What was so very SPECIAL is that they both went with me to the paint store to search out glitter paint and were MORE than willing to experiment with me on the ceiling after the first glitter additive failed. Their expert opinion on switching the color (hence, meaning they had to redo the ceiling) made it turn out like a MASTERPIECE !!! I am so happy!
They are both very down to earth people that truly care about your home and not just trying to take your money.

The interior of our house has unpainted woodwork in each room. We needed painters who were very careful so that the wood would not be splattered with paint.
Based on our neighbor's recommendation, we hired Pride Painting and Spackling to paint the interior of our house. This is a family owned business. Penny and Brian gave us detailed estimates of the work to be done in each room. Brian and his crew took their time to spackle and prepare each area. The painting was precise and our rooms now look fresh and new. They also had the challenging job of painting our entrance hall with a high ceiling and walls that extend to the second story. We were very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend Pride Painting.

Brian did an amazing job repairing the drywall around a recently installed bathroom medicine cabinet and painting of the damaged area. You would have never have know the extent of the damage when the job was completed. Brian was on time, professional and took his time to complete the job and do it right. We also had a stained ceiling repainted and it came out perfect. Brian took the time to prep the area and to clean up before leaving. We couldn't be happier!! Thanks again for an excellent job!! Penny and Brian derive both pleasure and satisfaction from their hard work. When first meeting Penny and Brian we had a feeling of confidence. They spent 7 days in our home which has 15 ft ceilings. Our thoughts were, this is going to be difficult. Brian explained how he was going to proceed in detail. Their team showed the same pride and dedication in their work. They were the most easiest company to communicate with the job I needed it to be done. Super professional!! I asked them to redone the ceiling. I expected to be a few days jobs but they finished in one day. Super fast job done, know what they doing, and gave me the best cheapest options as well. They did such a beautiful job and cleaned up nicely after the job as well. I definitely recommend them. And my house needs a lot of works so definitely I want them to come back and do the job for my house!

Excellent work. Had two fiberglass entry doors badly damaged from exposure to the sun. They sanded, primed and repainted the doors. They look like new now. They were neat and did not make a mess. Would recommend highly.

Needed new floors(they are excellent at installing vinyl), a good paint job, more closet space( built me 2 beautiful closets), the bathroom was crying for help(painted the tile and it looks great). We’ve used Pride Painting twice for interior paint projects first in 2016. Pride Home Improvement exceeded our expectations and did an amazing job renovating our basement. We hired Pride to skim coat and paint the whole room including the ceiling, and to design and build shelving into the back wall. Brian and his crew are very talented and the skim coating and painting they did on the ceiling and walls looks like brand new sheetrock. In addition to the great quality of their work, we really valued the ideas Brian and Penny suggested to us, like adding an accent wall and wainscot design which we were excited to incorporate into the project. Both of these ideas really made an impact and we just love the result.

The floors in my parent’s house were in horrible shape. Brian and Anthony did an excellent job in repairing and refinishing them. They completed the job in two days and were a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend them and plan on using their services in my own home in the future.

Pride had painted two bedrooms for us, repaired some drywall/water damage on the kitchen ceiling and installed moldings around our new skylights. We choose Pride based on reviews like these - and they were all absolutely true. Brian, Penny and their team were punctual, professional, meticulous and friendly. When we called for an estimate, they came by right away. They were responsive by email when we had questions. You could tell watching them work that they are perfectionists. Great care was also taken to protect the rest of your home and keep it clean. The end result was two beautiful bedrooms, a ceiling that looks good as new, and skylights that look finished.

I had a abundance amount of work that was needed on my home. It included skim coating, drywall repair, paint, mouldings, and flooring. I had many estimates, but I felt most comfortable with Penny and Brian. I’m so VERY HAPPY I did so. The work and craftsmanship of Brian is absolutely amazing. He’s a complete Master of his trades. The whole crew of workers were all top notch. Penny was so detailed on what was needed, how long it would take, and was on point with every question I had. I hired Pride Painting and spackling as contractors to do a job. By day four of the job we developed a friendship. By time the job ended I consider them family. They went above and beyond for me. There was absolutely no dust after all the sanding of my walls. The equipment they use, along with their attention to all details made me feel at complete ease. No stress, no worry, and knowing your home is being taken care of as if it was theirs. The work is absolutely PHENOMENAL, and they exceeded the high expectations I had. I loved having them around every day, it’s sought of sad in a way not seeing them at 8am all ready to go now that the job is complete. Brian and company (including Penny)did beautiful work in my den. They installed crown molding and new floor molding and painted the room. Brian always gives great advice, as far as colors and decorating. They arrive on time, are very easy to contact, easy to talk to and are hard workers. I highly recommend them.

We needed someone to repair a deep corner crack and cracking due to settling. Called Pride Painting and received an estimate and very prompt service. Watching Brian work took any worries we had away. He is experienced, talented and ethical. No shortcuts were taken. The jobs were done correctly - to his standards. He even touched up molding just to make the results "perfect." We had another problem in the kitchen and he resolved everything perfectly. Brian works methodically and neatly. Cleaned up, and vacuumed leaving everything spotless. Will definitely call him again and recommend him highly.

