Good afternoon, Mr. Spernak. My name is Jane Severson at 15 North Grapetree Bay, and I switched to ProSolar in June 2023.

Joel was my initial contact who came to my house. He reviewed 6 months of Wapa bills, and based on my small usage (1,400 sf house, no pool, no A/C), he recommended a simple system with the Tesla Battery and 8 solar roof panels. I knew nothing about solar, and would have accepted any proposal he gave me -- and this one seemed very fair. I was very impressed with your whole Installation Team with their efficiency and professionalism; they worked very closely with my electrician to finalize the project. Joel was extremely helpful during the course of the installation (and since), and I have recommended him and ProSolar to many of my neighbors on St. Croix.

During the past year, I have been in email contact with Zuly often (too often for her, I am sure!) to answer my questions regarding DPNR permits and other Wapa issues. She has been very responsive and accommodating and efficient to my various requests.

Russel Elcock was in charge of the installation and commissioning last year, and he also took great care of me.

I have had to request a few service calls regarding finalizing the DPNR permit, and Eustis and other ProSolar technicians came to the house and were very helpful and got the job done.

You have a wonderful and efficient staff, and I wanted to let you know what an excellent job they have done for me.

My experience with ProSolar is extremely well I want to give me thanks to Joel, Zuly, and Will for doing all that they do to have this company be a great success! We have solar and batteries and the only way we know power is out is when we get a text from our app. ProSolar 100%! Take it from someone with ProSolar in my life.

ProSolar is the go-to solar company in the Virgin Islands. They have excellent, knowledgeable staff that assisted me with getting a system that met my needs and ditching the not-so-reliable power company without the headaches of dealing with a loud generator.

After careful research I chose ProSolar for my rooftop solar project, which was installed in 2021. The loan package was very reasonable and the entire process (from site inspection to adding another battery after a year) was smooth, professional, and painless! I just can’t say enough good things about the staff, the equipment (all EnPhase), and the attention. My lifelong dream to have a solar powered house has been easily accomplished. No issues, completely happy, and my WAPA bill is $4.86 per month. Can’t beat that!

Overall, our system works well. It was a bit of a cluster between WAPA, Enphase, electrician and Prosolar on a lot of tasks needing attention, especially with regard to permitting and net billing. Be prepared to be persistent, pester the various parties in order to get your job fully completed.

The Best thing we ever did was getting Pro Solar. We have no regrets. We just wished the financing was offered years earlier. This option helps families who can't afford solar power out of their pockets, to be able to get it. If it wasn't for Pro Solar financing option we wouldn't have solar power. After going through four months of generator power in 2017. The first thing we did after repairing our home was installing a solar system with back-up power storage. Pro solar made the task an easy process. Even when I was not on island they kept me informed on the permitting, installation, and commissioning of my system. Since installation, my WAPA bill has dropped from roughly $130 to $5.66 per month. I not longer sit in darkest.

My experience with Pro-Solar was great from beginning to end! They were very polite and very neat with there set up of my Solar system as well. I love my system and I enjoyed my uninterrupted service through out our last storm! Don’t get left in the dark!!!

In 2018 we installed a Pro Solar system at our home in St Croix. Every step of the process from purchase to installation was very smooth and professional. After four years, Pro Solar has been available for any questions and also extremely responsive to any issues we may encounter.
Not only have we recouped our original investment from reduced utility charges but we no longer worry about power outages and many of the issues others related to sole dependence on the grid.
Pro Solar has been a great partner to us and their service has been outstanding.
I would highly recommend this company and the Tesla equipment they provide.

ProSolar is an extremely professional company to work with. Our initial project was to add panels and batteries to our existing solar system when we purchased our home. They got us in ahead of schedule. We are now in the process of upgrading our older panels and adding another backup battery. Our grid is very unreliable on St. Croix so this solar option has proven to be very beneficial to maintain our daily activities since we office out of our home. Looking forward to our next install. This review is for ProSolar but in particular, Mr. Robert Fairchild who works for them. Our experience with the entire operation of installing solar at our home in Saint Croix was very good from initial discussions to the "good-bye kiss." Our solar panel and battery system has returned expected and consistent rewards and I anticipate many years of these returns. The installers and related personnel were all professional and knowledgeable. Along the way, Customer Support was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Rob Fairchild, as part of that Customer Support, was always there to help and often times would get answers for me and offer understanding and knowledge when other avenues proved a bit difficult. His attention to my issues always satisfied me and made me feel as if there was a person I could turn to if I had a concern or problem. The only issue I ever had with him is that he did not know how far his "reason for employment" was from planet Earth. His reason for employment being the Sun which without it, solar would not be such a great option for our electricity! 93 million miles is the answer! LOL. I highly recommend ProSolar and Rob Fairchild for your energy needs. John

We would definitely recommend ProSolar for your solar installation. We ordered our system late in 2019. Installation was completed faultlessly despite our not being on island (St. Croix) during the process. We arrived to live here full-time in February 2020 and the system has performed exactly as anticipated. Our WAPA invoices have been next to zero during this period, and we're actually still using the $250 CARES Act credit we received in May 2020 to cover the small monthly WAPA charges we do receive. Our system powers AC, all kitchen and laundry appliances, pool pump, TVs, small appliances etc. Installing solar was the best decision we made before moving here. Having a reliable (and uninterrupted) power supply is invaluable to both our quality of life, and the life of our appliances. ProSolar's customer service is exceptional. Any system queries (which have been minor) have been responded to promptly and professionally. Give ProSolar a call, you won't be disappointed.

