Randall Lumber and Hardware is a Taos community cornerstone. I'll start by saying that everyone is professional, knowledgeable and seem genuinely happy to be there and to help. DeAnn at the counter is not only efficient, but is also a lovely person. Will in the back helped me with the blocks and gave me some pointers about stabilizing my motorhome with the blocks. He was very helpful, but most of all he made me feel like he cared about what I was using the materials for. Great experience all around and I supported local!

I went to purchase two oil type heaters. The shelf was bare. A gentleman pointed me to another area ( He was with another client ). He followed up when free and found the second one in the back. Very attentive

Great alternative to Ace Hardware. The store is MUCH bigger than it looks. they keep a good inventory of items like sinks, faucets, etc. the Customer service was amazing! will definitely be doing more business with them.

So, I went to Randalls last week. It was the only place I chose to go out to over the course of the entire week. For the first time, businesses have been dropping their mask requirements and guidelines. Well, none of the employees were wearing masks, along with some customers and there were quite a few employees on the floor. Several times these maskless employees approached me and got close to me, within 1 or 2 feet at times. I decided to just get what I needed and get out of there. Well it's several days later, I cant remember exactly, maybe 5-6 days ago I was there. I am now sick for the first time in a couple years and for the first time since the pandemic began. I definitely have Covid symptoms, fever, body aches, chills, headache, some lung pain when I breathe, kind of foggy too. This is all after getting my FIRST dose of the vaccine a few weeks ago, I am scheduled for my second dose in a couple of days, but now I have to get tested first and it's an entirely arduous process where I have to wait for confident results for atleast a week, so not only will I probably NOT be getting my second dose now, but I may have Covid, or maybe even something else. All because some pompous manager or owner decided for the sake of their employees hiveminded "feelings" that they didn't have to wear masks anymore, because it's so incredibly inconvenient... (sarcasm) I mean I don't know what else it could be, there may not be a correlation here, but is it just a mere coincidence that for the first time in years I get sick right when the only place I visit decided to drop their mask guidelines for the first time since the pandemic started? I'm going to get tested and report back. If I have Covid well, I don't know where else I can trace it back to. It's just needless negligence.

Locally-owned, most helpful and knowledgeable employees you will ever encounter. It's like an old time store with everything. Like they say, everything to build any thing, Randall Lumber.

Poor customer service. Poor quality of wood. I was building a roof with the wood from randall lumber that they sell at $16.50. I got to the last board when the whole thing split and fell on me. I called to complain and the manager hung up on me in the middle of a sentence and told me "we do not inspect the wood when it comes in" the wood they are selling at this price is fir....which for those who do not know is weaker then oak. I was hoping that a store that specializes in lumber wood have better quality wood that would be safe to use. The manager also attempted to argue with me saying that they have the cheapest wood in the state which i found out was not true while i was on the phone with him

Everyone was so helpful Russell mainly/Brian/Danny and another gentleman helped to get me what I needed.. So grateful for these guys ..knowledge is everything

The hometown hardware store! Always helpful and knowledgeable folks on hand to answer questions. The yard guys make sure that you are getting good quality materials!

I've been here five or six times, and I've only ever had excellent experiences. Every single employee I've ever interacted with has been so kind and helpful. I wish I could get everything from Randall's, not just hardware supplies.

Great selection! VERY well laid out, easy to navigate through. If you are having problems finding what your looking for just ask. Plenty of help around .
