I would like to thank and praise Ryan, the owner and Philip Almanza, the estimator of a ND Servpro Franchize for outstanding service, consideration to my property and the prompt service they provided. I cannot say enough about the work ethic of this Servpro company from North Dakota that jumped in to help us recover from the devastation Milton thrust upon us July 9, 2024. They were easy to work with and quick to respond in spite of the high demand for service. They were sympathetic for what we are all going through in a cleanup effort. Work was completed quicker than originally anticipated and I am pleased with the result. Thank you so much!!!

(EDIT) to my original comment to respond to owner's response. The numerous calls and messages were to go over estimates for repair. In my original post I spoke about lack of clarity/transparency in costs from the beginning. Like how much does it cost for the diagnosis of a problem and build the estimate of repairs. When I asked I just got an answer along the line of "it depends"

Pretty unfortunate experience. Called about an issue potentially related to work they were recently contracted for with previous owners. (Ended up not being related) But I asked anyways. It was unclear from the beginning how much each part of the process would cost, even after trying to clarify couldn't get a clear answer. Numerous people came by and poked around to rule things out. Still wasn't getting transparency on costs at this point. Then I finally got a verbal explanation of cause (ended up being wrong but beside the point). I elected to not hire them to do any remediation work. Then later got a hefty invoice. I'm not trying to bash anyone, in fact all the personnel were terrific, but the lack of transparency of costs was pretty frustrating.

The team was very quick with their response!! They had all the proper tools and equipment to dry our space out quickly and efficiently. They monitored everything until we were completely dried out. I would highly recommend them!!

The rates that ServPro charges are absolutely criminal. If you need immediate work, steer clear of this company. I was quoted less than half their price by two other professional mitigation companies.

Being new to North Dakota, my basement flooded while I was out of town, and I didn't know who to call. Unfortunately, ServPro took advantage of my urgent situation. Despite claiming they were "processing a quote," there was no timely follow-through. They were on-site for 24 hours and billed me a staggering $6,000! All they did was vacuum about a quarter-inch of water and set up around 10 fans, with another dozen fans just lying in a corner, unused.

To make matters worse, they got mud on my walls and new couch, despite promising to avoid that piece of furniture. If you're in an emergency, avoid ServPro at all costs. Look elsewhere for professional and fair-priced service.

Julian made the process super smooth for me, his guys Fonzi, and Steven did an amazing job! Great group of guys who went above and beyond and were super nice to my kids. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Thanks guys!

The guys were very professional and did a great job on our carpets. They worked very efficiently and covered all the areas that we asked. I would definitely use them again!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. The service doesn't even deserve to be doing business legally, the technician who represented them, he wanted to take the job without a writing estimate that I requested before even trying to perform anything further actions into my house, he opened the screen on his tablet & told me to sign to start the repairs into my house.... I wonder if this is how they get business? Their modus operandum.... SIGN BLINDINGLY?....
They place 2 equipments for 2 days & they over charged me for 3 days.... if you want to get your house fix with honesty & professionalism stay away from these people!!!.
I ended up calling the local competitor & what a difference, the same day I got my estimate in writing & next day they started working!. I couldn't be happier that I walked away from a scam like this!!!!....

The team mobilized within an hour of filing a claim with my insurance company, they quickly got my house headed in the right direction and even kept an eye on it over the holidays. I would highly recommend them!

I love everyone that helped me get through my 3 month nightmare. Exceptionally kind and understanding with me having to file 2 insurance claims until I found the true cause of the issue. They held my hand through everything and assured me that it was going to be as good as new. I would give them a 10 out of 5 rating.

Servpro was great! They showed up on time and did an amazing job. I'll never forget watching 5 guys tiptoe past my daughters room to not wake her up during her nap time. They were super knowledgeable/professional and we always felt like they knew what they were doing. Special shoutout to Ricky for leading the initial team and going above and beyond by crawling into my attic to look for water when I was too fat to do so. Also, shoutout to Charles for coordinating all of the follow up that needed to be done and handling my million questions. Everyone else was great too but it was a stressful time and I didn't write down names.

If you have water damage, don't hesitate to call Servpro. It's been several months now and all of the repairs have held up perfectly and we have had no additional problems. You can't even tell there was damage to begin with.

