Sunset Roofing did a great job reroofing my front porch and garage. Each was a tear off after which my yards front and back was left clean. Rich was the foreman that insured the delicate parts of the job was done to high standards. Overall the craftsmanship was outstanding. Travis took the time to walk the finished job as well to insure all was good.

While getting ready for work one day recently, I found that I had a leak coming in from my crawlspace door. Looked online to find some roofers to see where the leak was coming from, and as chance would have it, Sunset was the first place I called. The very nice receptionist said she would see who could come out and would call me back. She called back a few minutes later and informed me that Travis would stop by and take a look. Travis made time out of his day to stop by and take a look a few hours later. He was very professional and was quick to find where the issue was. He left us with options on how to fix the issue. We ended up getting our whole roof replaced. We did have a couple estimates along with Sunset, and it wasnt even close. Travis showed that his concern was to make sure we understood the quotes, and he never made us feel like he was upselling us on getting more done than needed. We were quickly added to the schedule. His crew was very polite and organized, and the cleanup was spectacular. His workers even cleaned the tops of our vinyl fencing that had accumulated some dirt from the job. Travis provided photos of the progress and also took drone photos so we could see the before and after. The office provided us will all warranty paperwork after the job. I can't recommend Sunset and Travis enough!!!!

Sunset Roofing is a great company to do business with! Travis was very professional and addressed all of our roofing needs and even coordinated installation of new gutters! We started the roof replacement process with Travis, but had to wait months for our solar contractor to remove our solar system. Once the solar was finally removed, then Travis worked with us to have the roof replaced as soon as a good weather window opened up! The installation crew did an excellent job installing quality materials. The installation was finished in only one day as the company had extra crew members come to get the job done for us! The crew was very polite and respected the property. Cleanup was exceptional as there was no mess left behind! We highly recommend Sunset roofing as an honest, extremely efficient, and very professional company that understands how to get the job done right!

Travis and his crew did a great job with our large residential roof--architectural shingles. Started and finished right on schedule with no issues or delays. Very professional with high-quality materials and workmanship--much better than the roof that was torn off. Also, the team found and fixed several issues with sheathing, ventilation and ducting. All that, and Sunset was the lowest of three quotes I received. This is the second roof I've had done by Sunset and I recommend them highly.

We recently replaced a failed system for Sunset Roofing and we were impressed by their professionalism and dedication. They provide excellent services, and we highly recommend them for your roofing needs!

They did an awesome job and got it done in 1 day. But because the schedule was moved quickly and didn't get things out of the way. I was told they will move them and move them back. That didn't happen things are broke now. Stuff laying on our floor/ceiling. There was a puncture in my sons room. They did give us credit. But not happy with the attic part of it.

Everyone was amazingly hands down great work and accountability and so much PRIDE in their work ! Definitely would recommend them ps Travis is wonderful to deal with I will post pictures tomorrow thank you so much Sunset

From the for first time I met with Travis for an estimate, I knew this was the company earning my business.
Travis was so honest and upfront about everything - he told me did not necessarily "need" a new roof this year (which I knew) and our current roof had a couple more years of life left if we chose to wait. We didn't want to wait for a leak, but rather get it done before there was an issue. Travis made me feel as though he wasn't a salesman but rather an honest genuine human being. He empathized that the cost of a new roof is an expensive investment for a homeowner and never gave me the "sleezy used car salesman" feeling. He was so responsive and easy going, never hounding me with phone calls or asking for any money upfront. He was on site with the crew both days they worked, checking in with me from time to time to explain and keep me informed as the project progressed. Could go on and on about how much I liked Travis and how HE was the reason we chose Sunset Roofing.
Rich was the foreman on the job with a crew of 4 other workers. The entire crew was friendly, happy, and worked with a sense of care and dedication. Rich kept them hydrated and fed throughout the hot days with water, lunch, and he cut up fresh watermelon for the crew to enjoy on the few quick breaks they took. You could tell Rich truly cared for his workers, and that showed through their craftsmanship and dedication to the work.

I unfortunately had Shane Scott of over the top ny castile do my roof and bungle it massively sunset came out and helped me through it. Do not use Shane Scott and over the top roofing out of Castile you’ll regret it.

Ron and the crew did great job, knocked job out in one day even with 2 buildings and more work than expected with plywood being in worse shape then thought had to replace 22 sheets and fascia boards, removed old metal chimney. protected all our property items ,cleaned up every bit of debris, even trimmed the neighbors tree hanging over roof.

