David Kosto from Ratliff came out the same day we called, found the problem, explained the soffit issue to us and promptly fixed it! He also walked around the house to look for any other problems. David was polite and courteous! He went above and beyond! Thank you so much!!

I contacted Ratliff when the down-pipe came away from the gutter, after a ton of rain. David came straight out and fixed it for me, free of charge! He said it was a relatively straight-forward fix, and didn't even charge a call-out fee. He did a super job, I am very impressed and will definitely use this company again, should I need to. I called the office one day and they were out the next! David came out and inspected my roof and gutters. He made a repair to the roof. He was prompt and professional.

About 3 years ago I worked with Ratliff to do a small roof repair. They did what I asked vs. trying to talk me into an insurance claim approach I felt would have been far less than truthful. So when it was time to call for the roof to be replaced you can guess who I called. They worked with us to choose the right products and even engaged a specialist to confirm the best replacement for our 30+ year old skylight. They installed the full roof in one day, they had the Quality Manager onsite in addition to the Project Manager, did a great job on the fireplace flashing and area clean-up. The City inspection was a non-event. 6 months post replacement and not one single issue.

Everyone I worked with at Ratliff was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They walked us through the entire process ahead of time so there were no surprises. Everyone showed up exactly when they were scheduled and the job was handled with speed and precision. It took them 6.5 hours to completely remove our old roof, patch some damaged roof decking, and install the new roof. They even went so far as to paint our old main vent stack so it didn't stick out. The end result is amazing. They spent the rest of the day cleaning and left my yard about as clean as they found it. I couldn't be happier with their work and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to replace their old/damaged roof.

Outstanding experience working with Ratliff Contracting on installing a new roof and gutters. Dave came to the house, inspected the roof and gave us an estimate and thorough explanation of what would be done and what to expect once work began. Work began at 7am, with the crew working until 9pm and returning the next morning for a few hours to finish up. Cody was on site to supervise the job both days. A roofing issue from a sunroom add on by a previous owner that was not done correctly was discussed with me and corrected. The crew did a thorough job cleaning the job site of debris, and spent extra time making sure no nails from the tear off were in the grass or landscaped areas. Everyone we had contact with from Ratliff were professional and courteous, and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing any service they provide.

Ratliff Contracting demonstrates how a business should operate, with integrity and style. Promises were kept and quality was evident in the new roof recently installed at our home. The crew worked diligently and skillfully as they used top-notch Owens Corning shingles and supplies to create a very attractive roof. Supervisors answered all questions and resolved all issues that arose. But above all, the sales rep (now manager) David Kosto was the best. His goal was always to encourage, never pressure, the customer and to provide the information needed to make an informed decision. It took me several years to commit to the project but David never pressured and was always patient.
All the neighbors watched the build going on and one of them concluded, "I think that is the best-looking roof I have ever seen." I agree and highly recommend Ratliff.

From the start communication and explanation of the process was excellent and accurate throughout the process. They worked with us and insurance and made everything go very smooth. Was done quick considering rain delays. Final produce showed quality. No shortcuts and small details were covered on flashings and such. Zach, our contact was awsome to work with and Cody the install supervisor was just and nice friendly and professional.

I needed new gutters and looked for local places. Their reviews were really good. They have excellent customer service. They came out quickly and gave an estimate. They were wonderful answering questions and kept in touch and updated along the way.. Once the contract was signed the work was done within a week. My gutters we're installed today and look wonderful and clean up was excellent. I highly recommend them.

Under pressure to get the church's roof on before Easter, and the threat of rain, the team of about 16 men replaced the roof on the church, our garage, and shelter, as well as part of the ceiling inside the church in a very timely manner. They started on a Monday morning and were finished by mid day Wednesday. The quality of work satisfied even the most skeptical of our church's leadership team. We were very pleased with both the quality and the cost of the work. So was our insurance company!

Ratliff Contracting, in Westerville, OH, did some replacement to some very old basement insulation in my house March 2021. They used Owens-Corning products which I prefer. They were professional and clean-up was great. Will use again. David Kosto was project manager and was very helpful in suggestions and what I needed most. ThanX..Wolfgang H.

