Ridout Lumber of Cabot

Front desk customer service great..BUT outside loading is horrible. Forklift drivers are very dangerous almost got ran over. The lumber I was loaded was the bottom of the barrel for premium price. Takes forever to get loaded over an hour. Bottom line is they are for builders and not the small man anymore. Home depot is were it's at unfortunately.

All I can say is they have a young guy with glasses on the yard, and you better hope he helps you he is the only one that knows what customer service is. The language that some of them have is horrible. I didn't hear the F word that much when I was in the military. Was seating in the yard wait to get loaded the guy loading me was hurt trying to use one arm to load over 100 boards. He asked another guy he in a minute as he keep talking to one of their tuck drives. Call the office they said they would let me talk to a manager I guess he didn't want to talk it rang about 3 times and went to voice mail.

Ohh where do I start?

I went in to look at and purchase some trim (baseboard and crown) on Saturday 09/26/2020. After receiving ZERO initial assistance I had to ask where their trim options were and they pointed to a display. Upon finding what I liked they told me they don't use that trim company anymore and handed me a brochure of the new company? I found something comparable I liked and proceeded to get a price and order. The gentlemen stated he has to call the company to see if it's available before placing an order so he took my name and number and said he would call on Monday. The following Tuesday I called them after no call and he told me emailed them, but would send a follow-up email again. The next day (Wednesday) he calls and gives me a price, I told him that would work and he stated I would need to come in and pay prior to them ordering it. I then went in immediate Saturday 10/03 and nobody there knew what I was talking about, I had to FIND THE NOTE myself on a clipboard at the front counter (what a joke). Upon looking at the note the guy says we have 8000ft of this in back, we can don't need to order? I said of this specific LB11 right here (points to brochure). He says yep and proceeds to polace order and take my money and set up delivery for Tuesday 10/06 of the 900FT of trim.

I get a call today 10/05 at 7:14am that they are at my gate to deliver the trim (I have already left for work) and call my wife to notify her so she can let them in. The driver then drops of 900ft of dented up trim that is the WRONG trim? half primed and half not? wrong profiles and everything. The driver said "mam I don't load it, I just deliver it, you can return what you don't want". What an absolute headache! this has been from the very beginning. Called today to notify the store of the incorrect trim and they said the trim we requested had to be special ordered and would let me know when it comes in. IF they make it right, I will update this review accordingly.
