I hired Steppingstones to repair my chimney which was leaking badly into my kitchen. They came in a timely manner to provide me with a quote and got me into their schedule. The Steppingstones crew worked efficiently to repair the chimney and provide updates along the way which I really appreciated! My chimney looks better than ever and is now watertight thanks to them!

Steppingstone Masonry repaired the portion of my six flue chimney above the roofline, sealed off the unused flues, and installed a stainless-steel cap. They also replaced failing brick in the foundation of the chimney as well as loose stone in my house's foundation. I've received numerous compliments from my neighbors on their work. Steppingstones Masonry has been working on and off for the past 20+ years on our circa 1850 brick carriage house in downtown Portsmouth. Tom and the team at Steppingstones are the best! We had spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to fix our late 1700’s fireplaces. They still didn’t work right. We were very pleased with Steppingstones' services to repair a leak into our home in the vicinity of our chimney. They have extensive experience working on historic chimneys in Portsmouth and surrounding area. The leak initially surfaced last winter, and Steppingstones completed a temporary repair, and we scheduled a full repair for warmer weather. Aidan and Tyler completed the work over two days, including new flashing, repointing, ice and water shield, shingles, etc. They kept me well informed throughout and left a clean work site. Owner, Tom, was onsite both days to overview the work. And, a pleasant surprise was the actual costs came in less than the estimate. We would highly recommend Steppingstones Masonry.

I'm so glad we found Stepping Stones Masonry a few years ago. Tom has been wonderful to work with. We have an old brick building in Portsmouth that needs some TLC and the crew did an amazing job repointing the brickwork on our parapet walls. We'd been suffering with water coming into the house, but the leaks have disappeared! I'd recommend them to anyone in the area without hesitation.