We inclined to use Ratliff Contracting based on ALL 5 star reviews (how is that even possible), unless they provide exceptional service and we found it otherwise based on what we have experienced.

TL;DR
very quick to get things started to file claim, did not provide quotes or estimates for a transparent process, when the adjuster request more documentation things got really slow and no response

Longer version:

We had Ratliff inspecting roofs in the neighborhood and we agreed to use the free inspection based on all 5 star reviews. The sales guy is friendly and communicative, mentioned that we had hail damage and high probability of getting the claim approved. To his credit, he is right that there was hail damage on front and the back.

But, to get full roof replacement the adjuster asked for details like color match, unavailability of original shingles etc... At this point things got really slow, they would schedule time to collect shingle for analysis and would not show up (this happened two times). The answer I would get is that they are busy as the weather is getting better, on one hand I understand they are busy but why would you work with other customers when you are not really interested or don't have the band width to help the customer base?

After a month of initiating the claim, we were left in limbo, if we had known more, we would not even started this process with Ratliff. I came to know today (after waiting 10 days not hearing back from the sales guy) that Ratliff let go all sales members and hired new folks. I am sorry for the guy and can't blame him (as he is not part of the company anymore and not obligated to communicate with us anymore), but the management should be aware of the customers the previous team is in touch base with, they should have communicated well to provide a seamless service even in this unlike case of staff transition.

Ratliff may provide a quality roofing based on all 5 stars ( I can not attest to that due to not using their service anymore), however they are not professional in how things were handled in our case.

This is the second time I had my shingles replaced. First contractor was excellent 10 years ago. This contractor was equally excellent this time. Nick did a great job of selling the product, inspecting the roof, coordinating with insurance company and getting them to complete their inspection in a timely manner. Insurance was paying all but my $1,000 deductible! Nick (and another rep) reviewed the shingle choices carefully and covered the contract details very carefully with my wife and I. He collected the $1000 at that time. Scheduling was difficult but only because of severe winter weather conditions. Communication was excellent. Work was done in an excellent manner by their team and clean up, even in the snow, was well done. Office coordination of payments at all times was professional. Highly recommend that you investigate getting shingles replaced and, hopefully, for just the cost of your deductible!! Highly recommend that you contact this firm, ask for Nick and if deemed necessary, hire these guys to do it!

Ratliff Contracting did a great job, end to end. They helped with the insurance claim, was here during the inspection, and replaced my roof in one day. They were on time, professional, and very helpful. They even helped by replacing some rotted wood frames over the garage. They are great to work with for roof repairs.

Everyone I had contact with at Ratiff was professional, responsive and knowledgeable.the crew who did the install was careful and focused, and the roof and gutters look great.

Ratliff Contracting was in my neighbor performing roof inspections after a storm and asked if I was interested in them looking at my roof. I’m a sales manager and I’m very difficult to buy into sales pitches. There was none of the usual pushy sales tactics.

Nick Kovac did a fantastic job explaining the damage on the roof, and the repair process. I reached out to my insurance company and the adjuster met with Nick and approved the repair on the repair on the spot. The next day I received a call from the office and was put on the schedule.
The day of the install the crew was punctual and professional. They did a fantastic job protecting my home and lawn. There was always a supervisor or manager on sight and I was amazed with the teams work ethic. Even though it was his day off, Nick stopped by to ensure I was happy with the process. I was highly impressed when the sales manager Phil Crawford stopped by as well to check on the work. In conversation with Phil, I mentioned the roof color was very nice but now my gutters looked dated in comparison. Phil told me Ratliff installs gutters and within minutes gave me a quote.
I'm now having the gutters installed by Ratliff.

Nick Koval came by my house and told me we needed a new roof after many other companies had done so. Our insurance company had denied the previous claim but Nick told me he could get it approved! I was skeptical but he made it happen! Not only did Ratliff make it happen, they put on a beautiful roof. The roofers were professional and cleaned up their mess completely. I’m so grateful to Ratliff for helping us get a new roof! Thanks Paul for taking care of a the paperwork!

