what needed to be repaired and didn’t try to sell me unneeded parts. Techstar is my new hvac #1 choice.

Charlie, was very personable, and professional! Did everything he possibly could do to try to fix our unit, stayed longer than probably needed to, to try every option. Unfortunately the compressor was unfixable in such an old unit!

Brain and Jordan from Techstar are phenomenal Technicians! They arrived with in a couple hours of initial call, rapidly and accurately diagnosed work required. Worked well together, easy to talk to, answered all questions, and were fair on pricing!

We just got the keys to our new rental only to find the AC was out. Charlie was our hero! He drove all the way out and after some troubleshooting and maintenance was able to determine the issue and repair it for our household goods arrival tomorrow. I wish I could give ten stars! Techstar installed our new ac unit and new ductwork a few weeks ago now! They turned a 2 day job into a 1 day job to get our air back up and running in the midst of the heat wave. Everything is running much better than it was before. They were very knowledgeable and amazing to work with. We will definitely be giving them a call in the future for any issues.

Tears of joy! We have not had our central AC or heat since 2004. It's been many years of fans and a small window unit. So many hours of prepping firewood for our only heat source in the winter! Stephen and Zach had to modify my air handler, install the outside unit that has been missing for years, and a new thermostat (a fancy one!!) They did an excellent and professional job! Very trustworthy, dependable and reliable! Let me share a little secret ..shhhh....Techstar KNOWS how to do customer service..... unbelievably WELL!! This is a very rare quality anymore! Thankful for these trusted techs! They are honorable men highly experienced and fair. Curtis didn’t try to play games and overcharge me for crap I don’t need. I have dealt with so many shady HVAC companies. But Curtis is definitely changed my opinion as I was starting to lose hope. He added Freon, duct taped some old duct in my attic and BOOM, my AC is flowing STRONG & COLD again! I wish I could give ten stars! CURTIS YOU ARE A TRUE PROFESSIONAL!

We had an A/C issue and Techstar sent out Curtis! This was the second time he has been out and he does such a fantastic job and is very professional and friendly. My wife and I love that he doesn't mind explaining what has happened or what he is doing to fix the issue! He is very considerate of using chemicals that smell and did everything he could to dissipate the smell! Curtis deserves as many stars as we can give!

Jordan was awesome to work with. He took time to explain everything to me. He dug deep to find our issues and was honest in what was and what wasn’t an issue, not looking to charge me for something that doesn’t need fixed.

I called after hours and they responded in a timely fashion. The owner, even called to make sure everything was being handled. Great customer service. They installed the unit and I was very happy.

Brian and Jordan were professional and kind. Within minutes they figured out the issue and fixed it. The prior hvac company replaced a capacitor and put in the wrong size. Brian and Jordan figured it out and its blowing super cold air again.

Wow!!! Great customer service, which started from the phone call to the company, ( which I had referrals by others that were very happy with their services), to Curtis and his associate Brian. Curtis was Great! I actually asked Curtis if I could request them for any of my future projects. Both men were very knowledgeable and professional. Professional, fast, great fair price and excellent work! Got us in on short notice, two days of discovery of leaking water around HVAC in basement. Fixed our AC drain leak, installed a new lift pump and drain line in less than an hour! Very professional technicians, Kurt and Brian, were respectful and focused. Highly recommend TechStar!

This was my first experience with Techstar and having worked with several HVAC companies in the area, this was by far my best experience. Charlie and Brian were friendly, respectful and fully addressed all my questions. Charlie went above and beyond to fix a couple things that weren’t part of the usual maintenance. He also took the time to explain things about my units. And they played with my dog! So happy to give them 5 stars! Can I give them 10?

Follow-up: Had cooling issues due to my 1973 split level home and its heating and cooling challenges. Tech Star’s owner personally came out to assess my home and recommended that I have 6 closable return vents installed close to the ceiling! What a brilliant idea :) Greg came out and cut drywall and did a great job installing them in half of a day, I am so happy! Thank you so much for caring about our comfort and caring about the work that you do.
