SERVPRO of Dover/Middletown

The ServoPro guys came and cleaned my drier vents out today. They were friendly and did a great job. They kept me informed of what they were doing and even carried in my groceries when they were delivered. I recommend 10/10

I hired ServPro Delaware to clean carpets in a home that was about to be sold. The schedule was tight. Only a 2 day window to get the job done. Had the cleaning done the day before closing. No room for error. The new home buyers requested ServPro. I thought the price was a little high but now that the work is complete I am thilled with the level of competency and professionalism. I’m glad I chose the pro’s at ServPro! They sent me pictures of the work being done. Nice touch! And they also called me to make sure other workers from another company that arrived were supposed to be there. They had my back. I appreciate that. Thanks for a job well done from the first call to the payment processing. Quick, clean and professional in every way.

FANTASTIC! I came home to a busted water pipe. Joe answered right away, helped calm me down (I tend to be dramatic) and was out within the hour. They started mitigation right away and handled communication with the insurance company. He even kept me updated regularly. HIGHLY recommend!

From the first phone call to the water removal, Servpro was awesome. They walked me through the anxious process of understanding what to expect with remediation and gave me peace of mind. They responded quickly when other companies couldn't come out for 1-3 days. I highly recommend them. The general manager was professional and very responsive!

Servpro came out to clean our carpets throughout the entire house. Cost was reasonable and everyone that came to the house was super friendly and explained everything to us. Having two young kids and pets our carpets have suffered a lot of spills. The cleaning refreshed the carpets and have things looking great again. Thanks!

Ryan and Shawn were awesome! They were hard workers and very polite throughout the duration of the project. The only downside is that I think this specific ServPro office/location seems to be slightly understaffed by what seemed like a crazy amount of work coming in but not enough people to go around and complete it! With that being said, I would call Ryan and Shawn again over and over. The office staff, both Nicole and Ashley, were super pleasant to deal with and very polite as well. I would recommend them!

After a flood in my basement of ankle deep water, I had Fletcher’s Plumbing to replace my malfunctioning sump pump. Two Men and a Truck came in to clear out an overwhelming amount of clutter from the basement, which measures over 1,500 s.ft. floor area, is part finished, part unfinished. I then called ServPro of Dover/Middletown, DE. The office staff of Ashley and Nicole were kind and professional to deal with. They quickly had the team of Sam and Dom at my house. The men were very knowledgeable, professional and respectful. They were attentive to all questions and concerns that I had. People debate whether to attempt flood cleanup themselves, or to hire a company like ServPro. I would only hire ServPro. There were several days involved with restoring my basement. In addition to the very heavy physical work that is involved, I appreciated their use of anti microbial treatments. They brought in MULTIPLE air movers to dry the basement efficiently, and they have equipment to strictly check the dryness of the basement before they complete the final steps. I shall always be grateful to ServPro of Dover/Middletown.

They came out to do work in my basement after flooding. They came me a quote on how much it would be. After I finally received a bill after several request it was almost $600 more then quoted. I called on a Friday and talked to a Jennifer. She said she had to get up with the guys that did the work to see why higher. She was supposed to get back with an answer and also email me the bill. I actually adk for the bill from insurance adjuster and he sent it. After not getting a response on the bill I sent an email and never received and answer. I finally sent a check for what I was quoted and used address on business card. The check was returned and then mailed back to another address. Work was all right but communication was terrible. They kept giving me days and times they were going to pick equipment up. After the 4 times they came and took equipment. While moving the equipment damaged my new bar. When given the quote the lead guy said he had to call the office for how much it would be. No time during the period that the equipment was here when they called never said anything about more money. They also said we wouldn’t be charged for additional days since they were extending the pick up day.