After meeting with multiple contractors, I decided to go with Sunset Roofing. Travis and the crew were a pleasure to work with. He explained everything up front, answered all my questions throughout the process and they did a great job on the roof. A late winter wind storm had caused some major damage to our old roof requiring a full replacement. After 5 or 6 consultations with less than impressive contractors, I came across Sunset Roofing. Within a day or so Travis was at our home and up on our roof, after a thorough inspection he walked me through what we needed as well as what we didn't need. He showed me how the modern materials they would use were designed to mitigate the type of wind damage we had been dealing with and explained the TWO warranties (35 year Manufacturers and 7 year Workmanship through Sunset) that would be included. After our discussion I was sold already and hadn't even received the estimate yet. I was shocked when I received the proposal to find that not only was the value being offered superior to the other estimates I'd received but it was several thousand dollars less than those previous estimates as well. The quality of work and professionalism provided by the crew that completed the job was 2nd to none. Richard and his team showed up early even though it was raining so they could be ready to go when it cleared up, then they knocked out the job in 24 hours and when they left the yard was cleaner than it was when they arrived. I truly couldn't be happier, thank you Sunset!

Very pleased with our new roof. Very efficient, done in one day with draping to protect our house & deck. There was constant cleanup of our yard. Travis who gave us our estimate was thorough & the only one to actually go on the roof. He detailed to us the vents we needed especially for the bathroom & replacing the furnace pipe. Sunset Roofing is right up there at the major league level. They are at the top of their game and really cover all the bases. The old roof removal and new roof install that they did for us was excellent. The crew was incredibly efficient, focused, and skilled. The work, including the clean-up around the yard, was finished in one full day, and the debris (two layers’ worth) was hauled away the very same day. The crew made sure to protect any shrubs around the house. This company is also flexible. On the scheduled day of the project, the weather was lousy. So the whole thing was pushed back one day, which worked out great. Travis, who was the first employee we met from Sunset Roofing weeks before, is a knowledgeable and personable company representative. At that first meeting, he arrived right on time, got up on the roof to check it out thoroughly, and then gave us a new-roof price we liked. The roofing proposal he wrote up clearly listed the steps in the process, the materials to be used, and the timeline to be followed. He had full-size shingle samples with him, and when we chose one we liked best, he got back up on the roof with it so we could see how it differed from our existing shingles and how it went with our siding. Travis also gave us a price for new gutters. The gutter work was completed a few weeks after the roof, in one afternoon. Overall, my wife and I are very glad we chose Sunset Roofing and highly recommend their team!

Sunset did a pretty good-sized roof for us last summer and we are completely satisfied. The project manager, Illar, was prompt, thorough, expert, and personable. Our project went off BEFORE its schedule and, once started, was pursued diligently until completion. Illar managed the project closely from start to finish. Our home is a 200 yr old stone structure and as such has many characteristics atypical of common residential construction. Sunset accomodated all issues with the completed job finished professionally and effectively. Cleanup was thorough.

Had a leaking roof that needed immediate repairs. I asked sunset roofing to give me an estimate to replace the entire roof and skylight windows. They were very prompt. They prioritized my roof on their first opening/cancellation. They were very professional, came with a whole team and a foreman on site the entire time. I have had zero issues with the quality of work. They provided pictures from the estimate, additional repairs needed, and the completed job.

Part of the roof with the skylight windows has a very low angle/flat roof- they had experience professionals and knew exactly how to resolve issues. There were many discovered issues while they were working on it (because of the poor condition of the roof) - they communicated the issues very well and promptly, and we agreed on the resolution in a timely fashion. Additionally supplies were brought on to site immediately to repair additional issues. They finished the job in one day. The new roof and clean up job was impressive. (Also no minors were employed - which is as important to me.)

It’s been 6 months and I am very happy with the outcome and services provided to me. I would recommend them to my family or friends. I personally would use this company again but I think the roof is going to be standing for many …many years to come! We needed to replace a leaking flat residential asphalt roof that covered an addition on our house. We contacted six different companies. Out of the six companies, we were most impressed with Sunset Roofing. Illarion showed up when he said he would and discussed our options. He recommended an EPDM rubber roof. He was professional and provided a detailed estimate with all of the specs within a day (as he said he would). He was responsive to all our questions. We especially liked the fact that Sunset Roofing is a family-owned company that has been in business for many years. Sunset provided a warranty on both materials and labor, which is important in hiring a roofing company. The job was completed thoroughly and professionally in a timely manner. The roofers cleaned up the area when they were finished, and it was left just the way they found it. So far, the roof has been great, and we couldn't be happier!

