I had flooding in my basement. Restoration 1 responded quickly. The team Jeff, Robert and Chaz were very easy to work with. They were very professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. I give Restoration 1 and the team a “10” and highly recommend them.

I did a Google search of mold removal companies in the Birmingham area and Restoration 1 popped up. I had to reach out because my hot water heater suddenly burst and flooded my garage floor. If I remember correctly, the company sent out Josh and Chaz the next day. They performed their assessment, and explained what the process would be. They even started work the same day!

I was super grateful for the mold removal and they treated my home like it was theirs. Joshua and Chaz were very easy to work with. Joshua communicated when he would come by to pick up the drying equipment so it best fit my schedule.

Communication with the company and their representatives is excellent! I would highly recommend anyone with mold reach out to Restoration 1!

Highly recommend Restoration 1 if you ever have any water mitigation needs. I’m an insurance agent with Alfa Insurance and it is hard to find companies that do a good job and Restoration 1 did just that. Restoration 1 did a fabulous job for us! We had a water faucet get stuck in the on position and flooded the bathroom, and up under the house. We called on New Year’s day and they sent out a tech the very next morning. Josh, John, Robert, and Jeff have beautiful work ethics and they are very professional while still also being personable. They were great around our children as well since it was over Christmas break. We would call them out again at any time! I highly recommend each of these gentlemen and the work that they provide. The house was cleaned up and rid of any potential microbial growth within the week because of their proactive response. I couldn’t imagine hiring any other competing company after using these guys.

John, Josh, Robert, and Jeff did such a great job quickly getting in and setting up their equipment after we had a ice maker water line leak saturate the hardwood floors on our main floor and the drywall and flooring in the lower level of our house. Their efforts significantly reduced the amount of restoration work that was required to bring our house back to normal. They walked us through the process and made suggestions that helped restore our home. They handled all of the heavy lifting for us when it was time to pack out our furniture and had it back in the house as soon as we were ready for it to be returned. Thanks guys!

I found black mold in my house. I panicked and called this company and spoke with Jeff. He was very knowledgeable and professional and told me how to handle it until he could look at it. He was at my house the next day. His work was thorough; he explained everything to me. He took care of everything quickly and because the area was small he was able to finish that day. The pricing is right and the service was excellent. If I ever need these types of services in the future, I would not take my business anywhere else.

We had a great experience with Restoration 1 and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing mitigation services. After dealing with a leak in the garage, I called late-ish on a Thursday and even still, the project manager, Jeff, made time to come out and assess and evaluate our situation. Then he, David, and Alex were back first thing Friday morning to get everything taken care of and the equipment set up to dry everything out. Everyone was extremely thorough, friendly and professional. When David and Alex came back to reassess and retrieve the equipment, they even got our garage door back on track when it wasn’t working quite right. This kind of situation is always a pain to deal with, but Restoration 1 and their team made it as painless as possible, and I can’t recommend them enough.

I had some water damage in my ceiling this past Friday and within minutes of calling Restoration 1 they put me on schedule same day. I needed to push my appointment to the next day. John, Jeff and Alex came to my home and got the area sectioned, cleaned and set with fans under 2 hours. They were very nice, professional and clean. They left the surrounding areas of the worksite cleaned as if no one had ever been in the home. They also let me know what to expect in the next coming days as far as visitation to check on the progress. Very impressed with everyone at the company: the admin assistant, project manager and crew. We needed a quick response to address flooding in our garage/basement over the weekend. John and Matt came out on a Saturday and set up fans and dehumidifiers to save our basement from disaster. They came back to check on things a couple of times and got everything squared away by Monday afternoon, in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Our HVAC condensate pump stopped working over the weekend and we did not discover this until Sunday night when we noticed a wet floor and a soggy carpet. Our HVAC company referred us to Restoration 1. They got in gear Monday morning, identified what needed to be done and got their equipment in place to start the drying process. My condensate pump failed and flooded the hardwoods in my basement. My insurance agent recommended Restoration 1, and I'm thankful that he did. Jeff Heflin (Project Manager) came onsite and met with my adjuster to assess the damages. Jeff communicated directly with my adjuster to ensure everything was included in the claim. Jeff texted, called, and emailed me at every step of the process. Jeff and Chloe performed the remediation scope of work flawlessly. Throughout the entire process the professionals at Restoration 1 were responsive, efficient, and cost aware. I couldn't be more pleases with the whole experience.

I walked in to my office building early on a Saturday morning to water everywhere. The water supply line feeding one of the toilets on the 2nd floor broke loose and had been running for some time. There was 2 inches of water in half of the upstairs and half of the downstairs and the suspended ceiling downstairs had fallen in. I googled water restoration companies near me and choose Restoration 1 because it said they were open 24/7 and the call would be answered by a live person. It was 6:45 am when I called and Jeff Heflin answered the phone, took down my info and was at my office with a team within 60 minutes. Jeff, Chloe, Matt, Scott, and John were not only hard working and professional but they all were very knowledgeable about what to do to get the place dried out, cleaned up, and restored. I don't wish the water damage experience on anyone but if you find yourself in need of water restoration or mold remediation services, I can't recommend this company and the crew they sent my way highly enough.

We had an upstairs toilet flood which lead to it obviously flooding downstairs. We called them and within 45 mins, Scott and chloe were here analyzing the situation, immediately installed dehumidifiers, and instructed us where to go from there. They came back the next day with backup lol, and began the tear down process. They left with our stuff covered in plastic, swept, and organized. They even collected and consolidated the trash from a large fountain we had setup the night before, we didn't even ask them to. Scott, Chloe, jeff and John are professional, punctual, and seem to be one of the few people left with good work ethic. The job isn't finished yet, and I'll update the review as necessary, but based off what I've seen I'm sure it'll be great!

I have used Restoration 1 on two separate occasions. Scott the first