When my sump decided we needed an indoor pool in the basement the guys from ServPro were amazing at getting it all cleaned up. Ryan and Glen were professional, courteous and always on time. Servpro is also assisting with getting us out back together. A great one stop shop to appease a stressed homeowner

I called to have 3 rental units inspected for moisture due to flooding from hurricane Ian and explained that each rental had about 4-6 inches of water inside. A representative came out on time and used a device to check for moisture along the baseboards of the walls and cabinets. He confirmed moisture. His Dover office called back with a price later that day to confirm an appointment for 10/24/22 between 9-11am. At 1130 I called since no one showed up. I was informed that the person had been reassigned to another area. So, here I am, back to where I started, with 3 tenants awaiting moisture removal and probably another bill from another company to cover another inspection and estimate. Thanks for accepting my money to confirm moisture after a flood and writing up an estimate for work you failed to perform.

Mike Moore was sent to our home for a mold inspection. He arrived on time. He was courteous. He was knowledgeable. He was informative. My husband and I were very impressed by him. He is an awesome employee to which your company should be proud to employ. We will be getting the repair work done from SERVPRO because of the professionalism of Mike Moore. Kudos to you Mike! It was a pleasure having you here to help us.

Had minimal water damage from a overflowed toilet. Came 2 hours late, and gave us a quote and set up their drying fans. Set up a time to come the next day and didn’t show up for 2 days in a row. Got a bunch of excuses as to why they didn’t show up, and that day they showed up another 3 to 4hours later. Tore a giant portion of drywall out and left. Came back and removed baseboards which they said had no damage and asked if we wanted to keep them which we said yes. We can’t use any of the baseboards they pulled up because they are all cracked now. Told us that none of the stuff they took out would be replaced because “it wasn’t part of our quote” which is not what was told to us on the phone and they refused to send us a copy of our contract even though we asked for it for multiple days. So now we’re left with more work to do than if we had just dried the area ourselves. Not worth the money or the hassle and now we have to find a contractor to come fix our carpet, walls in multiple rooms, and baseboards in 3 rooms. Never using this company or recommending them.

Tuesday December 29, 2020 around 6pm I found that my two sump pumps had stopped working. As I descend my basement stairs there was 2 1/2 inches of water everywhere. I put a call into Basement Pros who had previously put both sump pumps in for me. They were not able to come until Thursday 12-31-2020, to inform me that they only did replacement no clean up. At that time I called my insurance company, who gave me a few numbers for water damage & clean up companies. I called and got a call back from Servpro by 2:28pm and they arrived by 4pm12-31-2020 (New Year's Eve) It was the first time since Tuesday that (someone who was the Technician) Mr. Antonio said for me "to go relax ," We will take care of everything from here! They placed the equipment through out the basement 1 super size dehumidifier and 15 Air Movers.He explained the paperwork that I had to sign. Mr Antonio let me know they would return on Saturday 1-2-2021.He explained how the machines would dry the basement up even my collector Santa boxes in a few days. He also explained & showed me the progress that had been made. The next visit was on Monday 1-4-2021 at which time they checked their equipment and continually explained in terms for me to understand what was happening. Mr. Antonio returned on Tuesday 1-5-2021 to remove the equipment and for me to sign final paperwork. Mr Antonio was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I was so amazed to see him draw freehand a sketched detail of my basement floor plan.Servpro sent one of their best technician's to help me through such a devastating experience. Thank you Mr. Antonio!!!!!

A family member living alone in Dover (with nearest family hours away), passed away. There was necessary mitigation work in his home and the folks at Dover Servpro were on the scene immediately upon our request. They worked with our family remotely and at every point were professional but also very sensitive and helpful during a difficult time. A shout out especially to Cassie who followed our project from beginning to end and even located for us some important documents while she was supervising the clean up. Her taking a personal interest made all the difference. All of my family highly recommend Cassie and all her collegues at ServPro in Dover DE.

The crew leader, Shawn, was extremely helpful, informative and professional. He was patient with all of my questions. Very dedicated to a job done correctly.

To be honest I didnt get a chance to work with this company however right at the beginning of just the phone call I was being munipalated to let them know my insurance information because they wanted tonwork with my insurance not me. After my wife and I kinda stated no thank you for the third time and just wanted a quote to board up two standard windows they quote twice the amount than any other company in my area. The person on the phone was rude and I would not recommend this company for that reason.

Excellent and timely work. If the need ever arises again I would not hesitate to call Serpro of Dover again.
