We have used Andrew Webster (Soap Stone Construction) for a number of projects over the years. At our prior home, he installed wood flooring and replaced damaged siding. He also installed replacement windows and a sliding glass door. We also greatly benefited from his inspection and evaluation of existing houses we were considering before we purchased our current home. He is a meticulous craftsman, knowledgeable of building codes and best practices, and very honest and fair in his billing.

Andrew has helped me with several projects around our house - the most recent being a remodel of our garage into a mudroom, laundry room and 2 multipurpose rooms. His advice and partnership through the design process was great, and his execution of the plan turned out amazing. We love our repurposed space!

Working with Andrew and Soap Stone was truly a pleasure. My kitchen remodel turned out beautiful, on time and on budget. I was out of town most of the time and Andrew kept me well informed of what was happening. We asked Andrew Webster to build us a deck and to put a handrail on our front steps.

The deck was finished in just about two days to our complete satisfaction! He worked quietly and diligently to finished our deck and completely cleaned up the work area before leaving our yard. We have a beautiful work product and can enjoy our outdoor space once again.

The handrail Andrew installed for us is quite sturdy and well fastened to the cement steps. The rail is exactly what we needed to make our front steps safe.

Andrew Webster is pleasant and courteous and delivers what he has promised, on time and within budget. The bids for both jobs were reasonable yet competitive.

We will gladly hire him again!

Andrew and his team have done everything from installing a walk-in shower to re-dry walling a ceiling to painting a great room for me. I have had them in three times and will have them again! They are efficient, detail oriented, on time, friendly, and spend their time working steadily. This is a company that you should hire!

Andrew did some work in our house, finishing up some odd jobs for us (drywall, trim, etc.). He was professional in every way: listening to our wants/desires, asking questions when needed, offering suggestions, and even being considerate of a child in the house (coming and going quietly, working quietly, asking when nap times were). His work was exceptional and left our house cleaned up and without a trace he was even here (aside from the great work he completed). Would highly recommend Andrew with Soap Stone Construction!

I can’t say enough good things about Andrew Webster and Soap Stone Construction but I will try to condense my commentary.
Andrew has worked on various projects at our home over the last 10 years. It started out with small repairs to larger ones like the completion of our basement. He’s done exterior work as well. Each time the results the same with complete satisfaction from someone with professionalism, expertise and dependability. In addition a decent human being and no we are not related but he could be my son. Don’t let his youthful appearance mislead you because he is quite skilled and knowledgeable plus reasonable pricing for projects. Thanks for the opportunity to give a review .

We are very happy with the work done by Soapstone Construction. Andrew is very knowledge and pleasant to deal with. His work is done carefully and with great attention to detail! Works at finding ways to save money and still provide a quality high end look.

I had Andrew replace some siding this fall and couldn't be happier with the results. He was very fair with the costs, prompt and cleaned up afterwards. I plan on asking him to replace a couple of windows next spring.
