We had our roof replaced by Proven earlier this winter and it was a great experience!

Our previous roof was very old and was starting to have issues. Ryan came in to assess and was able to provide great advice and pointers on how to improve the situation. We wanted to get it replaced ASAP before the snow / rain / cold from the winter and Jenn was able to schedule us in quickly and seamlessly before the unpredictable weather got worse. On the day of the repair, Tito was great at communicating all of the updates and helping to execute the project smoothly - since Proven brought in a couple crews, we were able to get the roof replaced in a day!

Ryan provided honest guidance throughout this roofing/siding process. He answered each of my questions through the lens of what was actually needed, not what he wanted to sell to me. Each call was answered promptly and professionally in the time leading up to when the work was performed. On day of roofing work, Tito was exceptional from beginning to end. Ryan, Tito and company are amazing! They were detail oriented and guided us through every step of the process. There was an electrical issue but it was a power grid issue yet they came to double check that it was not due to the roofing.

His crew captain, Junior remained in constant contact with me and answered all my questions and concerns along the way and always responded immediately- even on the weekend. I retrieved three quotes for a small roofing project and definitely made the right choice by selecting Proven Contracting. Their Owner, Ryan is extremely professional and knowledgeable. His creative ideas and industry experience helped design the best solution for curb appeal without scarifying longevity. Found them on Google initially and am very happy I did. I definitely feel comfortable referring them to other homeowners in North Jersey and also working with their team again. 5 star experience end-to-end!!!

Our gutters were in need of repair as they were pulling off the side of our house from ice buildup. We called several contractors some of whom said we needed to replace the gutters. Ultimately, we decided to hire Proven Contracting. They were able to fix the issue without having to replace all the gutters saving us a lot of money. Their employees were professional and worked quickly to fix the issue. Our gutters look like new again. I highly recommend hiring them for any repairs and/or replacements on your home.

They showed up at 7:00 in the morning, ripped all the old shingles off and had the new roof up by the end of day. The dumpster was picked up the next day as well as the gutter guys to finish. Amazing work.

Proven Contracting installed 3 basement windows for me a couple of years ago. I was satisfied with the work and the price so I had them install the other 4 basement windows. They just finished the job, and the windows look great. The men were friendly and respectful of property.

The new roof turned out great and was long overdue based on all the issues they found with the flashing around the chimney and spots that had to be replaced with new plywood. They did a complete tear off removing all layers of shingles before installing the new shingles. You can tell that this crew has been working together for quite some time based on how efficient they were. They tarped off the back deck, front stairs, and AC Condenser unit before tearing off the old roof. They did a nice job afterwards cleaning up everything which included using a magnet to pick up any loose nails and a blower to make sure everything looked pristine after the job was done. Gutters turned out great as well. I would use Proven contracting again and much respect to Tito and the crew for a job well done.

Ryan came right away to give an estimate for our emergency repair. His guys came fast and were good, cleanup and friendly.

I can’t say enough good things about this company. They replaced my roof in one day. A few days later they replaced my gutters and leaders flawlessly. Very neat. Cleaned up all debris. Every member of the staff is an excellent example of professionalism.

I had my roof replaced by Proven Contracting recently. Highly recommending this company. The quote was reasonable and better than their local competitor. From the estimates to completion, the job was executed perfectly. I especially would like to comment on the exceptional job by Tito, the project manager. He kept me in the loop with updates and photos throughout the project and even was able to take care of a small issue completely unrelated to the roof upgrade (but required climbing up to the roof). On top of all, his team was able to finish the job ahead of the estimated time, which was impressive.

Once we gave Proven the go ahead, they were at our home 2 business days later making our roofing repairs. Great job. Enjoyed working with Ryan.

I would highly recommend Proven! They installed a new roof (Titan - Rustic Redwood), replaced an old skylight, installed new gutters/downspouts, and installed new attic fans, louvres, and a ridge vent to increase the air circulation in my house. Ryan, the owner, is very experienced and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He spent a lot of time advising us on various brands and types of shingles and was patient throughout our selection process. He has done a lot of roofs in the area so it was helpful to drive around and see examples of his work and see how the different colors look in real life. The Proven team was professional and did a great job with the install. The entire project took 3 days start to finish. They identified the source of a small leak we had and replaced the plywood underneath before installing new shingles. They also helped with some finishing touches such as spray painting our vent pipes to match the roof color and making sure everything was to our liking before wrapping up the job. I would highly recommend Proven to install your new roof!

Everything went smoothly. The office staff was helpful and easy to reach. Tito the project manager was so careful , attentive and courteous. The work was done carefully and neatly. Clean up was great . The initial presentation was clear and easy to understand. I am very impressed with their professionalism .

I called Ryan for a client of mine. He was there to evaluate the issue in no time st all and was able to do the repair in a most timely manner. He’s such a pleasure to work with, and his quality work, service and knowledge is fabulous! I highly recommend!