I needed some older cedar trim on the second story replaced and my neighbor had used Ratliff and liked their work. I called Ratliff and David Kosto came out within a few days to look over the repairs needed. He went into detail on how he would replace the bad wood with PVC, add ice and water shield where needed, and completely caulk to seal everything. I had the paint so he said he would take it to the shop and pre paint everything with two coats prior to installation. I got his estimate and thought it was a bit high, but based on what he said he would do and it could be done in the next week I agreed to have him do the work. He came out and did the work and it looks great and is well sealed. The next week I noticed a small area where the caulking had sunk in a bit and called him. He came out the next day and caulked it and touched up the paint.

So, overall great work and service. David was especially good at communicating with me on what was planned, the timing, and responding when I needed him back. I do feel I got for what I paid.

I would like to thank and highly recommend the entire team at Ratliff Contracting. My situation required all the services they provide including roofing, gutters and siding. They used quality materials, did excellent work, cleaned up after themselves, were patient with me and the insurance company and were professional every step of the way. They made it easy to choose them as a contractor. They were a professional team from the start. They worked well with my insurance company. They provided expert help the selecting timeless and high-quality building materials. While my insurance company proved to be incompetent, I really was in good hands with Ratliff Contracting!

I had a sunroom built this summer and needed the siding, soffits, and gutters to be done. I had gotten quotes from other companies in the area, but wasn't really impressed by any of them. I called Ratliff as they were close by and had an excellent experience from start to finish. From the lady on the phone that took my initial request for a quote, to David, who came out to give me a quote, and the workers who completed that job, I could not have been more pleased. David was my point of contact for the entire job and he made sure everything was done promptly and correctly. I highly recommend them!

Amazing company. I strongly recommend Ratliff. From start to finish, it was the absolute best experience - better than I could have ever imagined. The entire crew was friendly and very knowledgeable. I noticed a few loose shingles on the top of my house. I called Ratliff Contracting because they received rave reviews on one of the Facebook groups that I frequent. I must say, those reviews were right! Even though it was a Friday evening when I called, one of their project managers (David) came to check it out within 1 hour of my call. He was able to assess the issue and fix it right away. Would highly recommend them!

We needed gutters and reached out to three companies for quotes. Ratliff Contracting was a referral from a FB Business Group. Ratliff Contracting was the most professional and prompt with the quote. We had asked them to look at our roof and inspect some missing shingles. It was determined we needed a new roof. They worked with us and our insurance company to make the necessary repairs. They continued to keep in communication with us during the entire process. The day of the installation we found part of our roof was in really bad shape and a lot of the wood had to be replaced. They did a great job repairing it. We felt it was done right. Their crew was respectful and efficient. They cleaned up afterwards also.

The team did a great job repairing our siding. They were very professional, took time to clean up all the bits and pieces of siding created during cutting. They treated the job and home as if it was their own and took time to explain their process and the work done. I would definitely hire again.

Also, he was great and did all the work so it was an easy process. Ratliff worked with our insurance so that was very helpful. They gave us all of the options, explained everything about the products and installation, and made sure all of our questions were answered. The actual workers crew was knowledgeable and professional. They started and finished all in one day. New roof looks great and the cleanup around the house was fantastic.

Our roof and gutters look incredible! Rick and David were easy to work. Rick was on our job site most of the day making sure things went according to plan.

They really took their time to analyze our problem and offer solutions. The roof looks great. They even came back out again when we got water in our sun room, which was not related to the roof and provided recommendations on next steps to remedy that issue. They were the 3rd roofing company we had out to figure out the issue with water getting in our sun room and they were the only ones who figured out where it was actually coming in from.

We hired Ratliff Contracting to replace our roof due to wind damage it sustained. The company was excellent to work with. Phil Crawford was our project manager and he was absolutely terrific. I can honestly say that Phil was the reason we decided to go with Ratliff. When he explained that our insurance company would pay to replace our roof due to storm damage and that we would only pay our insurance deductible, I was at first skeptical. However, Phil delivered on every promise that he made to me. He served as our point person for the insurance company so I did not even have to deal with the insurance company directly for 95% of the total process.
Not only was Phil present everyday of the install, but the owner of the company Bryan Ratliff also visited us everyday of the install to ensure we were happy and to answer any questions/concerns we had. They also followed up post install to ensure the process met our expectations. The crew that installed the roof were also very professional and extremely efficient.
