Sprague Construction is by far the BEST contractor I've ever worked with. Not only did they show up every day and stick to the timeline, but they were super prompt to respond every time I reached out. As a second home-owner, their online messaging platform made it easy to communicate specifics in writing, and it provided a place for the team to post progress pictures at the end of each day. (They were also very responsive to phone calls for those who prefer that mode of communication). Casey's explanations of every aspect of the job really demonstrated he knew what he was talking about and gave us the confidence that our project was in good hands. Petra was super helpful in communicating the design details and sourcing last-minute materials. I can't say enough how impressed I am with the craftsmanship of Ian and Evan. The tilework they completed is beautiful, and it's obvious they take real pride in what they do. I am so glad to have found a trust-worthy contractor who performs high quality work. Highly recommend and am excited that I know exactly who to call the next time I need work done in my home. Thank you, thank you, thank you Ian, Evan, Casey and Petra for a job well done! Sure I'm not the first, but you have a real happy customer.

I guess Steve’s idea of “professional conduct”, is watching his operations manager sit around the office bad mouthing customers to everyone in the company, while having “fun with color coded stationary”. Or perhaps, it’s sending a ramshackle crew out to repair structurally significant parts of someone’s house, led by an employee with only a few short months of direct experience. Maybe it’s allowing members of his company to have screaming meltdowns, directed at other employees, while on the job site. The most professional part about this response is the part where he has somehow fabricated in his mind, and is now creating a narrative, that I was fired … sounds like a great company to work with..
If you are seeking to be misled, abused, and disrespected (as a customer or an employee ) then I highly recommend Sprague construction and their affiliates.

We recently completed a TOTAL home renovation and we cannot say enough good things about Sprague/A Handyman Company. We had a very positive experience with AHC (bathroom renovation). The whole process was smooth and transparent. Communication was excellent throughout. The entire crew (Casey, Petra, Ian, Evan) were a delight to work with. Start to finish the whole project was completed in a few weeks. We plan to use them for future projects.

Working with A Handyman was a true pleasure across all phases of the project. Beginning with the design process, Petra listened to our vision and was able to flawlessly translate the image in our minds into reality. Her designs and attention to detail are second to none. Even though we couldn't always meet in person Petra's communication was detailed and thorough - the mood boards she sent really helped us understand how she intended to execute our vision, and her ability to find options at different price points allowed us to maximize our renovation budget.
The workmanship and craftsmanship on the project are second to none. The tile work in the bathroom is simply exquisite. The finish carpentry is outstanding, and although it's often not thought about, the mud and taping on the drywall is undetectable. Casey is simply amazing. His attention to detail, high standards, and ideas helped us make maximum use of our space and allowed us to maximize the bang-for-the-buck we got from our budget. I can't overstate how excellent Casey's communication was (by phone, text, and uploaded photos) and even though we were at our primary residence for most of the project we always felt like we knew exactly what was happening everyday at the house. To anyone considering hiring A Handyman: They are simply the best we have ever found, and we are already planning to work with them when the time comes to renovate our second floor.

I can't say enough great things about my recent experience with A Handyman Company. They saved me and my family from a disastrous living situation. Previous renovations (done by another local contractor/ builder) were shoddy and allowed for major water damage that was hidden from me when I bought the house, but became apparent shortly after we started living in the house. HandyMan demo-d and removed all the water damaged flooring and sub-floor, redid the sub-floor with proper moisture barrier and heat insulation, and demo-d and and rebuilt two bathrooms in about two months. They started and finished exactly on time, and the bathrooms look amazing. Ian and Evan display high quality workmanship (flooring and tiling) and a professional, kind attitude. I also had a great experience working with the new design point-person, Petra. She was indispensable in helping me design the bathroom of my dreams, and took many trips all around the area to find the right materials and paint colors. I am thrilled with the final product and now have two perfect bathrooms, beautiful flooring that will withstand all the weather ups and downs, and a new laundry room. Finally, Steve was very professional and transparent about all the details, change orders, invoices, etc... I was always consulted before any changes were made to the original plan. Highly recommended!

Ian and his crew gut-renovated two bathrooms and a laundry room, which including moving walls, rewiring, adding lighting and exhaust fans, tiling, building a shower, etc. Their work was meticulous, the tiling work is beautiful, and we're thrilled with the end product. Just as important, their communication was excellent at every step, nothing was too much or too hard, and they worked hard and finished on time. I couldn't recommend them more highly.