We wanted to drop a quick note about our experience with the crew at ProSolar. We recently had an additional 17 panels & 2 Tesla walls installed. They, even with a backlog, were able to get our project on the schedule and they actually got us taken care of ahead of schedule. They did an exceptional job, top notch and extremely professional. Love my solar system which has provided power through 68 power outages totaling 39 hours since the installation about 8 months ago. Rob Fairchild was the sales rep that made it all happen, getting answers and getting back to me as needed.

In the end, I have had a great experience with ProSolar. There were some miscommunications at times (being completely honest), but when things needed to get done, they took care of us. Gunnar was out here one night until 2am getting our system back online. Very glad they had our back and am looking forward to a very positive relationship going forward.

Excellent service. Prosolar delivered what they said, when they said they would. Living in the Caribbean it’s often hard enough to get one of those 2 things, and Prosolar came through on both, in addition to staying involved and responsive to help the system run smoothly.

Here on St. Croix, our power company is pretty bad. Power surges, 60 outages in the last 10 months, things like that. When I bought my house, I knew I was going solar. Period. One company never called me back, and the third returned my call the day Pro Solar started the install. The guys were great, they did a very timely install and got me online. My system has been up for 10 months now, and I've saved almost $8000 on electricity. The sun is shining, and the batteries are charging. I truly love my solar system. The only way I know the power is out, is when I hear my neighbor's generator start. If you live on St. Croix, you need a solar
system!

EDIT Three years later

The system still works, but I have learned several things. ProSolar installed an inferior Inverter. I've burnt up 3 and had one more defective out of the box. They offered to replace it with different unit at cost. Only about $4000. I bought a premium system, and paid premium money, from the "best" on the Island. I expect it taken care of. The first one died in just a few months.

Secondly, you can not charge Tesla batteries from a generator. With other brands you can. I personally find this huge.

I sold that house, and moved into another. I did NOT use Tesla or ProSolar this time. I went with the competition. $66,000 sale lost to them.

From initial visit to final installation certification, the whole process with ProSolar STX remained positive and hassle-free. Rob Fairchild excellently represented ProSolar during his initial and follow-up visits. The tech support and installation crews displayed deep knowledge of the system's ins/outs and worked efficiently, cleanly, and thoroughly to ensure our installation was top notch. The finished system operates as promised, providing very reliable and consistent results. Thanks to the entire ProSolar support team in both the STX and STT offices.

The entire process from start to finish was done professionally, quickly and efficiently. From the time I contacted ProSolar STX until the system went live was under a month. Rob Fairchild and Gunter were excellent to work with and they kept us informed every step of the way. The crew installing the solar were hardworking and friendly; they said they would start at 8am and they did. Any questions or problems were discussed with us and resolved on the spot. Within 10 days of going live we had two major power outages from WAPA; we heard our neighbors generators going, but we never missed a beat. It is so nice to be independent of WAPA. We would recommend ProSolar STX to anyone and everyone. The only issue I have is when the internet providers go down we have no way of monitoring our solar. Maybe gauges could be installed in the Gateway for visual indicators when the internet is down.

They are the best. We are repeat customers. We have had Prosolar installs at two separate properties and are very pleased with the results. So much so that we have referred them to friends. We don't worry about WAPA outages anymore and our cost of electricity is next to nothing! Shout out to Rob, Gunnar and Ryan. They will get the job done right!

From our first meeting with Greg Jones though working with the installation team, until most recent responses to questions by Gummar Johnson, and even email interaction with Kristie Burton in the office, we have been treated as a valued customer. Once we agreed to the installation, communication kept us up to date on installation plans. In fact, installation actually was started prior to the timeline set. Installers were courteous, worked efficiently, and kept us informed on progress and expectations. As we went live we were given a briefing on how the system worked and shown how to get the APP so we could monitor system operation. Most important, since the system was up and running we have not had a day when the battery did not make it through the night with power to spare. That was even true on a couple overcast days when the battery did not recharge to 100%. Most important, in the four months since installation, our total WAPA billing has been $ 54.00. So, we are well over $700 on our way toward paying for the system through savings. Guess that all adds up to satisfaction!

We had an excellent experience with PROSOLAR from the estimate through completion of our system. The system was designed and built with the latest technology down to an app on your phone which gives you a real time status of energy used and saved. Installing a system using PROSOLAR was the best decision we have made for our home.

This company has been on top since we first contacted them. Joel came and walked through what was going to happen at each step. Explaining how the set up was going to lay out and ask us questions to get a full idea of what we needed. Then the quote and Greg came out to ensure layout was the best way. More questions from us and them. A little delay due to their busy schedule but when they came out, those men worked the whole time. The after installation education was outstanding.
