Dave inspected two houses for us. The first a newly renovated manufactured home and the second a fixer-upper traditional home.

During our first inspection Dave found concerns we wouldn’t have know to look for. He was through and went above and beyond inspecting the property. By the end of the inspection we decided not to proceed with the sale of this home. Dave was more than accommodating and understanding. He cancelled the water tests and gave us a discount on the inspection since we canceled the report. Our second home inspection was equally through and the report was comprehensive and easy to understand. He also takes the time to answer any questions you have and makes himself available after the report is sent.

Overall, Dave is professional, friendly, and does a great job. You won’t be disappointed hiring him.

Dave did the home inspection for our new home before we purchased in September of 2020. He was extremely thorough in his inspection, checking even the smallest of details. He took his time, explained what he was doing and what kinds of things he was looking for, and did not perform the inspection in a rushed manner. He took time to answer loads of questions, as we were first time home buyers. He is very professional and leaves the inspection with an open door to ask any further questions that may come up. He was extremely responsive and never out of reach. We felt very good about his advice and recommendations that he puts right on the detailed inspection report. We would highly recommend Dave to anyone in need of his services and cannot say enough great things about him.

From start to finish working with Dave was an absolute pleasure. He was responsive to our questions and professional from day one. On the date of the inspection it was snowing and the roads were not ideal. He arrived early and even completed most of the exterior inspection prior to our arrival.
He proceeded to do an extremely thorough inspection, explaining everything along the way. His vast knowledge was clear and most appreciated.
Less than 24 hours later we had a completed, VERY detailed inspection with dozens upon dozens of photos including Infrared photos, descriptions and and suggestions. He even refused payment until he was 100% sure that all of our questions were answered and we were completely satisfied.

I hired Dave Smith on the recommendation of the Realtor, and was delighted to find he was a former student!! Dave spent over 4 hours inspecting the house at 55 North St. in Jaffrey, NH. As he went through the house, he pointed out the areas of concern. He had an electronic report to me the next day, and sent a hard copy, both with pictures, explanations of concerns, and recommendations.
