Customer feedback for Shaw & Shaw Vinyl Siding Home Repair is predominantly positive, highlighting their prompt and professional service. Many customers praised their quick response to inquiries, timely estimates, and effective communication throughout the repair process. The workmanship received high marks, with several reviews noting the company's attention to detail and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. However, there is a significant negative review regarding a siding repair that did not match the existing siding, which was compounded by poor follow-up on the company's part. While the majority of customers recommend their services, this serious complaint affects the overall perception of the company.
- They were quick to assess and replace the damage.
- David was very polite and professional, completing the estimate and work the same day.
- The workmanship is outstanding and the pricing is very reasonable.
- They kept me informed with everything they were doing.
- Shaw & Shaw is truly a company that takes pride in its work.
- The new siding did not match the old siding and they failed to follow up despite several texts.
- They promised to 'do whatever they could to make it right' but never returned.

Had some damage to one of the panels by the roof. Called them up and they were quick to assess and replace the damage. Great Father and Son team and will probably call them in the future for any quick repairs.

I had a minor vinyl siding repair job completed 3/28/23. Shaw & Shaw came out in the evening and replaced a few pieces of siding. They said the new siding would look close enough to the old siding that we would not notice the difference. Once we had a chance to look at it during daylight hours you could really notice the difference. When I contacted them to let them know how noticeable the difference was, they said that they would "do whatever they could to make it right". That was on 3/31/23. After several follow-up texts over these last few months, they have never made it back to our home to "do whatever they can to make it right". My last text to Shaw & Shaw was sent 8/23/23 with no response. I do not take any pleasure in writing a negative review, but I am an advocate for good customer service, which I do not believe we received in this instance. Buyers beware.

OMG!! SHAW & SHAW VINYL SIDING HOME REPAIR IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! We were looking earnestly for a professional that could repair the vinyl siding on our home, that was broken all up on the sides and back, by a lawn care company (THAT DIDN'T TELL US THEY BROKE UP OUR SIDING). I went on google, and found Shaw & Shaw, and what a God send!!! Young man Shaw was so professional, and came out with his good boots on, looked at our home, said he could get it done by the end of the week!! He took a sample on Monday, and he was actually ready on Thursday, but I had to be out of town. So, he still came on Friday, and our house looks like it's still brand new!! He called every time to let me know when he was on the way! It doesn't get any better than Shaw & Shaw!! Honestly, now that I know they do soooooooooooooo much more than vinyl siding, they are going to ALWAYS be my very first call!! This is DEFINITELY a family business you should invest in!!!

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