Our Antique Wireless Association Museum Roof had a leak that needed to be fixed. (It was getting equipment wet) I called various places and wasn't getting much of a response at all until I called Sunset Roofing in Caledonia. I spoke with illarion there and the next day they were out for an estimate. It may have been my luck with timing but the day after the estimate they were out and patched 2 fairly large places on our roof. I could not have been more pleased with the company and the young man (illarion) that came out for the estimate. Very professional.

My husband and I had Sunset Roofing replace our roof and replace part of the large shed walls due to tree damage in October '23. Illar and his crew did an outstanding jon cleaning up a big mess because roof had collapsed in one spot. Illar went way out of his way to help us move heavy equipment from the shef prior to beginng the job. He is incredible, very kind trustworthy, professional, punctual, and did an outstanding job at a site location not easy to access in Ontario C ounty. Illarion Kiriyak was my salesman and he went over every detail of what needed to be replaced on the roof. They were able to fit me in quickly when we had the break of good weather. I highly recommend Sunset Roofing! They came out on Friday to look at our roof, by Tuesday we had an official quote which we accepted, and Wednesday morning they came out to make repairs! They were very professional, so nice, cleaned up everything, and the work was done in a few hours.

I was super happy with the work they did and the whole experience! I needed a small roof patch over where a chimney was removed. They were able to fit this small job in in between their bigger stuff and were really reasonable on price. Looks great and they were really pleasant to work with. Many other companies seemed to gouge me on the price they quoted or not be willing to do the job because it was a small one. I was thankful to find Sunset Roofing.

We just had a complete roof replacement and could not be happier with the experience from beginning to end. Travis came out and gave us a thorough explanation of the process. He also got on our roof and did a thorough examination of our roof as he was up there at least 20 minutes. He showed us the photos he took and explained where there were problems. He actually even told us if we were planning on moving within the next 2 years the roof would probably pass an inspection as is. We appreciated his honesty and told him we did want to go ahead with it. The crew that did the work was very respectful of our property and amazingly efficient. The foreman Richard was outstanding and even touched up a part of our house with paint that was way too high for me, caulked the gutters and put a gutter guard where birds were constantly building a nest. Sunset replaced our roof in Churchville on Tues, June 7, and did a remarkable job with the project. They arrived around 7am and worked straight thru to around 1:30 to finish. Ours is not a huge house but the roof has some different angles and a valley. They replaced a plywood section that had split over the years and did a large nail-down improvement where we had pop--ups. They provided a much needed rain-guard for a section of gutter on the back that is impossible for us to reach. The site manager, Travis, was there early to get everything started and Ilar was present as the crew leader and was very helpful in keeping us up-to-date on their progress and findings along the way. Travis and Ilar and the roofing crew were great to work with through the whole project. It was an amazingly efficient and thorough effort, and their clean-up of the yard afterwards was amazing. They protected the house and plants with coverings and hauled everything away. Really appreciated Travis's guidance in the planning and completion of the project - good communications all the way. We highly recommend Travis, Ilar, and their team for your roofing project. Just a solid company in an age where decent folks doing good work is hard to come by. Travis came out and did a great job creating a relationship with us and made it a no brainer when choosing between quotes . Team got us in early before our expected due date for new baby , and did a tear off and replacement working 7 am -9 pm . Trust the reviews for these guys , and get your new roof .

These guys did a wonderful job on this one-layer tear-off. Sam, their rep and salesman, was very helpful and professional. I was especially impressed by the fact that, out of the four men who came to do estimates, he was the only one who actually brought a ladder and went up on the roof to check it out. Sunset came in with the lowest bid, and I was happily surprised because of the square footage of the roof. Despite the fact that some of the sheathing needed to be replaced, the cost was still the lowest. The crew arrived early in the morning, draped tarps to protect our plants and deck, and were finished twelve hours later. A supervisor was present on-site for the entire day, and they cleaned up the area meticulously before they rode off into the sunset...no pun intended. I have done roofing tear-offs myself in my younger years, and I was thoroughly impressed.

Sunset roofing did a complete tear off of my old roof and did a reroof. They were professional and very quick with the new job. They cleaned up around my house and I only found a couple of nails on my landscape. New gutters were installed. Travis was very professional and he came back a couple of months after the work was completed and cleaned the gutters out for me. He went above and beyond his responsibility. Cannot say more about how efficient this company is. Travis was thorough from the very beginning. After getting a couple quotes from other companies, Travis was the only person who actually got up on our roof to inspect the situation. That made us have trust in him immediately.

