We had significant water damage due to a broken water line. Aiden McDonald was the first to arrive and immediately started the remediation process. He and his team were easy to work and coordinate with as they fully handled this work.

Tim Reed and his team then started the reconstruction process. Tim was easy to deal with and talk to. He wanted to make sure we were fully satisfied with the work which we were. Tim took care of any issue that we had concerns about and we really appreciated that.

The work above was almost a 3 month process due to the extent of the damage. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use them again!

Stop means Stop!

* Overcharged: Billed $6,000 initially, settled at near $1,000 after disputes. This was not because of an original quote but rather "errors."

* Unprofessional: Representative "Ali" disappeared for 1.5 weeks after being challenged.

* Caused damage: $5,000 worth of damage to walls and property, refused to repair.

* Minimal work: Only cleaned one corner under the kitchen sink.

* Deceptive: Promised free 24-hour dehumidifier trial, then tried to charge. Tried to charge for extra days for another machine.

* Gaslighting: Accused us of misunderstanding or being too unintelligent.

Avoid this company at all costs!

Working with Ben was great. He came out and took a look at our problem. The pricing was fare and when we were ready to proceed he was able to get a team in the same week. We had some follow-up work which Ben took care of. Great service and great team to work with.

We had our hot water heater leak for the second time in two years. Both times Stop Restoration was there for us. We called them at 8:00 in the morning and they had someone there by 11:00. Edit ... the dry out and demo was result of leaking dishwasher from kitchen which leaked to basement ceiling. STOP showed up immediately, set up dry out equipment , demoed, set up equipment, monitored, completed demo. Communicated with us every step of the way. Communicated with insurance. Kept us in loop. Charles, Terry, Jermaine, Aiden, Miranda and whoever I left out apologies as everyone was just a pleasure to meet and work with.

Our son's toilet flooded our upstairs and our garage overnight. Stop restoration came as soon as possible to survey the damage, give us reliable information, and we filed our claim. They were immediately in action to help dry everything out and because of how helpful they were, we decided to use them for our repairs, as well. Ben, Chrissie and their team did a great job of removing my old loose fill attic insulation.
After 7 hours of careful work with their giant vacuum all reminents of loose fill were gone
from the joists and rafters with no missteps through the ceiling. Very professionally done

We had a leak coming in from the outside, and we noticed some water damage and mold on the interior wall. Charles at STOP Restoration came quickly to assess the damage, and he had his guys come out within the next day. His team was thorough and polite and got the mold removed and everything dried out as quickly as possible at a fair price.

STOP Restoration was recommended to us by our insurance agent for mitigation from a small water leak in our house. Charles was very professional when performing the quote. They were able to get us onto their schedule quickly. By the time they came out to do the drying, they found the items that were affected were already dry. Because of this they only charged us for the trip fee and refunded us the remainder of our deposit. I would recommend STOP and would definitely use them again if the situation arises.

I am very pleased with the service of the STOP Service Team. They were onsite within 30 mins and started restoration. The Team that showed up was very polite and kept me informed of the worked performed. I will definitely use them in the future .

The initial crew that removed the mold and water damaged flooring and walls was great, very professional. The crew that came after to put everything back together dropped the ball. The project manager was slow to get started and failed to supervise the subcontractors properly. When shoddy work was pointed out to him, he did not take the opportunity to go behind them and inspect their work more closely. Instead, he instructed me to put a piece of tape to mark all the spots that I had a problem with. In addition he waited until the last minute to present flooring and vanity samples to be chosen and ordered, causing more unnecessary delays. I kept having to reach out to him to point out things that were left undone once the workers had supposedly completed their work. We finally got everything finished, but I will not use them again and will not recommend them to anyone else. The process ended up taking over two months from start to finish.

I had a pipe burst in January under the kitchen sink. I called these guys and within 24 hrs had a team out to start water mitigation services. They were on point with explaining the process and professionals. Ben and his team know just what to do when your house has a disaster. Give them a call.

So far I've had a great experience with Morgan and Terrance. We had a leak under our sink and Morgan was able to quickly come out to assess the damage and come back with an estimate. She has made the process very easy so far. Today they mitigated the area and Terrance and Morgan got it done quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Almost like they were never here. Looking forward to the repair part now.

Edit: The repair guy, Jeff was absolutely profressional. He did a great job keeping me up to date and really did a great job finishing up our cabinet as quickly as he could.

The crew were very professional and courteous. Team took pictures prior to moving furniture as hardwood floors on the main floor needed to be refinished. Huge shout out to the entire STOP Team that oversaw our mitigation and repair processes. Can't say enough about Mike Mound, who led the effort and stayed in constant contact with us, even when our replacement flooring was delayed due to supply chain slowdowns. Mike truly cared about the work being done in the home and sought to minimize any inconveniences we were experiencing. Mike was incredibly responsive to texts, calls or emails. He took time to explain the entire process and made recommendations along the way to guide some of our decisions. Mike would always come to the house to check on any work that had been completed by one of the sub-contractors, and he never hesitated to listen to questions or requests. He worked with us and the painters to find the exact paint we needed, and he patiently worked with the flooring team to help us find an amazing match for the hardwoods we were replacing. We were ALWAYS in the loop at every step. The members of Mike's team were always a pleasure to have working in our home and were very respectful. The sub-contractors for painting, plumbing and flooring were all fantastic as well. Could not have asked for a better team of people. I told Mike that while I hope to never need this level of restoration work again from an overflowed toilet, I would not hesitate to recommend STOP Restoration to anyone.

This crew was at my home within 2 hours and did their tear out and then set up the heaters and dehumidifiers. They were here every day to check on the moisture until it was gone. Would I use them again? Absolutely. Best I have ever seen.

I want to start by saying that I don’t normally write reviews but this business deserves all the praise.
I called Thursday evening when we found mold and spoke with Michelle. She had to be one of the friendliest/ happiest person to talk to when you are stressed. I then got a call from Mike right away telling me exactly what to do to keep the mold contained till he got to us Friday morning to inspect the house and found the problem, within an hour and we had a game plan of what to do to get rid of the issue.
Mike was available all weekend to answer any questions I had in preparing for his team to come out on Tuesday. (Monday was a holiday.)
Bright and early Tuesday morning Charles, Erik, Ian and Seth were at the house, they worked non stop till they got all mold gone. They kept us updated throughout the day of what they were doing next or what they found. Someone came back everyday to check moisture levels and get participle counts. One day particle count wasn’t what they wanted so they came back out to clean again on their own dime.
All that to say, these folks truly care about your health and well being. They are fantastic to work with and I would and have recommended them to anyone that may need their services in the future.
There was a couple other guys that came out to help too, I’m sorry I don’t remember their names but they defiantly deserve recognition.

All of the employees with whom I interacted were responsive and professional. I had a small puff-back from my gas logs and they cleaned the walls and ceilings and then arranged to have the ducts in my home cleaned. They performed the entire mitigation service for me with not problems.
