Our mold remediation process went well. Josh and Tyler kept us informed with each step and were impeccably clean and professional.

This winter we had a puff back from a fireplace that resulted in soot being sent all over our entire house. We contacted Soil-Away and are so glad we did.

At intake we spoke with Josh who helped to explain the process and sent Cher and Amanda out for an assessment of damage and general estimate of what the remediation project would entail. We had one other company come out for an assessment; ultimately we felt so much better going with Soil-Away because they made us feel confident that they would do a thorough job and they had such a respectful and empathetic demeanor.

Amanda and her team did an amazing job! They were in our home cleaning for ~8 days and they were so kind, communicative and accommodating throughout the duration. Our house was spotless after the team was done.

The whole Soil-Away team was so great -- Amanda and Cher were in the details supporting the cleaning of each room and each item, Charles was helpful with regard to navigating the insurance claim process, and it felt like Jack, Josh and Tommy were just a call away whenever we had a question or concern.

Understanding, Sympathetic, Professional.

We flooded for the first time ever at our place. Long story short, all of the water removal was on us, rather than our condo association stepping up and helping.

We did everything we could, we removed the finished flooring we had, used a dehumidifier to get the excess moisture out of the air and tried our best to dry out the basement.

Unfortunately after a few months, I noticed that there was some black spots on the outside of the sheetrock. That's when I went to do some research about companies that specialize in this area. Soil Away came up and I was impressed by their reviews and ratings.

Alex came out to do an inspection and gather some information and he even showed me in some places some mold growth that I would have never noticed.

The staff came out, ensured all protocols were followed for mold removal and cleaning, and even recommended a good service for moving the furnace from the wall to finalize the remediation.

Soil Away is a company I would use in the future and recommend them for their timeliness, professionalism, and courtesy.

The team at Soil-Away did a phenomenal job remediating mold at a house I’m flipping. Their construction division then came in and expertly put it back together. Communication throughout the entire process far exceeded expectations.

A shout out to the Soil Away technician, Steve, who worked on mold removal in a very tight space, removing wall and floorboards. Steve was knowledgable, professional, and completed the job in good time with impeccable clean up!

One of the worst experiences of my life.

My wife and I had a fire at our home Feb 2023. Knowing very little of how to handle the next steps, we were referred to Soil Away, and what a mistake this was.

Promises not kept, damage done, having to stay on top of them, hate speech on our walls…it was awful.

My manager for site was Tommy, saw maybe twice. Instead of Tommy, we had his gf and bunch of workers that were hired straight out of half houses. Just what you want after your home was in a fire - want to worry about who is in your home with your belongings.

Gets better - you have to watch, then see them screw up, take their time as they record more hours. Things aren’t done, rooms are fully cleaned, things get destroyed.

Do you really want more? Okay. How about a worker who sprays the nazi sign into your walls? Talk about a company you want cleaning your home.

I will say - Tommy gf cleans, but you need to stay on top of it to make sure it’s done. We had to ask for the documents to get what was lost by them.

But Tommy was never there. As the person who went through the fire, I shouldn’t have to call and ask why items and rooms are cleaned completely in time when they are requesting $60,000.

Do your homework. Look elsewhere before trying Soil Away.

Soil-Away was very professional and their staff was great. They were all very knowledgable, courteous, handled themselves well, friendly and helpful. They did a fantastic job and I feel much better knowing that my mold remediation is complete and the job was done correctly and thoroughly.

Buying a new house and finding mold can seem like a huge undertaking, especially when my dog is severely allergic. We found what we assumed was mold in our residence during the fall and it was confirmed by testing. Soil-Away was recommended to us and we contacted them immediately. Every one ; owner, cleaning crew and staff are responsive, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Calls are answered promptly, and the owner talked with us and followed up with us as needed. Their response was quick; they met with us, assessed the situation, and developed a plan. They used the Esporta system to clean or clothing and textiles. The structure was cleaned from top to bottom in just a few days. Soil-Away made a stressful situation easier! We couldn’t have asked for better service.

My son flooded our upstairs bathroom. So much so it went down 2 more floors of our house. Once we realized how bad the situation was, we called Soil Away and they came out that very same day. These guys were very thorough. I felt like we were in capable hands during an awful situation. Everyone was nice, professional. My family and I felt like we were really taken care of. Very grateful I called these guys.

My basement office area was found to have moisture and black mold. Soil-Away did an excellent job of removing all of the affected wallboard and flooring and treating everything. They came promptly and did an excellent cleaning job.

I recently had water damage to my basement that required removal of my flooring and cutting back of sheetrock and trim. I had used Soilaway for a number of years for carpet cleaning ,so called Josh to get an estimate, and estimate was completed next day, signed off and my crew was here the next week to do the job. The crew, led by Nick Lavoie, included Nate Spooner,Shawn Nichols and Kevin Cox. Those guys busted their hump in some hot ugly working conditions, but left my place as good as possible considering the damage. Jack and Josh Soilaway were both great in coordinating the arrival and work schedule for the team. Just by way of comparison, one company, Brand S, was about two weeks late with their quote, and another Brand S never even bothered to submit a quote after sending someone out to look at the job. Soilaway was the best to work with by far

I am blessed to be able to write this review for the wonderful, professional work that my husband and I received from Jack and his wonderful team. My husband had back surgery, with the result of paralysis from the waist down. Jack came to our rescue and was part of a team that had a ramp installed within 24 hours for my husband to return home from rehab. I will be referring him to everyone that comes across my path. We actually met with a Social Worker yesterday and I provided her with his information. You rock Jack!!!! Forever grateful.

We had a "puff-back" from our boiler that covered the entire house in greasy soot. Soil-Away did an outstanding job at cleaning up this mess. They provided teams of professionals that started with washing everything; walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, appliances, virtually our entire house and its contents were scrubbed at one point or another. They were so thorough that even ceiling tiles, drywall, and insulation were replaced in most areas in the finished basement. The attic was stripped of all bats of insulation and replaced with new blown-in insulation.

Throughout the whole experience we were kept up to date with what they were doing through daily personal chats from the crew and follow-ups via emails and phone calls. We were even given a personal advocate to work with us and our insurance company; taking away the stress of having to relay information back and forth through the process.

I can’t say enough about Soilaway’s incredible response to our emergency situation at our cottage property last week. Soilaway did a great job! They were hired to remediate mold that was in the attic of our house. An unintended accident happened where some of the ceiling was damaged while completing the mold remediation. It was handled so professionally and fixed without any issues. I called Soil-Away about cleaning out my sisters condo that was kind of in rough shape. I sent Jack some pictures to get a rough idea of cost to clean it out and do a deep clean and power scrub the floors. We agreed on a price, gave him a deposit and his crew showed up the next day. His crew was awesome. They cleaned the place out taking care not to throw out anything of value. The next day they came back with the deep clean crew, again they were awesome. Amanda worked with my sister at cleaning out the kitchen. She helped her through getting rid of stuff that was no good and was very patient with her. Since day one, I’ve known the owner, Jack, to be a hard-working and selfless leader. Through the efforts of him and his team, he was able to restore my flooded restaurant to tip-top shape. My basement had two inches of sewer water from a internal backup in the drains. The whole basement was flooded and carpeted. I had a lot of stuff. Adam and his crew were excellent. Would hire again in a heart beat. Have now used their Mold Remediation services twice (2 different issues. Not only did they remediate the mold they fixed the cause of the mold. Tim, our technician, was patient and accommodating during the rebuild. He took excellent care of us. Wouldn't call anyone else, these guys are the best!
