Shoemaker Roofing did an OUTSTANDING job replacing our entire roof! Alex Shoemaker was extremely detailed and all his brothers were super informative! They cleaned everything up after the left and I have full confidence in this company!

Shoemaker replaced the roof on my house and 3 car workshop and also replaced 4 skylights. They were a great help with my insurance company and handled any difficulties quickly and kept me informed the whole way through. My job, sealing a low-slope/flat roof on my screen porch, was a small job for Shoemaker. But that did not relegate me to the bottom of the list. The work done here is excellent, the price was fair, and the Shoemaker folks are terrific.

Shoemaker was the first roofers on the scene and when I told them that my roof was leaking causing damage to my house, they responded , explained everything to me and got my roof completed in one days time . their staff were all friendly and personable. Having some issues with our roof vents and a few missing shingles the first contractor wanted us to spend thousands of dollars if we did not replace the complete roof. I had a previous homes roof replaced by Shoemaker so I gave them a call. After the inspection the first thing they told me is don't let anybody tell you your roof needs replaced. Was told the could do the repairs time and material that it was not a lot to worry about. $250.00 they completed the repairs. Great to work with a honest contractor and would highly recommend.

I used to flip houses. I've had so many problems with Contractors over the years, I literally put off getting a new roof on my own home because I simply didn't think there were any honest ones out there. Luckily, I ran across someone who used to work for Shoemaker. He absolutely raved about their quality, skill & honesty. I felt if an EX-employee raved about them, I'd at least get an estimate & see how I felt from there.
I really liked they are a family owned business, started by the Father. Now all the Sons are involved. I also liked the way they gave estimates. They broke down everything (in writing) & meticulously went over it with me, which mostly answered all my questions.
Shoemaker was not the least expensive, but I felt I could trust them. Piece of mind definitely has a monetary value.
They are all very professional, knowledgeable & considerate people.
I have a vintage car in my driveway I couldn't move. They brought huge foam cushions to lay on top, just in case something accidentally fell on it. Details like that also showed in their finished product. Their crew was fast & really knew what they were doing. I was so surprised/impressed they completed everything in 1 day. I'm sure the quality of my new roof has added value to my home.

Our 3 year old roof developed a leak between Christmas & New Years. The firm responded immediately, set up a priority appointment and identified & repaired a number of small problems in about an hour. This is the second time that we have utilized Shoemaker Roofing. First time was our business in Mount Vernon and this last time was due to the tornado storms back in June of this year . It is hard to believe that a company with the strength and technical expertise to do large commercial jobs can be as caring and personal on residential jobs as is Shoemaker roofing. When we contracted them to redo our roof, they stuck by the provisions of the contract to restore the roof in spite of the significant existing damage to the underlayment that was discovered when they removed the old shingles. And then, as gift (to a senior citizen), they have come back in subsequent Falls to remove leaves and branches and clean the skylights (!!!). Yes, we heartily recommend Shoemaker Roofing.

My roof was leaking and needed repaired quickly. Got several quotes which were all comparative in price. What made me go with Shoemaker was their attention to details and the way they explained every part of the process.
My roof was not that old but once the installation started it was clear to them why the roof failed. All these items were corrected and communicated to me during the process to ensure the longevity of the new roof.

I shopped around and got a couple estimates. Shoemaker roofing came to my house to go over their estimate with me. They brought pictures of my roof and had step by step plans as to what they were going to do with my roof down to the specific nail they would use. They showed me what they would do using the pictures of my old roof. The attention to detail and professionalism was outstanding. I ended up going with them and could not be happier with the workmanship and peace of mind I have from going with them. This is a family run business and am glad that I could support them as a company. They got my roof done in one day... ONE DAY! Ripped off my old roof, replaced plywood, cut new vent and had new roof installed. Unfortunately, I had fallen asleep as I work night shift so could not see my new roof until the next morning. When I walked out at 630am the next day, I was shocked at how beautiful it was. I will be forever grateful to Shoemaker roofing for the work they did and how professional they are.

