We have work with Rainier construction and they are absolutely organize and excellent customer service. I highly recommend them with any of your construction needs. weather is a small of big project I certain that they will take are of you.

I would like to share my business and personal experience with referring Rainier Construction -

As a local Gig Harbor business owner for 10 years I have referred Rainier Construction to multiple clients who have stated Rainier's staff were friendly, timely, thorough, and met strict deadlines.

The level of quality and supervision on Rainier's projects is definitely a top-tier product, I say this because most small construction companies do not have superintendent's and owner's who are willing to manage a project to assure the client's on all facets of their remodel or new construction home is being conducted to the utmost level.

I have referred other general contractors and have had negative feedback from homeowner's as the projects were not properly supervised or completed in a timely manner, due to an owner attempting to run all aspects of his business. I will continue to refer Rainier Construction.

I found this overall experience with the team excellent . A new lead charge on the job “Austin “ proved to go above the profile and exhibit the skills right out of the gate to provide leadership in completing this job . Jeramy also provided the scope in leadership and a strong ability to pass on this project to Austin with undue worries and support. I’m definitely going to hail this group again for my next project!

We had one of the worst houses on the block and now have one of the nicest. It’s not a competition! Jeremy and Chase arranged to fix our chimney, roof, gutters, siding, windows, doors, and porches. Scott was on site from demo to clean up; Vasily and his crew reframed a good quarter of our house and added siding and reframed doors. Happy with communication with Rainier. We had a thunderstorm and Chase and Scott waterproofed our home on a weekend. I trusted Rainier in my home. It was money well spent.

When I hired Rainier Construction I let them know that I wanted 2 through-the-wall ac holes put into my walls. I described what I needed was headers and footers put in (essentially rough out for a window).

The pictures attached are what they did. They cut 3 of my studs without putting a header and footer in. The workers tried to explain to me that the “frame they put in would distribute the load of the wall”. I a professional by any means but… I know the way they did it was completely wrong and would compromise the wall. After I pushed on them and told them I knew it would not distribute the load (which it wouldn’t because it was just some wood blocks screwed to drywall and maybe side nailed to the studs) they started to tell me that cutting the studs they did would not compromise the wall.

Now for those that don’t know, you should never cut even one stuff without proper reinforcement (let alone 3). Don’t EVER let someone tell you otherwise. If you don’t believe me look it up. No one would ever tell you that what they did was ok.

Now I understand that a company may have a bad low skilled worker that may not represent the company, and if a supervisor or manager came out and corrected the issue right away I may have either ignored or just docked 1 star… but that isn’t what happened. There manager named chase (one of the main people listed on their website) came out and said that what they had done was structurally ok and that cutting those studs would not compromise that wall. I told them this was not ok.

Chase was insistent and would not change his toon till I threatened to call the county, because what they were doing was unacceptable.

We finally got him to agree to do the work correctly but he said they had to charge us significantly more. Since the project has started and I already had a hole in my wall I felt trapped and had very little options but to agree.

If this wasn’t enough the main guy they had assigned to the project was sloppy and took so many short cuts and though the work he did was good enough. This included cutting the boards to short and having to shim an inch between the header and the stud, not masking off the wall plug and getting texture everywhere (I had to replace the plug and wall plate), and leaving the outside unfinished ( so I had to paint it myself)

I strongly recommend you use a different contractor. I have never felt so uneasy about a project and it made me feel ill.

Everyone at Rainier Construction is so helpful. They worked with us to help us figure out how to approach remodeling and updating our two 30 year old bathrooms and kitchen in a manner that fits our budget and time line. Always on time and available to answer any questions or concerns, every one that came to work here, as well as in the office, was professional and friendly. The work turned out beautifully!

The team at Rainier was awesome. Jeremy, Jamie and Tyler were professional, organized and responded to all of our questions and concerns. They kept us up to date on the progress of our project. They and their sub contractors showed up when they said they would. They got their respective jobs done in a timely manner. Jeremy and Tyler kept the build moving along and under budget. All the materials and craftsmanship was top knotch. We have had three homes built and a couple remodeled over our lifetime and this experience with Rainier was excellent.

We had long term seepage around our chimney through the roof. Rotted all the wood under siding on the north side of house. They had to replace wood, siding, caulking and a beam above a bay window. They also had to fix any damage inside the house caused by demo, replacing beam, etc. Since it wasn’t a storm or tree that caused the damage our insurance wouldn’t cover a dime. Rainier construction worked with us to keep the cost down since it was out of pocket. The communication was excellent and their crew couldn’t have been nicer and experienced. For any kind of remodel or construction Rainer will be first company I call.

Absoulutely love working with this construction company! As their cleaning service, I can vouch for their amazing work and tidy work enviroment. They make my job easy and enjoyable. Kudos to great partnership!

I have used Rainier Construction over the years for tenant improvements, building improvements and repairs. They have always been responsive and easily accessible to my needs. Their work has been of excellent quality, following a time line that had our work finished quickly. I have also relied on them to recommend other quality contractors for work outside of Rainiers scope. I appreciate the fact that their recommendations provided me with comparable quality of work. Tyler & Jeremy worked patiently with me for several months (time off was due to the COVID shut down) to hash out various options for repairing a poorly designed second story balcony that caused rainwater to pool up against my bedroom wall. Once we had an option finalized his crew, led by Mike, did an excellent professional job making the repairs before the winter storms set in. They showed up on-time,
took care to protect my landscaping below the balcony, and kept the worksite clean. I am overjoyed with the results.

He was very accommodating to our specific needs of keeping our business open during a remodel process. Had the Rainier crew out to clear an area in our yard for a concrete pad that included a retaining wall, concrete pad and electrical conduit run for a shed we had placed on the pad. The crew and staff were great about communication, the process and what to expect along the way. Highly satisfied and can't say enough great things about Jeremy and the Rainier crew. I selected this company after seeing, firsthand, multiple properties that they worked on and built. Super happy with our them and will be using them for another project in 2023.

This company was very easy to communicate with both in person and by phone. They listened to what I wanted and what my concerns were and did everything in their power to meet those needs. They were on time, the quality was great, the price was great, they went out of their way to take care they didn’t damage my yard and they were professional.
