Customers are fully satisfied

I have had great experience with Pullman Handyman Services! Gabe is incredibly responsive and quick to fit the small jobs I have needed done for my clients into his schedule. Whether it is fixing up parts of a deck or taking care of the smaller projects that add up around the house, it is a relief to have someone I can count on for the things that need attention!

Pullman Handyman built a new deck across the back of our house. He first had to demolish the old deck and then completely create the new deck. The crew worked hard and kept us informed of exactly what needed to be done to make sure that it was built to confirm to Whitman County code. We were very pleased with the finished deck. Clean up was thorough. We highly recommend Pullman Handyman and would return to them with confidence for any future projects.

(edit: I have added details below because the contractor has decided to point fingers. and yes, i left a bad review for ONE other contractor, the one who stole my butter knife and used it as a screwdriver. go figure)
I NEVER checked off on everything. I did expect you to come review the work after it was painted and make sure it was right. You didn't confirm the work was done right. You just billed me.
Yes, you gave me a discount, but that discount won't cover the cost of fixing what was done (hence the pictures of the piecemeal drywall on the beam that now varies in width between 3 & 4 inches instead of being straight lines across the room).
Yes, you offered to come back sometime in May (approximately 6 weeks from "completion") to address what is in the images. I declined that offer because even if I waited, there was zero chance that you would tear down the poorly wrapped drywall from the beam and do it right. What you passed off as good work is not.
In the beginning when your helper tiled in part of the ceiling with water damaged scraps of old drywall rather than using the two new sheets of drywall that were stacked in the same room, I began to have reservations.
the before image with the exposed drywall is what was mudded over to cover the beam in the room. the irregular and damaged pieces that were cut with no regard for right angles resulted in a not straight or smooth finish after painting, as evidenced in the after image with the long ripple in the finish.
The painted over screw anchors were pointed out before painting and I was assured they would be removed and the holes filled, but they were painted over anyway.
the images showing the trim are not about the edge to trim, but demonstrate the paint that is peeling at the edges due to a combination of the way it was taped and the lack of primer when it was painted.
The corner beneath the window sill was not taped and mudded all the way up, hence the dark triangle at the top.
The grounded outlet has mud in the screw holes, and is also not flush to the wall. That hole was cut too big by your team and you sent someone to fix it after I hired an electrician to extend the outlets, but it was only filled with mud and there is not drywall behind the right side flange of the outlet.
The black outlet with white faceplate was cut too large by your team and your team did some work on it, but didn't hit the mark so there is still a gap.
The hole on the slider switch is too big, and also on the white outlet. Yes, that happened before you took the job, but when I hired you I told you that I had started the project but I was also explicit that I did not want it to look like the IT guy did the drywall work. That was why I hired you. It blows my mind that when mudding and finishing the rest of that wall that you did not think it was in scope to make it right, but given the end result for the two holes y'all did cut, not surprising.
The knock down finish on the drywall is inconsistent, and nonexistent in some places. Some places it looks like the spray wasn't even knocked down and is straight up lumpy. We looked at that one day and you said you'd get that sanded down, but that didn't happen.
One day after you left I went outside and scrubbed mud off the front of my house by the spigot where you washed up. And off the back patio.
That was the day I discovered that your helper had gone into my shop, located, and appropriated my 100' extension cord without bothering to ask. Then, after breaking the velcro tie that once kept it tidy and ready for use, they left it in a pile nowhere near the hook it had been hanging on.
This is why we have parted ways.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
