I needed work done to my chimney. The crown was cracked and leaking water into the chimney. Also, I was having downdraft problems when I used it. I contacted Sposato masonry to address the problems. He knew exactly what had to be done to correct both problems. After a written proposal was sent to me. Everything was explained in detail on what was to be done with the job. I am very pleased to have hired them to do the work. The chimney had to be raised higher in order to stop the downdraft problem. Mind you this was a 45 year old chimney. They did an excellent job matching everything up. Every detail was addressed by the hardworking crew. After the work was done the chimney was power washed to have the old bricks look new again! I highly recommend them!!!

The owners and employs of Sposato were all very helpful and professional before, during, and after my chimney repair. They responded to my calls and questions in a timely manor, squeezed me in to finish the job before the weather changed going into the winter, and completed the job quickly and most importantly...very well. The chimney looks great and the jobsite both inside my home and out, were left neat and clean.

I rarely write reviews. But in this case, I felt I had to. I asked Sposato to come by so they could give me an estimate to repair a cracked firebox in an outdoor fireplace. Rather than pricing it out, they immediately said there was no need to do anything - there was nothing combustible under it, so it would be a waste of money to repair. They also looked at all of my other masonry. I asked them about fixing this or that stonework, and in each case they said, nothing to do at this time. I don't know much about masonry - they could have made work for themselves if they had wanted to. Instead, they were honest. Cheers to an honest business.

Sposato Masonry is one of the very best contractors that I have ever dealt with throughout my 35 years of owning multiple homes! I have tried other masons for rush jobs but I keep going back to Sposato. They have done a set of stairs, a tread replacement, stucco repair, and two beautiful stamped concrete jobs, a walkway and a patio. Particularly if your job is complicated or specialized (one of my homes is 100 years old, stucco), you will be happy that you worked with Sposato. I look forward to doing so again soon!

I had to repair my masonry chimney, built in 1949 - had some spalled and cracked bricks, water was getting inside during a big storm. I received quote from Sposato and and another contractor; contractor quote was $250 more and included only rebuilding concrete crown and sealant over the chimney (even no power wash). In Sposoto quote in addition to previous contractor I also received: new metal cap over two flues, rebuilt three top courses to create drip edge, replacing approx. 18 deteriorated bricks, mortar pointing job in some areas and power wash of my chimney. I am very satisfied with quality of work and provided service, highly recommended. Check yourself, get a few quotes and scope of work proposed by contractors - you will see a difference.

Finding a good mason now a days is hard. Sposato masonry really bailed me out when my mason was a no show. They came on time. They were quick and efficient and stayed until the project was completed. Our house was built in 1910 and the original masonry on the roof needed to get repaired. I was so worried I wasn’t going to be able to find anyone to do such specialized work at a fair price. Well, I was wrong. I found Sposato and they totally delivered. It was a 7 day job and the outcome was excellent. Photos included. They are a company of integrity. One of the workers accidentally stepped on a gutter and partially broke it. I would have never noticed. Instead they told the roofer they were doing the job with to replace it on their dime. Also, they showed up one day and did an hour of work before it started pouring. Didn’t charge me for that. I would recommend them 10 out of 10 times. I never write reviews but the work they Did was so great I felt compelled to do so.

Mike and the team did exceptional work on our chimney, which had to be rebuilt from the roofline up. They were quick, clean and it looks fantastic.

They also rebuilt the top of a brick staircase where old brick had crumbled and they matched the brick incredibly well and made it look good as new.

I hired Sposato to repair my chimney. They were able to fit me in their busy schedule almost immediately. They were very kind and respectful and cleaned up my property afterwards. They replaced the crown and all of the spalling bricks, powerwashed as much paint off as possible, and applied a waterproofing sealant. The chimney looks so much better and I feel confident that they offered the best quality repair in the area. I have no complaints and I am planning to hire them again for the interior repairs I need!

Mike and his crew have done three jobs for me, and both times their work was excellent. Mike really knows everything there is to know about masonry, and his prices are fair. He did a chimney repair that involved rebuilding the top three feet, and he repaired a large basement window well that was collapsing. Mike and his team were great to work with from the initial estimate until the project was complete. We had them build us brand new back steps, fix our front steps (which now look brand new!), and lay a tiered patio. We could not be happier with all of their work! His crew arrived by 8 am and worked until 5:30/6 each day. At the end of each day they ensured the site was clean and ready for the next day of work. Mike thoroughly explained the project, understood what we were looking for, and gave his professional input, which took the project over the top. Mike did the little extras that came up, which made us feel confident in our choice to chose them. One of my gate fence posts recently broke in a storm that was cemented into the driveway. It wasn't part of the job to replace it, but Mike told me they would take care of it for me. It's that extra effort his crew made to replace it, which saved me a big headache. I trusted Mike based upon how thoroughly the job was going and the attention to detail, that we ended up paying him in full the day before the job was completed, just in case we were not around. I had no doubt his crew would show up and finish the job down to the last detail, which they did. They did excellent work and you can trust them with your next project, which if you ever had home improvement work done, is a big deal and tough to find. We have two projects lined up for next year and will bring them back!

Mike the owner came out and gave me an estimate. He seemed more knowledgeable then the other contractors I have gotten estimates from. I gave him the job. His crew showed up 2 week later. They were very polite and work steadily throughout the day. They put tarps down on the grass and I could tell they were being careful not to damage my landscaping. The work was completed within the same day. They cleaned up very well. Chimney looks beautiful and for once no trying to up charge me for anything. I must say it was a pleasure working with Sposato and his team. Wish every other contractor I worked with was as professional as they were.

Our chimney problems were diagnosed professionally with a drone and accompanying pictures. Sposato's masons were prompt and efficient. They did a beautiful job of repointing our old brick chimney. I recommend them highly.

Mike was great to work with, he was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and his pricing was competitive. He repointed my chimney and rebuilt the top of my chimney to creat a new drip edge and crown. He also repointed my front deck and steps. He offered me a more affordable solution than I had originally suggested and saved me money rather than let me up sell myself. He also applied a sealant to both my chimney and deck and the combination of his repairs solved my solved my water issues and improved the look of my home. I would definitely recommend him and he will be my first call for future masonry work.

Several years ago we used Sposato to make repairs on a chimney that another mason had failed to repair a few weeks earlier. Mike diagnosed all of the problems and his crew did an excellent job fixing the chimney. His detailed evaluation of the previous botched job (with photos) enabled me to get a refund from the previous mason. So, when our front walkway, back steps and driveway Belgian block apron needed repairs, we immediately called Sposato to do the work. Again, the crew was professional in demeanor, skilled, attentive to all details, polite and took good care of surrounding lawn/shrubs. They cleaned up well when done. We highly recommend this firm.