Absolutely loved Shomaker Roofing. Prices were reasonable, owners highly professional, provided timely inspection and estimate of old roof for replacement (were really honest about it really DID need replacement), brought estimate to house to go over in person so my husband and I understood every detail of what they would provide, went so far as to take us to ABC Construction so we could see what the option we choose would look like and took us to a home where that color had been used on the home so we could see the finished product. They showed up on time to do the work and did a highly professional job in replacing the roof and did a superb job of cleaning up when the job was done. We LOVE the roof!!!!! Plus owners and workers were very pleasant and nice and we enjoyed talking to them and getting to know them. We had four estimates and we're happy to see we truly made the right choice in choosing Shoemakers!!!!!! HIGHLY recommend them!!!!!! Just don't think you could get anyone better!!!!!!!

Shoemaker Roofing repaired the flashing around our chimney. We had a very positive experience. They were very professional from start to finish. Neither professional nor prompt - very poor customer service

Called and initially was pleased that they could get someone out same day on a Tuesday to look at my roof in which we had found a leak. I had an errand that took longer than I thought, but my husband was home to receive the employee who was to take the photos. Took some brief photos of the outside only, didn’t look in attic per husband.

Waited 3 days and when I heard nothing, I called on Friday morning before I started work. They answered the phone but I promptly received a gruff request to call back since they were in a meeting. Once they returned my call later that morning I was told that my roof was probably too old to work on a patch and that may run into an ever-expanding area that may need to be replaced since it may be hard to feather in new roof. I was offered a rate per hour with an unknown number of hours to patch the area. When I asked what a quote would be potentially for replacing the entire roof if it is sooo old to compare the pros and cons of patching vs. replacing the roof I was told they would have to request an Eagleview and then I would receive a quote by the following Tuesday. Here we are entirely 1 week past that following Tuesday and still have heard nothing.

The only thing that I can think of for why they would not call me back to get my potential business for an entire replacement of my roof is possible racism. They were very friendly on my initial phone call, and came out very quickly same day. But maybe they were not so happy when they came to my home to find my Latino husband receiving them. Needless to say I will not be calling back to try to force my business on them but will happily be looking elsewhere.

Outstanding company that I would not hesitate to use again. Extremely knowledgeable, craftsmanship is top notch. Took the time to inspect every detail of the job with me to ensure my concerns were addressed. Overall just a great group of people that I thoroughly enjoyed working with.

All the staff at shoemaker roofing were very professional and kind during the whole process. They exceeded my expectations by tarping off everything to protected sidewalks and plants. Every night they would neatly fold everything up, leaf blow and put patio furniture back. At the end of my job the roof looked great and all debris cleaned up. You never knew they where there. This company is awesome! From the top to the down! Thanks to Alex for working with me and letting me know the progress and keeping in touch with me. I showed up to see the progress as this was for my father and too my surprise the owner was there. The foreman of the crew saw me and immediately came to me, knowing my name and let me know the progress. I thanked the crew and let them know it was looking good, and they stopped for a minute to say thank you. And all this was done on the hottest day of the year.

This was such a good experience. I highly recommend them. The updates as the roof replacement was occurring was great. Good communication over all from quote, contract, and finishing the job. All the guys I worked with were great and you can tell they take great pride in their work.

Of course months later I am now writing this, but I have wonderful news, I have yet to require a tetanus shot or have a flat tire. I have been through 2 prior roofing jobs (in Columbus) I have always stepped on a nail and found shingle pieces around.. in addition to getting a flat tire on my vehicle. Not the case with Shoemaker Roofing. Everything was cleaned up, gutters spotless, landscaping was just the way I left it. AMAZING!

Terrible customer service. I contacted Randy Shoemaker and he was supposed to give me a quote within a few days and he never got back to me so I decided to wait about two weeks and I called him. He answered and said he would let me know within the next day what it would be. Once again never called back. I gave it another day and I called him once again. This time he simply hung up on me. Unbelievable!