The people in charge always made sure we were informed about what they were going to do and the time schedule involved.
The guys on the work crew arrived on time and were very good at cleaning up before they left every day.
SERVPRO cared about our feelings and concerns throughout the whole project. We would definitely recommend them for any project you may have.

Thank you to Lance, Cathy, and Danny for being professional and kind. They answered all my questions and tried hard to get a spot out of my carpet. I expected it to not come out fully, but they certainly tried.

SERVEPRO sent Julian to our apartments to address the past flooding problem, to make sure we have no mold/spores in the air. He was very understanding in everything we said to him about the flood and our concerns. It was an over all great experience.

Steven did an amazing job and was really fast. Didn’t expect my carpets to look as good as they turned out. Will be using again for the future

The Minot team is always responsive and helpful. I had a reoccurring sewage issue that was out of town and they came out quickly, and always do great work.

I called requested a quote for a move out cleaning that was time sensitive. They called the day they were suppose to show up saying they probably couldn't make it. Then quoted me 4500$ to clean an upstairs portion of a house we are talking less 1000sqft probably closer to 800 without cleaning the floors saying it would take three people 3 days. Absolutely asanine I whole heatedly believe they just didn't want to do it or were trying to take advantage of me either way don't waste you time or effort with these circus clowns

Alex and Evan did a fantastic job handling our project. They were beyond professional. They made a bad experience good with their demeanor, kindness and professional. Thanks for a job well done!

They charged me for a service that never happened. My house was locked, they never reached out to me to get in. I have no idea hoy I got a charge for a quote of something that never happened. That never happened. Office lady said it would be $250 due to them being close by, ended up being $520. A bunch of lies. I reached out to them for a quote. Communication was horrible. The person doing the service at location and the office lady don't communicate with each other. The service guy was close by my address, so I wasn't going to get charged for fuel and other fees. According to the lady in the office. Customer service should be a priority, and you guys should be professional. After all, that's the name of your company, how ironic. These people should be ashamed of ripping people off. Gave them a star because I couldn't go lower.

Basement backed up at 5:07pm and I called Servpro in Minot. The gal sent two gentleman one named Rudy and the other Rudee…GREAT guys! These two guys not only did a great job but they took pride in the work they were doing. It was refreshing to see these two working with such positive attitudes.

Both Alex and Rudy were both awesome! They answered all my questions and gave me all of the information I needed. Very professional and very friendly.

He went over everything that would take place walked me through each step and was always in touch with me letting me know when he was coming and what time to expect him. Walking into your office on Monday morning and finding a flood, is never ideal...but SERVPRO of Minot made the experience much less painless! They were extremely professional and worked tirelessly to have us back in our office as quickly as possible, (abating any and all health & safety issues along the way). We could not be more pleased and would recommend SERVPRO of Minot to anyone with a similar "not-so-great" catastrophe!

Highly recommend...SERVPRO has great service, helpful and informative employees. At my place of work, we had a water pipe bust over a long weekend and water was EVERYWHERE. We called SERVPRO to help with the disaster...they showed up immediately. We are very pleased with the work they did at the office. I would (and will) recommend SERVPRO to anyone that unfortunately finds a pool in their home or place of work.

The worst experience. Absolutely zero communication with the people who went into my home while I was at work to clean the carpets before or after, they lost the measurements of the carpets they cleaned and had to involve my former property manager to get in to remeasure and it wasn’t until weeks later that they call to get payment and say bye without ever telling me a price. The lack of care and professionalism was beyond awful.

I had them come to my house to vacuum up some sewer backup in a little room with a concrete floor and a puddle in an adjacent room and they charged me 653 dollars and were here less than two hours. I was here the whole time and saw what was done. They are a rip-off. I had most of it done by the time they got here. I’m giving them a one because there workers were very polite young men. Recommend do not use.

EXCELLENT JOB, I never thought they would get the stains from the carpet in my rental. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, FIVE STAR RATING ! The staff has been PROMPT, COURTEOUS and PROFESSIONAL on every occasion. Also, their staff is professionally dressed in Servpro uniform which identifies them immediately. Give them a call, they will even come late or on weekends when you need them!
