We used Star Home Improvements to replace our front door and couldn't be happier with our experience from beginning to end. When providing the estimate Roland answered all our questions, was very knowledgeable and responsive, and we didn't feel pressured at all. Scheduling was a breeze, and when it came time for the installation, the crew was on time and very professional. The door was installed beautifully and to our specifications. Overall we were very happy with Star Home Improvements and will definitely be reaching out for our future exterior needs.

An absolutely phenomenal company that treats customers the way they should be treated. They replaced the windows in my entire home (11 windows) and did an amazing job. They also offer 0% interest financing same as cash options in various lengths, which the clock doesn’t even start for repayments on until installation. This was extremely helpful to me given the large purchase order to do my entire house at once. They are also extremely competitive (in some things 20-40% cheaper) from a pricing standpoint for the same product given they are a small company and don’t maintain substantial overhead. I saved literal thousands of dollars on my windows by going with them for the same product I almost purchased through another company. Roland was also very straightforward with me on all products and never tried to upsell me with things I did not need. He even told me when more expensive products were not worth it and provided me with all of the warranty information for various lines that they offer. He’s been working in this business for a long long time and his experience is evident in conversations with him. He and his wife own the company and they are wonderful. The installers that came were extremely professional, made sure to double check everything with me before installation, protected my house/floors during, and then cleaned up and had me check to make sure everything was good to go afterwards. Very hardworking crew and they did a phenomenal job. They also said they would be there between 8-9 in the morning on the day of installation and they were already out of their vehicle and ready to go when I opened the door at 8:02am. Most punctual group of contractors I’ve ever seen! I am also renovating my entire house top to bottom and one thing I’ve learned is that almost nothing is level or plumb, except my newly installed windows! Made putting my widow casing on extremely easy, which I greatly appreciated! From start to finish I cannot recommend this company enough. Nicest people. I went with the ProVia Aspect windows and they are gorgeous. They also capped the bay window and garage door surrounds for me with PVC so they will never rot again and did an amazing job! I’ll be calling them next year for a roof replacement.

Star home Improvements installed my new windows and did my roof. The crew we're ontime, they did a very nice job on my windows and roof. After everything was installed, they did a final walk through to make sure everything is done. would definitely use this company again. Great job Roland and to your team.

Star Home Improvements recently installed 13 windows in our home, and we cannot express how thrilled we are with their quality of work, attention to detail, and professionalism. We had a very positive customer experience from start to finish, and we highly recommend Star Home Improvements to anyone needing work done to their home.

We are readying our 19-year-old home for near-future sale. All our home’s south-facing windows were in bad shape with glass discoloration and broken seals. Roland worked with us to come up with window solutions that would add value to the home but not deplete the ‘getting-house-ready-for-sale’ funds we set aside which is very tricky when having to replace windows in a kitchen sunroom!

The installation crew arrived on time, kept us updated on the job status, and left our home spotless. We were billed exactly what was quoted. We regret not reaching out to Star Home Improvements to have these windows done sooner because our new windows are gorgeous and really beautify our home!

Roland is an amazing contractor. He is very honest and upfront. He has excellent communication skills. His pricing is more than just competitive. He is very judicious how he spends his advertising and development funding. He and his wife Tiffany run a really tight organization. You are not going to be charged for a lot of overhead or sales person commissions. They work hard and do it all themselves. They really care about the quality of their work. Roland was at my job site everyday. Tiffany was available every day for the entire day in the office. He recently put 4 extra light boxes for me on my siding. I decided to change the lights on the house. The work matched perfectly. He scheduled it quickly and the guys showed up when they were scheduled. Other than the new light boxes and lights there was no evidence (extra material, boxes, screws, wire, siding attachments) left laying around. If you have a project do not hesitate to give them a call. Roland has a long history of experience and has a great crew working for him. He is detail oriented and provides very focused suggestions. He wants you to be fully satisfied.

The project was a porch ceiling in an exterior wrap porch. I requested soffit type material to be installed. Roland Hook the owner knew exactly what I wanted (most other vendors had no idea what I was talking about). Two installers took approximately 1 day for the install. It looks great, Thanks Roland.

It was incredibly important to us to have a seamless transparent process and Star provide it through and through! Out of the 3 estimates we got, Roland was the only one that was crystal clear on what we were paying for. On the day of install the guys were professional, neat and they wrapped everything up in a few hours. We could not be happier, will definitely be using Star again and we cannot recommend them enough!

Star Home Improvements installed vinyl siding, PVC wrapped trim, shutters, gutters and downspouts on our 20 year old home. Working with Roland and everyone at Star Home Improvements was a pleasure. Star Home Improvements did a fantastic job at a price thousands less than what we were quoted by others. Once it was clear we needed a new roof, we began shopping for installers. We almost succumbed to the heavy pressure from another contractor to sign a ‘today-only’ priced contract. Luckily, we contacted Roland at Star Home Improvements for one more estimate. We had a survey and an estimate the following day. The materials were the identical across the quotes, but every line was less expensive. Most fabulous was that the price actually turned out to be less that the quote, because instead of ripping off all the plywood decking, they replaced only the sheets that really needed to be replaced.
The installation work was completed in one day with the crew returning the next morning to complete the cleanup. To our delight, we have not found one nail on the ground or in the car tires.
During the actual work there were with multiple visits by supervisors to ensure the project was on-track. Start to finish the communications were great and we always felt we knew what was happening, when.
We are very happy with the new roof and feel like we got a great value. We are about as happy as a couple could be after spending a significant amount of money to repair an old leaky roof. We highly recommend Star Home Improvements.

I had all my back windows replaced. I reached out to Start Home Improvements for a quote. Roland came out, looked at what I needed replaced and gave me great pricing. The team showed up and completed the job in a day with no issues. Roland then came out after the project was completed to inspect the work. Roland has very high standards for the work his team does and wants to ensure each project is completed to his standards. I could not be more pleased. The windows look awesome! I will be using them to do other outdoor projects in the near future. I am so happy I found Star Home Improvements!

Star Home Improvements installed 14 new windows on our home and added vinyl capping to the remaining existing windows. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. Roland answered all of our questions and gave us a fair price. And the installers were pros who completed the job in the time frame stated. Their work was precise and they left the job clean and neat every day. Highly recommend.

After I moved into my condo I realized that the patio door and bedroom window were the originals, from 1987. It was so drafty in the winter and the HVAC would run constantly. The bedroom window also had some damage. So I decided to hire Star Home Improvements to replace both the patio sliding door and bedroom slider window with Vinylmax ones. They were custom fit and with white trim. What I really appreciate about Star Home Improvements is they made sure that everything was consistent with condominium association standards to match the rest of the community's replacement patio doors and windows. The workers were extremely polite, clean, and efficient. Customer service was top notch. It's been a few months since the installation and boy, did I make an excellent decision! Our electric bill has already decreased by $58. The energy savings of the Vinylmax triple pane windows cannot be beat. A bonus is the sound proofing the high-quality glass provides, along with the added security. I highly recommend this company for custom door/window replacement and installation.
