Wayne and Redstone Inspections exceeded our expectations! The home we purchased is older than any other home we've ever owned, so it was extra important to us to have a very thorough, quality inspection done. When I spoke with Wayne on the phone prior to our inspection, he did a great job explaining exactly what he'd be doing and what I could expect. He was very prompt in getting the inspection report to us and it was SO thorough! We could not have been happier with the quality of the inspection and the report! Absolutely dreadful. Firstly Matthew quoted a price over the phone then increased it by $50 without any notification. The reason we choose Matthew was the price he quoted. Not the inflated price.

Sadly the troubles did not end there. We received the inspection report and phoned Matthew as we had several questions regarding the report as well as the price increase. He did not answer his phone nor return voicemail. This left us in a tough situation with our due diligence period extremely fast approaching. Matthew never did return our calls or emails until her sent a payment reminder a month later.

After moving into the property we found 14 windows with issues. Some that needed replacing altogether. Matthews report stated on 2 windows had minor errors which were supposed to be quick and easy repairs.

The stove did not work yet Matthew stated it did, and there was a pipe leaking in the garage which had clearly been leaking for sometime, again this was missing in the report.

Matthews small print in the contract states it is a "rough idea of the property condition". However it is a huge difference when he states windows are all good, when in fact half the windows in the property are bad and will cost thousands to fix.

Overall Matthew provided a report lacking serious detail, awful customer service, and terrible business ethics. Look elsewhere!
