Mike and Phil are truly the best and most reliable people I’ve ever worked with. They are so quick to come out when you call, honest and professional, so friendly and relatable, and will work themselves to the bone to get your roof fixed before any extra damage has a chance to occur. Phil pushed himself to come out on an already overbooked day to seal our skylights and ensure we wouldn’t have any leaking with an upcoming storm the following day. This team is truly exceptional. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know.

These guys are absolutely first class. Good pricing for good work. They even got our skylight repairs in last minute because they knew bad weather was on the way and didn’t want us having to deal with leaks due to the storms. Will definitely give them our business again.

From the moment I called until the job was finished, I had a wonderful experience using Storm Light Exteriors. They should up within a day of my original call and tarped off the damaged area of the roof. Then within a week we had a full repair. Phillip at StormLight Exteriors was great to work with. He has helped my son out with his roof and when we called about repairs for my house he was quick to respond and came out that same week. He was able to patch the area of the roof that was leaking while we figured out insurance and how the claim process would go. He was also respectful and honest on what he would and would not recommend, something we really appreciate that is not as common now a days. Our family would 100% refer them to anyone we know!

We got hit pretty hard last spring with all the storms that came thru north texas and just this past month were we able to finally close the claim with our insurance!! Phillip and Mike at StormLight Exteriors have literally been with us at every step and were able to explain not only why the process what taking so long but the steps along the way. My first call was for a small project and they were amazing. They were always on time, communicated every step of the way, and took great pride in their work. When I needed roof repair, they were the obvious choice. They were able to find and document all the issues that needed work and communicate with insurance while keeping me well informed and involved as much as I wanted. The end result was a beautiful upgrade in form and function for my home. I've since hired them for a third project which was completed above my expectations as well. Mike came out and determined we had some extensive storm damage, but we were outside of the timeline allowed to file a claim since the last storm. He did write us a highly detailed and comprehensive estimate for repairs however, that I was able to use to dispute our property taxes. The detailed breakdown allowed us to show that a substantial amount of work needed to be done on our home and helped reduce our property taxes by a fair amount. We appreciated the attention to detail even when there was no claim money to be made and will be using his company to do repairs when it’s finally time for us to get the work done.

Shane was quick to respond to difficult questions regarding my previous roofing experience and was transparent, consistent and made the process easy for us. I've worked with so many contractors before I found StormLight, and it's always like pulling teeth to get a call back once they start the job. With StormLight was like... they worked for me..., they reported back to me, they updated me. I know wild concept in the market. They actually work for the money.

StormLight came out to repair my roof, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The whole crew were professional, efficient, and did a fantastic job. I know my family and friends would be in good hands with him if they ever needed any repairs or replacements done.

As the same with many of us, we had damage on our roof from the storms this past year. We initially called because we noticed shingles on the ground and StormLight Exteriors was quick to prioritize us and come inspect our roof. Phillip came same day and found the damaged area and was able to tarp it to avoid any further damage. As we are new home owners and this was our first insurance claim, Mike and Phillip were both amazing at explaining how the process works and what steps to take. While response from the insurance did take a some time, they were both readily available and assured me we would be taken care of. Once everything from an insurance side was settled, Phillip came and completed our repair. He was courteous and respectful through the entire encounter. We could not recommend this company enough!

I was worried about finding a roofing company after hearing some horror stories from friends but Mike and his team took me through the entire process from the start, educated me on what was being done and took care of everything including a few extras. I was more than satisfied with their level of customer service and the pride they take in their work. I would recommend Stormlight to anyone looking to have work done on their home

They did an excellent job on my roof. Still waiting for the interior, but I'd rather make sure there are no leaks before painting, so I'm OK with that.

While I'm not an expert, I worked in the industry for long enough to know that there is a lot of corner cutting and what is supposed to be done in regard to tear off, ventilation, underlayment, etc.

I noted everything done to, or above expectation. The GC site manager Phillip was present the whole day with the exception of a Home Depot run. Tarps over everything, including the pool, magnets to pick up nails, cleaned up after themselves. Lots of little things, like one of the guys noticed that my shed was missing a shingle and repairs that for me.

They even upgraded from the 20 year (yeah right) 3-tab to 30 year shingles. Basically said that while there is some negligible increase in material costs, and they do weigh more, so more labor, it is offset by not having to come back out to do repairs and having a happier customer.

After the first real rain, it was so nice not having water under my patio cover as well.

All in all, I am very happy with these general contractors' roofing; I have no doubt the interior and gutters will be done just as professionally.

Very satisfied with the roof job they completed for us. The process was as easy as one could hope for. Communication and punctuality were great. Very professional and their customer service was well above par. Highly recommend these guys. It's difficult finding contractors that do what they say they're going to and in the timeframe they commit to. I will not be looking for another roofing contractor as long as I'm in North Texas. Easy 5-star review.
