This is super unfortunate because everyone here, at first, seemed really “nice.” However, the entire process was completely unprofessional and substandard. When I first went, they didn’t have what I needed and ordered it. That’s absolutely fine, whatever, they can’t have everything in stock. But when it came in, they didn’t let me know, I had to randomly contact them about it– and I didn’t know until I got there that apparently not all of my order had come in. They thought they had some of it in stock, but not only had no one checked before they actually placed the order, nobody had bothered checking to make sure the whole order was there when what was supposed to be the difference came in. So then they said it might be another week before they could get it in, and I told them that I couldn’t do that because the roofing I had already done was sitting there waiting for the rest of the material, and as I was going out of town I had to get it done that weekend, meaning I had to pick up materials before that weekend, as they weren’t open Saturday or Sunday. Horace said that, since the business was responsible for the oversight, he would go either that night (and another employee not only heard it but said he’d go with him, so multiple people knew) or the next night up to one of their other stores (Winchester, I think) and pick it up, and that if they weren’t open when he got back he would leave it for me. He never contacted me to tell me that it was there. I called them when I got back WEEKS later, and it turns out that nobody ever went to get the other items which, by the way, I had already paid for. During that entire month. I asked Horace why they hadn’t managed to even call me to tell me that it hadn’t come in and that no one had gone to pick it up, and I was told that he “hadn’t had a chance to call me.” For a month. I also fully expect this is not just one person that fell down on the job, but probably a series of people. I honestly don’t know how they do business if their business model is to charge people and then not provide the products EVER, with zero communication. I finally just told him to cancel the last part of the order since apparently I was never going to receive it anyway, and refund it. Completely ridiculous, not in a funny way. All of this meant that my roof sat for a MONTH inadequately covered. I would definitely rather go somewhere else from now on after this debacle.

Great customer service when I went in to pick a color of shingles I wanted.
DELIVERY GUYS were the best!! They came in on a Friday to boom the shingles on my roof and unfortunately was unable to do so because of electrical lines. They both unloaded shingles by hand because the roofers were coming on Sunday and they didn't have to do that. The driver also handed me an envelope and said I paid a $100 too much the day I paid for the shingles.
My experience with this company was excellent!!

This was my first time delivering to the facility, and customer service was great,as was the employees that unloaded my truck. I wasn't there very long, 35 minutes at the most.

Made a delivery there, as a truck driver. Very professional people, very pleasant, smaller yard, but plenty of room to turn around a 48' flatbed.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