My wife and I were very pleased with the service by sunset. Called them 10 days ago and we delt with Sam. Very professional and helpful for getting our roofing problem solved. Let me start with saying that we searched for, and interviewed 4 roofing companies in total for a roof teardown and installation of a new roof. Sunset Roofing was our number one choice.
The first person we spoke to was the receptionist. She was quick to answer and accommodated our immediate request for an appt. She connected us with their rep (Travis) very quickly. Once here, Travis was professional, respectful, and his quote was fair and comparable to the other contractors. He maintained communication with us frequently to let us know where we stood on scheduling. Approximately 2 weeks from the initial visit we were scheduled and a week later our roof was done. Amazing scheduling!!!
During the actual site work, I can't give enough praise to our crew. The foreman was respectful to us and his workers. He lead like a true leader, working on the roof and guiding his workers on tasks that needed clarification. They arrived quietly worked quickly, and left at the end of the day having left the site cleaner than they found it. The foreman's supervisor was professional and made sure he was double checking the work and asking questions of his foreman. All workers were understanding of us being home, and would always halt work until we reentered the home when walking the dog. They were very understanding of this.
Sunset was here for one 12 hour business day and all work was completed. The work has so far withstood high winds, rain, and snow and looks amazing! There have been no leaks or concerns from us. I can't say enough about the level of quality work Sunset has preformed. I am truly grateful for the professionalism and respect shown to us.
If there were to be a complaint (which its not), I would say they took longer than expected to cash our final payment check; and that's not really a complaint, but a mere oversight.

When visiting our daughter in West Henrietta I noticed she had a significant roof leak and another started. Travis came out within a few hours and determined that the roof vents were leaking. They were plastic and were cracked. She plans to sell the house in the spring so Travis proposed a replacement plan that did all three vents. He said they were very busy and it could be as long as a four week wait. I showed him the ceiling and he and Mary worked out a schedule for only a week and a half later. Good contractors are generally very busy but they took into account the situation.

All in all an excellent contractor that took everything into account to deliver a swift solution within our budget constraints. Always friendly and Travis and Mary were so easy to deal with. Thanks to both of you!

Sunset Roofing just completed a full tear off on my house and garage in Batavia NY, and man they did a great job. They worked hard and had to tear off cedar shake and 3 layers the previous owner had on the house, all new plywood and finished all this in just 2 and a half days. They also did a great job with cleanup, yard was spotless as was the driveway, gutters were cleaned and house was sprayed down due to all the cedar dust. Travis did a great job communicating and answering any questions as did Rick and his crew that were here working. Highly recommend for a quality job and a company that cares about all the little details. Thanks again!

Excellent price and service. We signed the contract the day after our estimate and the roof was completed within a week. They were here for 5 hours. They were professional, well mannered and did an extremely thorough cleanup. The roof looks beautiful and today we received our warranty paperwork. One of the best contractors I’ve ever dealt with.

I called and set up an appointment early october. Travis came out and went on the roof and inspected everything. I wanted a full roof replacement. He said he would have an estimate to me by the end of the day or the next day at most. (This was october 13th) I texted him several times with no answer. I called the office and was told he was in a meeting and would contact me back afterwords. Several days past (must be a long meeting) and he texted me he was busy and would get it to me. Here we are on the 31st with still no quote or estimate. I guess I will get services elsewhere. Don't waste your time with them like they wasted my time.

I watched this company put a new roof on my neighbors house and they did an amazing job. There was a guy getting something out of their truck so I asked him to come over and look at my house as there was a piece of something hanging from overhang on my roof. He immediately got on my roof and went over and fixed it. When he got down I went inside to get him some money and he said absolutely not, that he was glad to help me out ❤️ Can you believe that…I just can’t say enough…they do great work and are great people!

