- Darren and his Son Jorden did a wonderful and professional aluminum trim wrap on our home.
- Fantastic attention to detail, they cleaned up after themselves, and were all around a pleasure.
- Awesome customer service and communication.
- Darren the owner was very easy to talk with and didn't charge for additional work.
- You don't find customer service like this anymore.
- Good luck getting them to call or text you back much less getting them to actually show up.
- There was always an excuse as to why they weren’t coming followed by another promised start date.
- This was one of the most unprofessional companies and person I have dealt with.
- After week 3 the excuses started rolling in.
- He sent me an email stating yet another excuse and didn't have the courtesy to call.

July 2024 : My wife and I can’t say enough good things about Pro Tech Siding of Chesapeake ! Darren and his Son Jorden did a wonderful and professional aluminum trim wrap on our home , detached garage and storage building .they are extremely reasonably and beat everyone in price that I had contacted for an estimate. they did all the work “themselves” without any sub contractors or fly by night crews that don’t speak English . They did everything I ask and even more so than in the original work quote and did not charge for it like caulking some of my doors and storm door frames . Darren is a master at caulking and wrapping and bending aluminum . Darren the owner is very good at communication and informed me of any situation and weather issues. He gave us great advice and helped us through the process on color , material and what should be done .It was extremely hot weather during the work they performed but they kept on working till the job was done ! I’m a picky home owner and have lived in the same home for 37 years. I’m not not easy to please but I can say without hesitation ,do yourself a favor and give Pro Tech Siding the opportunity to work for you ! I’m glad I did ! W. Bateman in Deep Creek , Chesapeake , Va.

It all started with a storm door that wouldn't shut. For 6 years! Darren came over fixed the door, super easy for him.
While he was there I asked about my front windows and porch. Everything was from 1990s. Windows were metal and porch pillars were rotten at the bottom.
Darren helped with picking out the window (all I knew about windows ...well they are made of glass) and listened how I wanted the porch.
Finished product was amazing and better than I thought. What a fantastic attention to detail, they cleaned up after themselves, and were all around a pleasure. I can't wait to find the new front door I want and the money for new bedroom windows...oh yeah, he worked with my budget too! Thank you!

Good luck getting them to call or text you back much less getting them to actually show up! I used them once and it took forever for them to come out. There was always an excuse as to why they weren’t coming followed by another promised start date. They finally did the work. They even said they would be back to do a few pieces of vinyl siding for free since I was so patient. I actually paid them more than I was quoted because I don’t expect anything for absolutely free. They never came back! I now have a piece of fascia coming off that they replaced and I have been calling and texting Darren for well over a month! Once in a blue moon he will respond by text saying they will come next week but once again never shows or bothers to call or text! I call and text almost every day and out of the blue he responds with “I forgot to come by I’ll get you next week after he gets done installing some windows” and once again he is a no show, no call, no text! Stay clear of this company!

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