The only thing this company has Proven, is that they're incompetent time and time again. We used most of their services provided, or tried to at least. Got the roof done, they left nails all over the yard as well as took a vent out and didn't put it back in, just shingled over the spot. The gutter workers were very good besides the nails left in the driveway. The siding workers didn't show up because jenn, the person in charge of the paperwork kept marking our jobs as complete after countless emails and calls asking her to send someone out as well as to send our invoice. I'd have the worker come out for an estimate or even the owner and then months would go by and i'd never hear from them until i call and jenn tells me the job was marked as cancelled or completed even though they never finished it. At one point, our new siding was "on order" and then months later the job was removed by jenn and cancelled.
I will never use this company again. It took 4 months for them to complete 2 out of 4 jobs we needed done which really should've been done all at once with proper coordination as we told them about every issue on day 1.

Proven Contracting completed a full replacement of our siding, gutters and downspouts. Their team was so professional and responsive to any questions we had. Ryan really took the time to meet with us and ensure that his team would deliver exactly what we wanted and that we were comfortable with the process. Once the work began, it was completed very promptly; no delays or having to chase people down. We are so happy with the finished product and will definitely be looking for their expertise in future projects!

Did a thorough job on a minor leak near the chimney. Haven't had any complaints thus far. A reputable contractor.

Service promised was not done. Multiple calls to the rep were not returned. They tried to get you into buying service that's not needed. They appeared to provide a description of items they said they'd do, giving you a false sense of comfort. However, the job performed did not match the description. Do not trust this company.

I called for an estimate on roof repairs for a leak, they provided a free estimate and were even able to complete the work that same day. The employees were all very nice and efficient. Very happy with the services provided.

They did a great job on my miscellaneous siding repairs. Job was done quickly and on budget. Highly recommend their services.

Ryan explained the process pretty thoroughly and Joe and the crew made it happen. Old roof and skylights came off and new roof and skylights went on, all in one day. Nothing damaged and the clean up was thorough as well. Highly recommend for any roofing project.

I had the free estimate on Monday and the roof was scheduled and done by Friday evening. They were super responsive and communication was great. Most importantly, They did exactly what they said they were going to do and when they were going to do it. Everything turned out great and I would highly recommend this company for a new roof.

Just had a roof installed at a home in Toms River, NJ. Was unsure who to choose from for a professional install at a fair price. Dan from Proven Contracting contacted me by phone and explained the procedure they utilize to rip off/install a roof. He immediately responded when I e-mailed any questions. I was not at the home during the rip off/install, but the crew doing the install sent numerous text messages and drone pics of progress, and the workmanship was excellent. It was a one day job from beginning to finish, and they left the surrounding yard impeccably clean of any debris or nails as if they were never there. I'll use this company again on future projects!!! If you're looking for an honest contractor, don't look any further---grab these guys!!!

Our experience with Proven Contracting was seamless and professional. Dave, Ryan and Jenn provided answers to any questions we had. The crew, especially the foreman, was conscientious and meticulous in their work. The guys were exceedingly neat about cleaning up after the work was completed. Highly recommended.

Contracted for some repairs but the work done didn't match up to my expectations, the statement of work and expected value. It took too many calls for someone to get back to me when I told them I wasn't pleased with the work. The work performed should have been no more than 1/2 the price of what I paid.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Proven Contracting!! The owners were extremely honest and knowledgeable about what they were doing, which put me at ease. The workers that laid my roof were also very knowledgeable, extremely neat, and efficient.

We called them up to clean our gutters and was told that they would just come by and get it done without us being around. Last time this type of arrangement was done, I was left with a yard with scattered wet and slimy leaves all over the place to clean up after. The guys from Proven Contracting did a professional job and kept the surrounding area as clean as when they arrived. Maybe even slightly cleaner. They even bagged the leaves and left it at the curb. I also flew the drone up there and saw it was clean with all the leaves prior gone. Will definitely recommend them and will call them for future gutter cleanings. For the price of getting gutter guards installed you could probably have these guys come out and professionally clean your gutters for a couple of years.

The worst- kept saying they were coming to take care of a repair, but never did three weeks later. I see other reviews that comment on this, and the company responds that they pride themselves on their customer service. Well that's just not true- they are completely unreliable and should take the negative reviews to heart rather than dismissing them. The most basic aspect of customer service is showing up and actually doing the work you said you'd do, isn't it? When you receive calls and emails asking whether you're finishing a job and you don't respond or call back, that is not making customer service your number 1 priority.

I discovered a roof fan cover had been blown off by high winds. I called around to find someone who would come out on short notice to reattach it. Proven Contracting responded immediately, and temporarily reattached the cover. They followed up with a replacement roof fan, since the old one was corroded, and took care of it while I was away on vacation. Great job, extremely responsive and reliable.

Great Job! Enjoyed the professional interaction with David C. and his crew. Job was done fast, without any interruption of our routines.