Contacted Brian for plastering a room that I recently finished insulating and installing drywall. Originally he told me it would be maybe a week or 2 for the work to be started - he called me back in 1 day and said he could be here on Saturday(which was maybe 3 days after I contacted him) he came over and did the work in 2 days - he was here the first day for maybe 10-12hrs easily (very dedicated) he even repaired a small portion of another wall downstairs at no extra cost......the work was much appreciated and the quality was beyond belief; def will be in touch for future projects without a doubt

This company is 125% they give the extra that always on time the value also is good that prices are reasonable and the most things are that they actually do a lot of carpentry which they did for me on my garage and inside also I'd recommend them to anyone 100% thank you Brian ,Penny and crew.

This man worked with my budget and And time frame And gave me a phenomenal Taping/spackling job at a MORE then fair price. He definitely worked for his money. Even finished up the job on the morning of Easter which is today.
I had several Other contractors Look at the job and said it would be a 4 to 5 day project, and charge me more money based on it was going to be a 4 to 5 day project.This man Bryan from Pride kept his word and finished the job in LESS then a weekend. 1 and 1/2 days to be exact..I can't begin to tell you how good of a job he did, Just phenomenal. Even down to the clean up ,When Bryan was done, You could not tell he was ever here. There was no evidence of any plaster on the floor at all. He did an Awesome job of cleaning up after himself as well. Floors were in perfect shape. This is what separates the Men from the boys..Bryan is the man..I will be using him in the future And I would most definitely recommend him to do work in my own parents house as well as your house..

This company has the best painter. Brian is very particular and can see every speck on your walls. Brian painted my den that had dark oak wainscoting on the walls. He used the correct products for the wood. It looks like it should be in a magazine and on HGTV! The room was transformed from an outdated den into a beautiful bright entertainment room! Brian, Penny and Owen are very punctual, polite and respectful!! DEFINITELY will be calling them back for another project.

I called pride painting and sparkling for an estimate to make over my bathroom in my rental apartment, Brian answered the phone right away and gave me an estimate the same day. He suggested I paint my walls a beautiful blue to go with the grey bathroom vanity I purchased from Home Depot, I gotta tell you he was spot on with the color it gave life to my previously ugly brown bathroom, and it went so well with the grey vanity! Brian really knows his paint colors and what goes with what, he even hung up my shower curtain and hung up my picture that I bought for the wall for no extra charge! I called Brian from Pride Painting and spackling. he was fast with his response, he was affordable, showed up every day , did some laminate floors, put up moldings, Spackled and painted my whole house, pays attention to detail, which was very big for us. Trustworthy, helpful. We’re going to be using him on another project in the summer.  and I already recommended to a family member 

Brian was fantastic to use for our crown molding installation and for touch ups around the house. He always communicated well, his work is great, reasonably priced and cleans up after himself. I've already recommended him to family members looking to have work done! I would definitely use him again, as I am very happy with how the work came out. Brian did my floors from old dingy carpet to a nice laminate floor and painted my hall way and livingroom. An amazing job of removing old tiles, which is a monumental and difficult job, redesigning a center island and installing a new back splash.that is impeccable. We are totally satisfied with their workmanship. Not only was the work done in a timely manner, it was also done perfectly. Clean-up was amazing as well. We HIGHLY recommend Pride. I cannot say enough great things about Brian and Pride Painting. I had a leak from my central air conditioner which ruined my whole ceiling in my hallway and living room. To make it worse the ceiling was a vaulted ceiling! Brian gave me a great price, and worked hard every single day. He worked day and night to make sure the job was done perfectly. Brian is amazing at what he does, to this day nobody can tell I had a leak or any work done to my ceiling. He was able to blend the new ceiling into the existing perfectly. He didn't just do the work and leave, he went above and beyond and spent hours cleaning when the job was done to make sure everything was spotless. Brain, Penny, and crew were awesome! To begin, their level of customer service and responsiveness is top-notch! Brian replied quickly to my initial inquiry for floor, casement, and crown moulding installation in two rooms, including paint, and to resurface a wall and re-paint it for me and worked with me to get out to Suffolk to give me an estimate pretty quickly. It was well under other estimates I had received already.

We scheduled the job for Friday and Monday, but Brian contacted me and asked if it would be alright to come over with his crew to begin demo since they were in the area and had time. He brought over a massive crew and supervise everything, along with Penny. It saved us a bunch of time. He made not of some last-minute modifications I wanted and wasn't fazed at all. He went to Home Depot that night and purchased all of the material i requested for me, and bought just the perfect amount.

The whole crew came back on Friday morning and worked from 7:45am to 5:30 with nary a break, just to get the job done for me before the weekend. The work is outstanding! Very, very professional job. I actually enjoyed watching Brian work because it's plain to see he enjoys it. He was smiling most of the time and really into the job. The crew accidentally broke the spring on my front porch door, and Brian apologized profusely and made a point to come back over the weekend, in the morning, to fix the door. It was a tiny part and really didn't affect the operation of the door, but he didn't want to leave it unfinished. I really appreciated that.

On the spot they gave me an estimate for another room. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them for more work (I think I'm actually about to), and I've already given them a reference to a neighbor who saw the work and liked it.
