I needed some tuck pointing and some caulking done on my house. I went through Hone Advisor, and I was happy with the reviews that they were given by part customers. The price was very fair, the work was completed in a timely matter. After the job was completed, the crew cleaned up the work area. Definitely I would recommend Royal Construction to other home owners.

Steer clear from this company- huge red flags from the very beginning! Stand came over with his grandson in without even really looking at the job, in 5 mins, he gave me a lowball quote (odd) which is nowhere in the ballpark of what more reputable companies were quoting me for the job. When I asked him to put it in writing, he refused, and he said he was doing me a favor, and that I needed to decide right there and then. When I asked him to tell me the details of how he was going to do the job (the process, materials, etc. ) he was condescending and said he had been doing this for 40 years, and that he didn’t need to explain to me the details ..he’s an expert he said. All of this lines up with all the other reviews on yelp that I read where he tries to take whatever deposit he can and then either do a sloppy job or never show up at all. You have been warned!

Very disappointed, the wood they used under the gutters were not treated. Didn’t find that out until another professional told me. The contract stated that ALL old wood will be replaced and they didn’t. When I asked why wasn’t it replaced they said it’s not old when the wood is clearly cracked and old. I wish I had shopped around, because another contractor gave me a quote half the amount Royal construction charged.