After many failed attempts trying to get estimates from other local contractors, Sunset was very timely in responding to our request. Roman arrived on time, was thorough in assessing our needs, and spent the time necessary for us to make a sound decision. This story began a little over a month ago- when I contacted four local roofing contractors in the Western New York area. The first contractor I happen to call was Sunset Roofing LLC. Dave @Sunset Roofing LLC was on my roof about four days after I first spoke to him regarding my roofing project needs. Dave quickly let me know, and to which you can see for yourself in the photos attached, that parts of my roof had wind damage. Dave knew right away what to do. He recommended calling my insurance company to file an insurance claim. Dave assured me that over the years he has seen this happen to a lot of home owners. He also said that because of the amount of damage to my roof, the claim might cover up to half of the cost of the new roof. Sounding too good to be true- I decided to hold off on the deal to get another opinion. The second, and third contractors that went to my property never even climbed a ladder to see my roof for themselves. So they had no clue there was wind damage. They also quoted me at $1,500 & $2,500 higher than Sunset Roofing LLC. The fourth contractor never returned my phone call. My decision couldn’t have been easier choosing Sunset Roofing LLC. Within two weeks of first contacting Dave, my new roof was being installed on the time and day i picked. Dave and his crew worked efficiently and the job was done in less than a day. They did an awesome job cleaning up the yard too. Dave & Sunset Roofing LLC should be the first roofing contractor you call when you need work done. They are honest, timely, and professional.

Sunset Roofing provided us with exemplary service in solving our roofing problems. Our 31 year old house had a leaky roof below a skylight. David promptly responded to our call and came out the next day to give us an estimate and put a tarp over the leaky spot. Within one week, we had an entire new roof and three new skylights on our house. During the two day operation of tearing off two layers of old roofing and laying down new roofing tiles, David and his team were professional, hard working, friendly and respectful. David was an excellent communicator. He showed us pictures that he took from the top of our roof and patiently explained what was needed. He gave us recommendations regarding the chimney work to help save us money. David patiently answered all my questions and prepared us for an otherwise disruptive event so we were able to carry on our normal daily routine during the two days of their working on our house.

The workmanship and teamwork of David's group was superb. Our neighbor has expertise in roofing and he was thoroughly impressed with the type of job done by Sunset Roofing. Since our house has a complicated roof line, we have always experienced some type of leaking during a heavy rainstorm. Two days after Sunset Roofing installed new skylights and a new roof, we had over two inches of rain and our roof did not have any leaks. This was the first time in over 30 years that we did not have a leaky roof during a heavy rainstorm. David's team has been working together over four years, which was important to us since our last roofing company's team had high turnover and this interfered with their warranty work. We just wanted to drop a review of Sunset Roofing because of the impression they made on us. We, unfortunately, chose another company because we had an additional project that we wanted done that Sunset would not have been able to complete for us. If it wasn't for that project we would have had Sunset do our roof/gutters. Their sales-rep Roman is as top-notch as they come. He was so helpful answering our questions, patient, and thorough. We contacted him weeks after his initial quote to talk about financing options and he promptly sent us info, like within minutes! We recommend the company based solely on our experience with Roman and now wish we would have held off on our additional project and went with Sunset. If you are thinking about choosing this company for your roofing needs, we believe you will be making a wise choice.

Sunset Roofing went above and beyond when repairing my roof and installing a new skylight. The crew worked diligently and professionally, cleaning up at the end of the day so that it looked like they were never there. They were courteous and kind and showed up on time. Roman was very professional and knowledgeable regarding my total roof tear off! We met in May, booked the job for July 6. His crew got the job done in 2 days! These were 2 very hot days too! I made sure to get them bottles of cold water! They even replaced my attic ventilator fan free! The crew cleaned up the yard of any leftover nails-debris. I would recommend them to all my friends! Sunset Roofing came out to my house to give me an estimate for removal and replacement of the shingles on my roof. Roman, an employee of Sunset Roofing, informed me that I should contact my home owner’s insurance company, because of the missing shingles from the high winds. Roman was correct, the insurance company is helping with some of the cost of the job. Thank you Roman! Roman’s communication, and follow through is superb! What a pleasure it was dealing with him on my roofing project! I didn’t meet his crew, but they all did a great job on the roof!

#2 Roman was very knowledgeable, courteous, and straight forward. I was under promised and over delivered! He quoted me three weeks and the job was completed in less than two weeks from our initial meeting! Yes they had a time slot open up, good weather was a factor I’m sure, but he called me and said “we can come and do the roof earlier than quoted is that ok ?”

#3 No surprises! I was quoted and billed the same dollar amount! They did a complete tear off, installed a new roof on my home and also replaced a missing piece of fascia. The house looks great!

#4 When we were talking about the job, he took the time and educated me about the choices between metal and shingles!

I had Sunset Roofing replace my roof in Wyoming NY. The price was good and they finished it in one day. It looks great and they did additional work with no extra charge. I had low hanging branches and a fairly large branch on the roof from a wind storm. They cut the branches back nice so now neighbors can admire my new beautiful roof. The cleanup was great as well. I definitely recommend them.
