I spent a year getting estimates from three solar companies and chose Revolt Energy for my rooftop solar installation. Revolt gave me the best price by over $1000 on my 24 panel x 400 watts rooftop installation - plus I got to keep my solar energy credits (unlike another WV company who has a business model of offering to buy your SREC credits in perpetuity but still came in more expensive). Revolt sent very competent people to my house for the installation, explained every step of the way and their business people were very honest and professional in handling my contract. I can't recommend this company enough. One of my closest friends here in town, followed my recommendation, and he is also just as pleased as I am with Revolt Energy.

I spent several months researching my project. I read a lot of horror stories of incomplete and unsupported systems. I ultimately received 3 vendor proposals.

REvolt evaluated my project by satellite photos and then met me for an on-site, in person survey. They considered energy production, cost and appearance of my home. They provided a fixed price, clearly written proposal with no fine print. Their proposal includes a 35 year national warranty underwritten by Zurich insurance. The policy covers all system components and damage or leaks of the underlying roof.

Revolt installed the system in 2 days, the inspector showed up the following week. A few days after that, APCO installed the net meter and the lights are on. Revolt handled the paperwork, permits, inspections and setup of my monitoring app. Despite winter weather, I have 440 kWh of sunshine in my wallet from the first 5 days of operation.

The panels, mounts, wireways and microinverters were highly rated, and classified as top tier. The installers were professional. All wiring and conduits were neatly done and clearly marked. Despite muddy weather, they left my place as they found it. Not a spec of trash or dirt left behind.

The inspector complimented the project design and workmanship. REvolt provided as-built drawings of the system, components and wiring.

Communication was excellent, and everything went exactly as promised. Well pleased with the work.

The solar journey for us started 6 months ago. Revolt makes it easy to get in the game. I’m very satisfied with the quality of the equipment and the peripherals of the installation. These guys were fantastic. Once we finally got AEP out to do their inspection, we were up and running almost immediately. Everything passed inspection on the first go, they cleaned up after each day during the installation, and they are still on call to answer any questions that we have, whether it be about production, how things read on the electric bill, and so on. Best of all, they are based here in WV with WVians on their team.

It did take awhile to get the system up and running since AEP had to come and inspect the system before we could turn it on, but everything has been running smoothly ever since. Revolt Energy is a company whose focus is clearly on the execution of flawless and accurate solar designs for residential and commercial customers.
Although I have two types of services at my home, Revolt designed a system to meet my total consumption needs and assured me that I’d be able to aggregate my meters. Keena warned it’d be an uphill battle, but assured me aggregation of my meters.
The crew arrived on schedule and worked diligently to complete my installation. These folks are clearly more concerned about quality over quantity. Throughout the entire process I had nearly instantaneous access to communications with both owners of the company, and was not at any time left hanging.
