A huge shoutout to Mike & his crew from SOS Tree Service for the removal of a very large 5 trunk tree that threatened the safety of my home. They were very prompt & professional and affordable. SOS came out and removed 3 huge sugar maples from our property. The crew did a amazing job. Had all 3 of our trees down and stumps ground out in a day and a half. They make sure to clean up the yard as well.

Would highly recommend, extremely efficient, very careful about not damaging other trees close by. Excellent work! Excellent crew! Even gave me the crash course for identifying some tree leaves. Very much appreciated. Will definitely be using them again for future work.

I’m not sure where to start. What an absolutely great group of hard working men.

Mike, the owner, was quick to respond and make accommodations with my wants and needs. The crew showed up on time and worked their tails off!

This tree that they were removing was a very very large silver maple tree. If there was a difficulty rating, I would put it at 8/10. Not only was is extremely large, but there was a chain link fence to protect and only 10 ft away from the tree was the power lines.

I have no idea how they were able to accomplish the task without any permanent damage, but they did!

I could go on and on bragging about all of the obstacles that should have resulted in catastrophe, but each and every challenge that was presented with determination and knowledge to deal with each one that resulted in a job well done!

Each and every one of the guys on the crew took their job very seriously and stayed focused but were also very friendly and made an effort to speak with me when they had a moment of down time to spare.

To sum it up, all that I have to say is if you are looking for any kind of service that they offer, just stop looking anywhere else. You are not going to find anyone who will beat their value, price or professionalism.

I was not paid or bribed to leave this feedback. I just think they deserve to be recognized for being an amazing company. In today’s society, this kind of work ethic speaks volumes.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Excellent service! We had part of a tree top come down and was still hanging in a recent storm. The other part of the tree that was still up had a crack and we were concerned for our safety and the safety of our neighbors so we were trying to find someone asap. SOS owner Mike was very responsive and came over as soon as he could and his team immediately began working on the tree. Unfortunately, due to more storms the team couldn’t continue to work that day but they made sure to place rope around the part that was hanging so that it would not fall and damage our fence. They returned quickly and was able to finish the job. Price was very reasonable. We will definitely be calling SOS again with any of our tree problems! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Can't even begin to express just how good S.O.S was when it came to trimming our large walnut tree, they went way above and beyond what was expected,the quote was reasonable, the crew was amazing and best of all the quality of work they did was out of this world, when they were finished they cleaned everything up and you couldn't even tell they were ever here...I'd give them 10 stars if I could and will definitely call on them again in the future!!

After a nasty wind storm these guys were already scanning the streets for downed trees. I had a tree leaning at a dangerous 45 degree angle. They were there the next morning taking it down. And just a day later all the wood and brush has been carried away and cleaned up. Great hardworking crew, fast, and courteous!

Mike and the crew removed about 20 large trees around my house and workshop. Most of the trees directly threatened the structures, but they dropped every tree safely. They were fast, professional and worked together like a well oiled machine. It's nice to see such great teamwork. They stacked the wood in piles at my request and they even cleaned up all the litter when they were done. I will definitely be calling these guys the next time I need a job done right.

The way they left the logs stacked, the grapple on my tractor will make quick work of them.

They even put me in touch with a lumber broker for the larger logs, so I can recoup some of my cost.

UPDATE: They did such a great job that we brought them to my place of work to trim a large elm tree full of dead wood. They left the place so clean we started parking under the tree immediately. There were no limbs or piles of chips, so the lawn care guys could mow under it without any cleanup. Definitely will continue using Mike, Will and the crew.

SOS did a great job of clearing about a dozen trees that had fallen over our driveway and in our yard after a terrible June 2022 storm. We also had them remove some additional older trees. The crew was professional, fast, knowledgeable, and worked well as a team. They knew a lot about trees and had great experience to do the job right. They also had great equipment that helped them do the job efficiently. They cut down very large trees, removed fallen trees, chipped all the brush and removed it from our property, leaving our property in great shape. They even raked away smaller pieces of brush and used a leaf blower to blow the last bits of dust off the driveway. Our property looks great and I’m so relieved to be able to put that storm behind us. Thank you SOS!

Mike and his crew did an amazing job removing a tree and grinding two stumps and clearing a pile of brush. They were in and done in one hour. Very professional and provides high quality work. They do great at cleaning up also. Highly recommend!

SOS came out and took care of our very dead tree and three stumps. We couldn’t be any happier with the service we received, they were in and out! They cleaned up absolutely everything from the tree/stumps. We highly recommend and will be using again if needed!

Needed 5 very large tree's trimmed when we moved into our home recently. They had been neglected for years by previous owners and were creating a nuisance with nut's dropping and safety concerns to passing traffic due to overhangs. Mike and his crew (including Rand the tree man :)) Had this situation squared away in 3.5 hours. A well organized and efficient operation. They have a customer for life. And, Mike also serves the community as a fireman. A pleasure to work with.

We hired SOS Tree Service to remove a large poplar tree that towered over our house. Every wind storm had us nervous that another branch would fall and go through the roof (happened twice).

The SOS owner and team gave us a quote that was very affordable, they gave us an estimated time frame of when the work would be done (and stuck to that time frame), they had the equipment to do the job right, and the team was nice to my family and professional as they worked.

I highly appreciated the job they did, and would hire them again in an instant. Easily five stars!

SOS came recommended by a neighbor. By third attempt at contact (phone, email, and note left at house) I received an appointment to just drop 2x dead ash trees. First appointment then got pushed to next week, afternoon timeframe. Called at 5pm and they said their bucket truck broke and they would be there tomorrow...this at 5pm, no heads up call, no email, nothing. I cancelled on the spot, no apologies offered by owner
