After meeting with several builders in the area, we selected Sallade Custom Homes. Not long after speaking with Chuck Sallade on the phone, we thought he was probably the correct person for us. After an in person meeting, our assumption was confirmed.
This project for us was a 20 year dream and building from 1300 miles away was challenging. He was personable, easy to relate, and interested in OUR ideas. We wanted someone we could trust with all the design elements of a modern mountain home. Kristin (his wife) kept the books and was a pleasure to work with as well. Since our project was not a large footprint, they created an efficient use of space using both new and reclaimed materials. Chuck and his crew (Tom, Tim, Kyle, Eli and Daniel) made our project perfect. They offered suggestions and helped to create vision for this project. Both Chuck and Tom offered many alternative suggestions as we were challenged with a tightening budget. They kept waste to a minimum. The building site itself was kept in immaculate fashion. (Nothing like the normal, untidy, scattered job sites.) Chuck sent us photos when progress was made, to keep us up to date. Additionally, he allowed specialized hardware to be shipped to his office for our peace of mind.

We recently remodeled the restaurant and bar, Marli’s, located in The Pollard Hotel. Chuck Sallade and his team built the beautiful bar, repaired and restored the woodwork, and designed and built out custom tables. They collaborated with our designer Chanda Wall of Design interiors to create a show piece! The materials they used are very obviously quality and the craftsmanship is truly outstanding. They are thorough, detailed and customer oriented. We sincerely recommend Sallade Customer Homes and hope to have them work on other projects for us in the future.
