SERVPRO of Norfolk

The reps who came to my house were nice but know nothing of their billing, I asked for a quote and have asked for an itemized invoice several times since Oct. 2024, they still have not provided me with one.
While the fans were in my house, I called several times for an update and was made to feel like I was an inconvenience because they didn’t want to give me the information. Originally the fan were set to be in the house for 5 days, they were there for 14 days. I asked about talking with their contractor and was told my house was not a priority, so I contacted my own contractor to complete the repairs.
I would not work with the company again.

Strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND. After having a water leak in our basement, they gave us an estimate stating they would repair the walls, carpet and dry everything up. Come to find out their company doesn't repair walls, carpet or clean the carpets. They left our basement a complete disaster with a high electrical bill. They don't communicate at all and when you call with a complaint about their work, they won't call you back. Of course our bill was increased by $1,000 after they found out our insurance would be involved.

Servpro cleaned out our furnace ducts after we had installed a new furnace and they did a great job. They spent all day here until they finished the job throughly. Good job, I would recommend servpro to anyone that needs their furnace ducts cleaned ! They were very courteous and polite to work with!

Very poor job we told them to through everything away and they kept things charged us 9,000 to clean things. We had a house fire told them through tvs and appliances away we got them back charged us a ridiculous amount they don’t work. Already purchased new so we had had to rent huge dumpsters to throw everything away. We got other peoples things back that wasn’t even ours I called numerous times and they said just disregard them. So I’m sorry to whoever didn’t get things back I tried. When we would’ve been better off hiring high school kids pay them 20hr and through everything away. They charged us 60,000 for all this I had to settle with 40,000 but as my contractor said and agreed with me high school kids would’ve been cheaper. Because I’ve spent 1,000’s of dollars getting rid of things and my time. They sealed the walls in basement but didn’t clean the walls before they sealed it. So now I have to spray killz paint on the wall they didn’t clean the cement floor left carpet in basement as my contractor did all of that.i had curio cabinets that they didn’t replace glass as they said they would. Total waste of money and I feel terrible for all the people they take advantage of. The kids who suffered bringing all the boxes at the where very kind and respectful but owners themselves were arrogant and my contractor said the clothes they could’ve saved they took themselves.so if your gonna charge me for everything then I expect to get it back not just what you wanna give back. If you have a disaster look into a cheaper way. Total waste of money and now my time!

I just wanted to leave a good review for these guys. We came home from a vacation and our basement was flooded. We called them to come suck up the water. We were told we would get a phone call letting us know that someone would come tonight, but we never received one, so we ended up calling someone local. Lo and behold they ended up showing up while the other place was here. We felt so bad that they drove 45 minutes just to have to turn around and drive back. Even though I am sure they were frustrated and upset they were very kind and even offered their services in the future. We truly feel so horrible. There was just some miscommunication. If you read this guys we are so sorry!

I highly recommend Serv-Pro of Norfolk for all your cleaning needs. We had some smoke damage in our center and Serv-Pro came out the day after I called to check it out and give us an estimate. (We are located over 2 hours from Norfolk.) They scheduled a date for cleaning soon after and worked seamlessly with our insurance company to ensure all the paperwork got taken care of. The guys that came out to clean were efficient, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. They cleaned the walls, carpets, & ductwork and also ran some air cleaning machines. The following week I received a follow-up call to be sure everything was cleaned to our standards and the smoke smell was completely gone. I couldn't be more pleased! Thank you Serv-Pro!

I was a nervous wreck when I had a plumbing failure in the basement of my home. I called ServPro straight away asking for assistance. They were at my home within an hour (35 miles from their office!). From the minute Josh arrived and explained what they were going to do, I KNEW I had made the right call. 2 days later - water gone, area clean & DRY! The water line to our refrigerator’s ice machine ruptured while we were on a family vacation on the East Coast. ServPro was in our home less than two hours after we were notified of the water damage. They were reassuring and quickly had the situation under control so that we could continue with our vacation. Josh was an exceptional communicator and shared photos with us as he and his team mitigated the damage. We arrived back to a home that was ready for reconstruction-personal items were carefully packed; the house was dry and there were no odors; everything was accounted for; a large area rug had even been taken to their facility to be cleaned; and Josh followed up with us within 24 hours of our return. Unexpected damage to our home was traumatic and compounded by the fact that we were thousands of miles away. Josh and Company were professional, calm, attentive, reassuring, and so capable. We will be forever grateful that they were called to our home to provide their expert service. We absolutely recommend this company without reservation.

Very professional and friendly. They were able to bring my 30+ yr-old carpet back to brand new. They also cleaned my white couch and chair. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has carpet or furniture cleaning needs.

I have carpet that is 10 years old and only been cleaned using my Hoover. Decided to have it cleaned professionally and asked ServPro to come in and clean it. It made quite a difference. It looks refreshed. Feels soft and smells good too. I was both shocked and horrified with sewer issues when gone during the day. I called ServPro. They helped me out instantly. They were prompt to arrive at my home on a Friday after 4:30PM and had the tools on hand to work on my bathroom that was splattered with sewer water. EVERYWHERE! Dylan, Anna and Josh did an amazing job and reassured me that all was back to normal in our bathroom. I can’t thank them enough for the job they did. Nothing but professional and courteous. I would rather not go through through any other clean up business. The technicians are very knowledgeable about the work that they perform. Some of the nicest people I've had the opportunity to hire. They are also very thorough. The way that they document every step of the process makes dealing with insurance a breeze. Zero headaches on my end when working with insurance. Adam (owner) and Josh with SERVPRO were outstanding. They called to confirm when they would arrive. I had them clean my air ducts and the quote was honored no matter how bad my ducts were. My ducts have not been done since I have owned my home and the home was built in 1969.

The before and after photos and videos were jaw dropping. It was great to see how well they were cleaned and the comfort of knowing I have clean air flow in my home now.

Servpro cleaned and shampooed the carpet in my house last week. They were extremely professional and did an amazing job. The final product was much better than the people who did it last time and they charged me substantially less. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs any of their services.

I had ripped up carpet and removed it from my basement and upon inspection I noticed a couple of questionable spots along the baseboards. When I contacted Servpro at about 8 PM on a Saturday evening the lady connected me with my local Servpro business. The gentleman called me within a half hour and stated that he was currently on my side of town at another job and would be able to swing by quickly. I let him know that I had Carpet coming the next day and I needed to know if I had to treat these questionable spots before my install. He conducted a full inspection with his special cameras to identify moisture and looked at the questionable spots. He explained what he saw and that there was no need to treat. Servpro was thorough, professional, and courteous!

Andy and Adam were very knowledgeable and professional when it came to my flooded home. They were quick to arrive and had everything taken care of in 3 days. Thank you guys for all the help!
